"If you're looking for a quiet case that will house a lot of components and one that is not flashy but rather conservative and sophisticated, then this case is for you. Just make sure you obtain the additional front fan from NZXT to assist with cooling, otherwise you might consider going with liquid cooling."
"The Whisper is a very sturdy and well built product designed to please users who value the acoustics performance above all else and want a classic, simple looking case. The layout combined with the number of drives and components it can house makes it ideal for large HTPCs, file servers and small to average sized workstations. It can easily accommodate a gaming system as well and because of the length of the motherboard compartment all GFX cards will easily fit. Nevertheless, one should really consider upgrading the fans of the case or installing water cooling as the "out of the box" cooling is not powerful enough."
"The new NZXT Whisper is built like a modern server case should be. With its excellent storage features, high component support, unique noise dampening and truly whisper-quiet operation, there are few cases in its class that are built to please as well as the Whisper. On top of that, it was apparent that this enclosure was built for the budget minded. While there are clearly some minor quality issues, this tower is modestly priced for what it has to offer. If you're a smart shopper, you can actually pick up this beast for as little as $100. At this price point, its features and excellent design does manage to earn our recommendation."
"...we feel that the Whisper is a very nice chassis, though it has a couple of compromises. At 139 USD it's priced roughly where it should be. Not too expensive, not cheap either. The one thing I expect from a chassis called Whisper, is for it to be really silent .. and it's just not silent enough. The mishaps we are reporting are not very big though, some discomforts at best, but it certainly can't be overlooked as there are a few of them. I'd tag the Whisper as a spacious versatile big tower chassis with good build quality. The sound dampening features itself are really great but to get it to proper silence level .. you'll need to PWM control the fans either with your motherboard BIOS or purchase a fancontroller, and to us that just did not make sense. Other than that, this is a lovely chassis of course."
"Bottom line here, if your looking for a full tower case that has plenty of room and at the same time will help keep things rather quiet then your search is over. The NZXT Whisper is a silent monster of a case and it's ready for your huge system."
