About the Product

The Core i7 965 Extreme Edition is a 3.2 GHz 45-nanometer quad-core Bloomfield CPU. It supports the LGA 1366 (Socket B) form factor, and the Intel X58 chipset. Features a maximum 1 x 6.4 GT/s QuickPath interface, 256KB L2 cache per core, and shared 8 MB L3 cache. Features triple-channel memory controller, and only supports DDR3-800/1066 memory. Also features Turbo Boost, Hyperthreading. Single-die architecture for cores, memory controller and cache.
