Upon landing in Baccus Village, you will notice the village is full of the small creatures with large hats that you ran into on Phoenix Mountain. Head into the Town Square in the center of town and view the Bulletin Board. It seems that there is a real mouse lost somewhere in town. Head towards the tavern in the bottom left section of town and talk to the citizen in the middle of the 3 at the bar.



Return to the Town Square and speak with the elder. Look at the Bulletin Board again to find that the villagers need someone to help them fix the pump at Baccus Lake. Take the exit by the tavern and speak with the villager there. He will offer to guide you to Baccus Lake.



Head through the outside of the Haunted Mansion, listening to the villager as he tells you which way to go. Break as many eggs as you can now, you will thank me later.
When you arrive at the lake-front, proceed north and get the Pipe. Head back to the first area and goto the dock on the right. Use the machinery there several times until the motors are working.



Return to Baccus Village through the Haunted Mansion, again listening to the villager as to which way to go.

When you return to the village, speak with the elder one more time, speak with a few villagers to find out more about the Haunted Mansion, then proceed to the north-most hut in town and speak with the Red Fortune Teller several times until she tells your fortune, (which is actually a hint at which Evil Pig Bags are used in which area).

Proceed back towards the Haunted Mansion to the next step of your journey.
