The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Tips

Some people don't know this but you can pick up bear traps and move them around but you can't pick them up buy the spikes you have to pick them up from the side, I recommend you close the trap first.
Ive just tried this and it worked like a charm, get a paralysis potion hit some non essential person quickly try to pick pocket them while they are still on the floor, give them the said item best to give stolen weapon then let them up,attack them or cast fury on them they will equip the stolen weapon kill them it will fall on floor as no longer stolen
As a Mage, Magicka is most certainly your top priority. However, Magicka should not be your only priority. Distributing points to both Health and Stamina will also save your life, if not on numerous occasions. Remember that, even as a Mage, Health and Stamina are essential for taking blows and/or evading them as well.

I have found an easy way to increase your conjuration and your one handed skill. Have you found a character that you can't kill because they have something to do with a quest later? Well you can use them to increase your skills.
Get a bound weapon spell (I had bound sword) and attack this person until they get into the kneeling position. Sheath your bound weapon and summon it back again, keep doing this until the character gets back up. Then just attack them until they're kneeling again. Rinse and repeat. You will need plenty of magika potions, especially if your level is low.
With my character I took down the Stormcloak rebellion and sided with the Imperial Legion, so whenever I went to a Stormcloak camp I could kill everyone and not get a bounty and the leader never died. Just a little thing I found.
For some quick levels in Conjuration you just need to do two simple things. Firstly have the soul trap spell then go out into the wild and kill an animal, like a wolf. Once it's dead cast soul trap on its corpse over and over and your conjuration skill will level up rather quickly. Refill your magicka when needed and continue on till your Conjuration is as high as you want.
First, fing a group of Tholmor. They should be seen in Imperial territory, but are a little hard to find. Try talking to one (not one in robes; one in yellow armor). Keep talking until it attacks you. They aren't too hard to defeat. The one in robes has the enchanted robes that have a minor effect bu are valuable. Beware: she is a masterful mage that will beat the crap out of you if you don't have high skill. Oh, as long as you talk until you are attacked, no one cares. If you attack directly, you may get a bounty.

If you want to have illusion magic strengthened and level up quick here`s how.Early in game when your about level 20 or higher Go to the jarls palace in dragonsreach and ask the Mage in his quarters what he has for sale. Then scroll down to books and look for muffled.Purchase it then use the book to learn it.Then go wherever you want and just keep casting it.It helps you level up quick. What the spell does is makes you walk quieter. It helps in combat if you like surprise attacking enemies or if your with the dark brotherhood and have to assassinate someone.Hope this helps you magic lovers thanks for reading.
A simple way to upgrade your smith skill is to buy as much iron ingot and leather strips from a blacksmith. These items are cheap and numerous. Just buy as many as you can, create iron daggers and your skill will be up in no time, if you have cash to buy the stuff.

1st.buy the conjugation weapon spell you want to increase,
• bound bow(archery)
• bound battleax(two-handed)
• bound sword(one handed)
(p.s.,there might be more,but i don't know)
2nd.equip the spell you want to increase,(make sure you hove enough magica to cast it)
3rd.run into battle with spell sumond(right after beaing seen)and if you ONLY fight with the weapon you summoned you will power level conjuration and what ever you chose

In Solitude in front of the Imperial Legion there are people shooting arrows at targets you can keep taking the arrows out of the targets as long as you want. This is true of several places round Skyrim.

Go to Calcemo with the item he requested. BEFORE speaking to him drop the item on the ground. Then agree to give him the item. Tada! You get your gold, he's happy and you still have your item.
Throughout quests and cities in Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, you'll find yourself discovering a vast amount of Books, labeled and displayed in various sizes, colors, etc. Though books may not be useful for bashing in an enemy's head, books are also a very important asset to the game. Reading books can level you up in many different areas of combat that you may otherwise have not been able to do. Taking your time to flip through a book or two whilst on a quest will benefit you in the long run.

Well you will need some coin for this to work all you have to do is take the stolen and place it in a glitch chest like the one under the skyforge,or the dawnstar invisible one look it up if you dont know about them, anyway put the item in,then go to the seller and buy it back its no longer stolen, then go to the chest again get you coin back now its free too.happy stealing
Early on in the game during the "Unbound" quest when you are either with Hadvar or Rolof and you are told to sneak by the cave bear or kill it, don't kill it, instead find somewhere that you can see the bear and go into sneak mode and put a rubber band on your controller so your moving against the wall and make sure the bear can't see you and leave your xbox on and go to school or something and when you come back you should have 100 sneak and be at least level 16, thats what happened to me when I did this.
I hope this helps anyone who wants join the Thief's guild or Dark Brotherhood, or just wants to be high level and sneak!
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Glitches

