THE GOOD: Put out a good amount of sound, quite good fidelity, sub out port so you can pair a subwoofer with these (which I did and makes the lower range so much nicer). Put these with a nice sub and bam, you have yourself a great speaker set for a computer. Mine have been going strong for 3 years, and I am the second owner.
THE BAD: Power switch is funny on the speakers, but just turn off and back on to make it connect right the second time. After 3 years of on/off every day, to be expected.
SUMMARY: Got this set of speakers from the throwaway pile one day, figured what the heck, might as well try them; also found the matching subwoofer as well. Much to my surprise, I plugged them in and was blown away by the quality and amount of sound they put out. I figured they had to be blown out or something for someone to throw them away, but they sound great, like brand new. With a matched subwoofer, you have a great set of speakers for the computer room or whatever you can come up with. Watching movies, listening to music, it all sounds great on this setup. If you can find a pair, highly recommended. I'll be sad once these finally give up the ghost.
THE GOOD: They make sound if you connect them to an output.
THE BAD: They make sound if you connect them to an output.
SUMMARY: The sound they make is very bland. Dull, muffled, and with horribly boomy bass. I got them free with my Dell ages ago. They're rubbish. Oh, and the on-off switch on the satellites broke. I had to replace it with tin-foil.
Here are a few more characters for you. Enjoy them. And don't ever get these speakers.
