Andraste



The Andraste is revered as the "goddess of battle," but she simply doesn't look the part. In fact, Andraste herself is quite embarrassed about the whole thing.

Note: As one of the starting folk, your best strategy for Andraste is to keep hammering away with Pouke and to use Killmoulis to defend yourself when needed.

Bargest



Under cover of darkness, the Bargest appears out of nowhere. They say that just before a famous person dies, it gathers the dogs in the area and starts howling.

Note: Ogma is the best option for attacking Bargest (and at the beginning, the only), however once you advance and get Fraxinus, it is best to use Fraxinus instead. This will allow you to deal damange from a distance, which means quicker battles.

Boobrie



A giant, ferocious bird that lives near the water's edge and mercilessly devours any who approach. It's rumoured to transform into a horse and gallop across the water.

Note: Putting it to sleep with Cait Sidhe can give you time to deal damage to it, however without Cait Sidhe you should simply hammer away with Pouke whilst using Killmoulis to dodge it's attack.

Browney



The Browney loves to store the honey it recieves for helping humans with their domestic chores. But gets very sad as it's always knocking the honey pot over.

Bug-a-boo



Adults often threaten their children with THE BUG-A-BOO WILL GET YOU IF YOU DON'T BEHAVE. But the Bug-a-boo loves children, and wishes they'd stop saying that.

Note: As Ellen, the best way to capture this Id early on is by using Cait Sidhe's sleep attack to deal damage. As Keats use a fire type.

Cait Sidhe



Sometimes appears in the human world in the form of a black cat. It can speak human language, but pride prevents it from doing so except on rare occasions.

Note: You can find two Cait Sidhe in the area marked on the map to the right. To capture Cait Sidhe you will firstly need to avoid it's sleeping powder, and secondly need to stop it before it can run. You can do the first easily by wearing the Faery Cloak, as for the second, you can either use Impet, or preferably Dracae. If the latter is not available you can try to cut it off and attack it multiple times to get it's id to show before it escapes.

Daru



The Daru is the metamorphosis of a mature oak tree. Often revered as the king of the forest, its presence and broad expansiveness have won over many a faery.

Note: Daru is weak against sleep, and so if you use Cait Sidhe or Habetrot, you can capture this folk in a fairly short amount of time.

Ogma



The Ogma's fierce appearance is merely a temporary form. Its true form is that of a gentle old man. Some worship it as a wise god who taught man how to read and write.

Note: Use Impet or Dracae to bond it to the place where it stands, and keep attacking it till it's defeated. If at any point it manages to break free, then use a Bond-type folk again to stop it in it's tracks.

Poury



The Poury lives in abandoned ruins and scares people with its incessant loud noise. A volume louder than usual is a sure omen of misfortune to come.

Note: Ensure that you avoid it's ground shattering attack, which it will do moments after raising it's head into the air. When it does that, dodge out of it's way, and then resume your attack.

Shefro



The Shefro used to wear foxglove flower headgear that could break faery curses, but these days it's all the rage to wear handmade hats instead.

Note: This folk will appear in the area marked on the right hand side. It will only appear if all other folk in this area have been captured. To capture it you will require a Sleep type folk, though you will find it tons easier to use Habetrot. Keeping your back to the stone area will also help in keeping the other folk that it summons away from you. Just keep using the sleep-type folk till it's Id shows, and then capture it.
