Roundups and Shootouts

P4 Cooler Roundup Q4 2002 - Digital Daily
"...if the processor is weak (that could be a Celeron Northwood or lower-end Pentium4 Northwood models), take the Titan W5TB(TC) without any fear. This cooler is very(!) quiet. If the processor is bit more powerful (or if you plan to upgrade to one in future), you are better off taking the "box-type" cooler (which is also able varying the rotational speed depending on the temperature)."

"...under ideal conditions this concept should equate to an overall increase in cooling capability which is very cool indeed."

"If you're using the stock Intel heatsink and you're keeping under 70 degrees with a healthy overclock, I'm leaning towards the keep-your-wallet-in-your-pants technique. On the other hand, if you somehow got stuck with a lame-ass OEM cooler, or you're looking for a cool heatsink (in more ways than one) that you can change fans on (you could slap a nifty LED fan on the 5700 if you'd like), then Zalman's baby may just fit the bill."

"...it cools extremely efficiently at negligible noise levels and it is arguably one of the best if not the best cooling solution for any P4."
