THE GOOD: Versatile,m Lots of ports and hard drive controllers,. Documentation very good but I have seen better.
THE BAD: Unreliable indicating defective manufacturing. Hard drives both on IDE 1 and RAID 1 and 2 ports frequently do not load requirng pilling cables and reinserting them, Intermittently will not load memory. Only 3 DIMM slots. AGP slot too close to PCI slot so that PCI slot blocked by Video Card fan. Must use BIOs to change boot order because no drop down menu available.Hard to connect panel connectors.
THE GOOD: Good Overclocker(maybe not as good as others but good) My 3200 is at 2.67GHz with stick cooler(243x11) Never had any stability problems. 1394b is awesome Love the Gigabit lan and 8x USB ports. Love easy tune 4-5 utility makes it easyer for noobies to overclock.
THE BAD: Raid hard to setup. Little pricy
SUMMARY: I love the motherboard and woulden't even give it up for a 939 version, I am building systems for friends and this or similar boards are going in to their systems for sure.
I've had this board for a week now and I haven't had any problems in any way, shape, or form. I have even OC'd my 3200+ (1MB Cache) to 2.4GHz (though my RAM of course helped make that possible, as it is Corsair XMS PC-4400) I'm also loving the built in 7.1 sound so far as it saves me from having to buy a soundcard. I'm not sure how it compares to others, but it is definitly good enough for me.
