Tiger: Looks cool, fights well, likes eating cow. Quite thick and easy to go evil.
Ape: Looks dumb, fights bad, likes eating fish. Very clever and hard to choose an alignment.
Cow: Looks okay, fighs defensivly, likes eating grain. Pretty clever and easy to go good.
Mod Note: Some players may have more success with the Ape than others.
print meHappy Village
In the many and various FAQ's and guides on the internet, it is stipulated that it is impossible to have a completely happy village. this is NOT true! If you download the football addon from lionhead's site you'll see why. When the villagers have no desires (in others words are HAPPY) and you have built the football pitch, they will start a footy match instead of sitting around. Disciples will still work though...
print meLots of food and wood from miracles
Choose either the food or wood miracle and go to your village store. Put your miracle over the edge wall, the seperator, or one of the stacks of supplies if they're full to where it stops growing, and tap the mouse a whole bunch. After the miracle is spent, you should have a huge amount of supplies.
print me See Beach balls, bowling balls and bowling pins
Go to the God's Playground (press [F2] during a game) and exit out of the first tutorial by pressing [Esc]. Then zoom all the way out. Look for the small island off of the larger one. When you find it, zoom in on it. Rotate the camera so that you are looking at the small island and can see the large island in the distance. At the base of the small island you will see two beach balls, two bowling balls and some bowling pins with smiley faces on them.

Start the tutorial and wait for your conscience to stop talking. Repeatedly move your mouse in circles and your evil conscience's head will eventually start spinning
print meInfinite Water Miracles
Use the following trick to get unlimited Water Miracles on the first level.. At the place where there is the first silver reward, scroll on land one. After completing it, knock over the rock again and it will turn into a Water Miracle.

On island 3 pick up the stupid actor who says "you can't kill me" and throw him into lethys prayer bowl he will be stuck so you can use lightning to create hell everywhere!

Set your system date to April 1 and begin a game. Your character will now leave smiley face footprints in the ground.

The God's Playground is a place in Black & White for you to test out your skills. To get there, hit F2 in-game, and hit it again to leave.

Cast the fireball miricle then press the action button and drop it on whatever you want to burn then quickly press the action button over it and you will pick it up great for punishing villagers

To modify the passing of time, hold the Alt key and then, press 1 for a slow down, or press 2 for a speed up.

Get your creature to make a breeder and wait about 2 minutes. Find the new born baby and get your creature to pick it up. Then rub his tummy and watch him eat it. A second later he'll be hit by the mother, spit it out and give it back.

- Turn the miracle you want your creature to learn into an one-shot miracle.
- Leash your creature with the learning leash.
- Give the one-shot miracle to your creature and put on the ground
- Give your creature the one-shot miracle again and put the on the ground.
- Repeat this until your creature has fully learn the miracle.

While you have a food/wood miracle in your god's hands go over to your village store and keep pressing the action button very quickly. You should get thousands of food/wood.

While you've got your creature in another realm watch out - the god of that realm will cast a spell on your creature e.g fireball. Don't worry, you can still heal him by using your heal miracle. He will have cuts and bruises when you'e healed him, but they'll go away soon.
