THE GOOD: Works fine for our NT 4.0 Workstations, using AMD chips with ATX type motherboards
THE BAD: Can't seem to get it to work on Windows 2000. When you go to install it, it freezes the system.
SUMMARY: Not sure on all 2000 issues. Still working it. But as far as I can tell, we have had no problems on NT4.0. We are just migrating to 2000 now, and the very first machine I went to changeover is giving me a problem. I may be back to publish the results.
THE BAD: can it really B installed?? 2 many harware issues. Memory problems.
SUMMARY: First note... I was able to install this LAN card into only one computer. It works ok with it. Second note: After the first one... it would not install on any of the newer PCs. (all are P3 machines & 1 AMD) I don't know if the second place I bought these cards from had all defective cards. I returned first set (3) back for 3 new ones... & still had same issues. The card likes to use same IRQs as the printer & sometimes other hardware. Also noted that it tries to use the same memory space allocated to other devices. I would stay away from it... if you can't get it to install on the first try. Support wasn't good on their website either.
