Fast, easily installed, reliableThe bad:
The black front didn't make it clear from the start that this was more than a reader.Summary:
When visiting my family in the UK I found this device on their system. I had brought my own burner with me from Holland, but having installed some software, it told me that there were now 2 writers in the system. Since I had to burn a number of back-ups for them, it was nice that this Samsung was so fast. I also found some empty DVD+R disks in the house, but this is something the Samsung cannot do. If they come out with a DVD-writer, however, I suspect that will be a good one too. I have a Samsung DVD-player at home.
this drive crashed my machine again and again!Summary:
i used this drive in a 1.5ghz amd with half a gig of ram with power dvd software. if the disk has the slightest smudge the drive won't read it. and then it will crash your system. dont buy dvd drives from samsung or compaq. i think they created this drive to annoy people.
just tring to help
the HT version realy does seem to simulate 2 cpu'sThe bad:
it heats up realy quik and you need that wierd p4 power hook up thingySummary:
i noticed that that power hookup thing has no reason at all, whats the purpose of it,why couldent intel use normal power cords to connect to their p4 , even though i'd rather have real cpu's rather then dividing one, dual cpu's look cooler
Very stable and VERY overclockable!!!!! Have had it up to 400MHz!!!The bad:
None so far.Summary:
Bought a stick of this ram though the reseller ratings for OCZ weren't that great. I decided to take a chance and I have had nothing but great things to say about this ram! I compaired it to a stick of Mushkin and it destroyed it! OCZ rocks! Keep up the good work! If you are looking for some stable ram then OCZ is what you need!
Great Features - Low Price - Very Good SpeedThe bad:
Initial Lack of Mt. Rainier format supportSummary:
I've been using the Samsung SM-348B for a couple of months now, and it's indeed a fine all around unit. However, the initial lack of Mt. Rainier format support was disappointing. That problem has now been corrected, since the latest flash upgrade (Version T506) for the unit's firmware now has Mt. Rainier format support included. That makes this unit even more attractive. Thought you would just like to know about the upgrade. Enjoy. TheBeagle in ChocolateTown - USA
Easy to useThe bad:
Loud, large, heavy.Summary:
For the same kind of money you can get an antec with a truepower power supply... the case fans are much quieter too.
How they can get away with calling this a silent case I don't know!
I know have many cases and although this is okay for the enhusiast it can't compare to cooler master, lian li or antec.
Sav your money and get an antec or spend some more and get a cooler-master!
