Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme QX9770 & QX9650 Review - DriverHeaven
Clearly the Yorkfield processors should be top of the shopping list for anyone who can afford them, but which should you buy? In our opinion the model to go for is the QX9650, especially if you have DDR3-1333MHz memory. Setting up a system with those two components is a breeze and whilst it is possible to use 1600MHz+ there is some amount of bios configuration required. Of course, if you must have the fastest system available then the QX9770 is unmatched at the time of writing.
