This AMD Athlon XP processor with QuantiSpeed architecture is based on the "Thoroughbred" core of 0.13 micron processors. The Athlon XP 2200+ operates at a frequency of 1.73GHz. The processor features 256KB on-chip L2 and 128KB L1 cache, supports DDR memory, and is meant to be compatible with Socket A motherboards.
