THE BAD: The black front didn't make it clear from the start that this was more than a reader.
SUMMARY: When visiting my family in the UK I found this device on their system. I had brought my own burner with me from Holland, but having installed some software, it told me that there were now 2 writers in the system. Since I had to burn a number of back-ups for them, it was nice that this Samsung was so fast. I also found some empty DVD+R disks in the house, but this is something the Samsung cannot do. If they come out with a DVD-writer, however, I suspect that will be a good one too. I have a Samsung DVD-player at home.
THE BAD: this drive crashed my machine again and again!
SUMMARY: i used this drive in a 1.5ghz amd with half a gig of ram with power dvd software. if the disk has the slightest smudge the drive won't read it. and then it will crash your system. dont buy dvd drives from samsung or compaq. i think they created this drive to annoy people.
THE GOOD: the HT version realy does seem to simulate 2 cpu's
THE BAD: it heats up realy quik and you need that wierd p4 power hook up thingy
SUMMARY: i noticed that that power hookup thing has no reason at all, whats the purpose of it,why couldent intel use normal power cords to connect to their p4 , even though i'd rather have real cpu's rather then dividing one, dual cpu's look cooler
THE GOOD: Very stable and VERY overclockable!!!!! Have had it up to 400MHz!!!
THE BAD: None so far.
SUMMARY: Bought a stick of this ram though the reseller ratings for OCZ weren't that great. I decided to take a chance and I have had nothing but great things to say about this ram! I compaired it to a stick of Mushkin and it destroyed it! OCZ rocks! Keep up the good work! If you are looking for some stable ram then OCZ is what you need!
THE GOOD: Great Features - Low Price - Very Good Speed
THE BAD: Initial Lack of Mt. Rainier format support
SUMMARY: I've been using the Samsung SM-348B for a couple of months now, and it's indeed a fine all around unit. However, the initial lack of Mt. Rainier format support was disappointing. That problem has now been corrected, since the latest flash upgrade (Version T506) for the unit's firmware now has Mt. Rainier format support included. That makes this unit even more attractive. Thought you would just like to know about the upgrade. Enjoy. TheBeagle in ChocolateTown - USA
SUMMARY: This board is superb in options and price. I will buy it!!! Around me it has the best price compared with other top AMD boards. And it support the next Barton AMD processor (see the bios updates) ! Zupcu
THE GOOD: Everything is good on this card, the graphics, the frame-rate, the 64bit textures!I have got this card running full speed on Doom III now COME ON!
THE BAD: Nothing!!!
SUMMARY: I can judge this card against others as i have 8 computers in my house(i have the radeon) My bro has a GeForce 4 32mb, my sis no 1 has the fairly old Voodoo II and my other sis has a Nvidia TNT II(good gfx until we tried it on UT2003, but it runs ok with moderate gfx Overall mine was the best in everyway, and for £90 what its good enough to die for! just to say, The UT2003 and the Unreal II gfx using the Radeon 9000 PRO 64mb DDR were, shall we say, KICKASS, better than any available Nvidia card, probably the best after the 9500, go out and buy this card I hope this review was helpful
THE GOOD: You will love the auto fan speed contoller cools like a dream especially on intel 370 processors
THE BAD: you need your big bro and his mate to provide enough force to clamp this beast down
SUMMARY: At 1300 rpm this thing is quiet, very quite. But as soon as thing speeds up you can really feel 47db but it does the job and does it well. I have always had good experiences with Thermaltake products and this was no disapointment.
THE GOOD: Board runs great, wish they both had the chip set fans.
THE BAD: Purchased the ULTRA KT 3 And KT 4 boards in January this year. No chips set fans
SUMMARY: After buying both the Ulra KT 3 and KT 4 boards, found (NO) chip set fans were on either board as pictured from the Ultra homepage. Fradulant info provided to get consumer to buy this board. And the dealer will not refund or replace board because this is not there problem. E-mail manufacture with (NO) repeat (NO) response. So do not believe the board will come with everything shown on it by the manufacture, it does not include the chip set fan as advertised.
