Cheat Codes
Enter the "Options" screen and choose the "Codes" selection. Enter the following case sensitive codes:

Distract visitor shots
How authentic does this game get? You can have your fans try to distract a shooter during penalty free throws. If you are the home team, repeatedly press X when the visiting team is shooting a free throw.

Hidden teams
From the Options screen, select Codes and enter vc and as the cheat code. This will unlock the Mo Cap, Sega Net and Sega Sports teams. This will also allow you to play as Redman (the rapper), who will be a reserve on the Mo Cap team.

Random team selection
When selecting a team in Exhibition Mode, press L + R + A.

Restore energy with fatigue "ON"
If you are playing with fatigue ON, you can restore the energy of your players by going to the Options menu, and toggling the "fatigue" option off. Return to the game, and then back to the options menu to toggle the "fatigue" setting back on. Your players' energy levels should be restored to full.

Show Additional stats
Pause during a game game and select the "Substitution" option. Press X at the substitution screen to view a player's 3 point shooting rating, and rebound rating.

Blocking
If you are going up to block a shot, you can hold the button, then release it when you want to block the ball.

Better Ally Oop
Instead of going up, stopping and doing the ally oop, keep going and just press the Analog-stick, then whenever you are ready, press R. This makes the move more realistic.

Force Out-of-Bounds
This technique allows you to get the ball almost everytime when playing a computer opponent and works best when playing on the same team with a friend. When the computer in-bounds the ball, quickly approach the player who receives the ball, he will then pass the ball to the nearest player . While the ball is in the air, take another guy and run into the player who is receiving the pass. This will cause you to hold up the player and in most cases the ball will continue out of bounds and result in a turnover.

Bonus players on Sega Sports team
Enable the "Hidden teams" code to unlock the Sega Sports team. Enter the "Options" screen and choose the "Codes" selection. Then, enter "Marrinson", "Stricker", "Dobson", or "Aynaga" as a cheat code to unlock secret players on the Sega Sports team. Remember that codes are case-sensitive.

Bonus players on Mo Caps team
Enable the "Hidden teams" code to unlock the Mo Caps team. Enter the "Options" screen and choose the "Codes" selection. Then, enter "Arnold" as a cheat code to unlock a secret player on the Mo Caps team. The rapper Redman will also be on the Mo Caps reserves. Remember that codes are case-sensitive.

Always steal ball in street ball
While playing against the CPU in street ball, press D-pad + R tohave your CPU-controlled teammate intentionally foul the other team. Your teammate will shove your opponent and steal the ball without being called for a foul, because you are playing by street ball rules. If done correctly, your opponent will never get a shot off.
