Quoted from Cooler Master CM Storm Ceres-400 Reviews:
Check out these quotes from Cooler Master CM Storm Ceres-400 reviews & previews"To answer the question stated in the beginning of this review, I have to say no, the Ceres 400 is not meant for music -- it is meant for gaming, and gaming alone. Overall, for a budget-oriented gaming product, I can't really complain to any reasonable extent. Yes, these headsets are not amazing, and if you have money, I would suggest looking to other options such as the Cooler Master CM Storm Sirus. I must say though, for $50, you do get some bang for your buck if you are a gamer."
"Cooler Master has a developed a winner here. However, I have a couple of issues with the claims on their website regarding the Ceres-400. First, it is marketed as being an "ultra portable gaming headset." Considering its size and the fact that it does not fold up, I would suggest rethinking that tagline. And second, the ear pads are described as, "sound absorbing cushions [that] sit comfortably on your ears and help block out distractions...." Again, the Ceres-400 does not live up to that claim. In fact, it does nothing to even remotely reduce outside noise distractions."
"Overall a solid performance from the Ceres 400 headset and certainly better than I was expecting. That is not to say I was expecting poor performance from the latest CM Storm headset, but given their price tag I wasn’t expecting the sound quality to be as rich from a headset with such a modest price tag."
"A good headset that offers excellent sound quality, deep bass and a comfortable fit. Well worthy of consideration to consumers wanting a versatile, sub-£40 headset."
"The CM Storm Ceres-400 has been designed to offer a rich audio experience as well as comfortable fit, all in a stylish package"
