The P45 Platinum is a socket 775 motherboard that uses the Intel P45 Express chipset. It has 4 DDR2-1200 DIMM slots, 2 PCI-Express 2.0 x16, 2 PCI-Express x1, 2 PCI slots, integrated audio, and supports 1600/1333/1066/800 MHz FSB speeds. Rear panel I/O ports include: 6 USB 2.0, 2 LAN (RJ45), 1 optional IEEE1394, 1 External SATA, 1 Optical and 1 Coaxial S/PDIF output, and 8-channel audio I/O.