Okay,First thing First, I am not sure what forges this works on but the forge in Riften will hurt you and you will catch on fire and if you count to 2 and jump, when you land you'll be hurt/on fire again. For the Restoration Skill Part just have any healing spell out and when your health gets nice and low, Heal. Also great for beginners that want a restoration and destruction character, Hope this helps!
When casting the spell Bound: Battle Axe, occassionally you will summon an invisible axe. You will not be able to sheathe it, use it or trade it out by any means, thus leaving you defenseless.
Note: this only happens occassionally, not all the time. I suggest refraining from using the item, especially if you haven't saved in awhile.

First get out of Whiiterun. Then go to the Imperial towerby just going at a kind of slant angle to the left. When you find it stand facing outside of the tower and head straight. When you reach the giant bomfire filled with jiants pull out your bow and shoot once at one. Then run back to the tower with the jiant fallowing you and enter the tower just so your a bit away form the door then just shoot them with your bow. Keep doing theis youll be a high rank. You can do the same with the mamoths.

Along the way, you may have noticed you can buy Daedra Hearts at alchemists shops. i Usuallly go to whiterun and talk to the alchemist in the area with belthedor or the inn. talk to the girl and look for the daedra heart. if you cannot find it, save, kill her, load and try again. when you have enough daedra hearts, make as many pieces of the armor as you can if you are in need of gold. if you have a house with the manniquins, press A and a folder will pop up asking what you want to give to the manniquin. give him the armor and take it back without backing out of the folder. if you have the heavy armor upgrade that allows you to carry as much of the same piece of armor, you can hold as much of the same armor as you want without increasing your carry weight. when you sell the armor, make sure they have their maximum cash or buy something till he or she has as much money as the item. if they dont have anymore money, save, kill him or her, load and continue. hope this helps!!!
If you find a kettle, place it on the ground in front of you. Jump into the top and the kettle will jiggle around and make clanking noises. A few seconds later it will go flying away from under your feet, and you may lose a little bit of health. But you will be in the jump animation on the ground! Unfortunately this is not permanent and will wear off in about 5-10 seconds. You can glide around about an inch off the ground while flapping your arms a bit. A risk with this, though, is that if you're in Solitude you might just glitch through the ground, fall off the land bridge and die of fall damage. And in Riften if you do this in the market you can glitch through the floor and end up in the Ratway entrance tunnel. It definitely works with a kettle, I haven't tried it with a bucket. I'd recommend saving first in case you end up falling into places you don't want to go.
Upon the completion of Save: Winterhold during the completion of the College of Winterhold, you will be asked to defeat the ice ghosts the invade and threat the town. After killing them their "ghostly remains" will continue to stay where they were killed; whether that be in the air or on the ground. The remains are unable to be moved or erased.

This is a really cool glitch. If you go to Dawnstar, find IronBreaker Mine. when you're standing in front of the mine, look to the left. There should be some rocks and a tree. Look between some of the rocks and toward the ground. Between two rocks, the message "Open Chest" will appear. Inside the chest is a variety of goods. Armors, weapons, potions, etc. The goods in the chest correspond with the inventory of the Khajit merchant just outside of Dawnstar.
This is the good part, if you sell something to that merchant and then go back to the chest, you can retrieve the item yo u just sold FOR FREE! This could be a possible duplication glitch, however I've yet to test that bit myself. But I have tested whether you can retrieve goods you sold to the merchant.
If you're not interested in all the items you find in the chest, worry not, there is a way to refill it with different goods. Just wait 2 days or so and the merchant's inventory should be re-stocked with new items. New items for the chest.
If anyone finds out anything new about this interesting little chest that hates to show its face then feel free to inform me. I'll post anything new that I find.
Go inside a merchants building. Buy and/or sell. Quick save your game (F5). Kill the merchant. Quick load your game (F9). Not only has their gold returned but their stock has changed. Rinse and repeat.
Give Radiant Raiment my best.
Alright I'm already back to tell about another cool secret of Skyrim. I just finished posting my info about the Dawnstar Invisi-chest, that's a cool thing to check out.
So on with this glitch, I found something very interesting. If you go to the Throat Of The World location where you find Parthanaax, start to climb the rest of the mountain. Once you get to the very top you will come to a small patch ot flat ground just under the tip of the mountain. On the flat you will find a malachite vein, 2 ebony veins, and... a pickaxe wedged into the wall of the mountain???
I wonder how that got there. After a few whacks at the mysterious relic with no success, I turned my attention from it and mined the ore. After I finished, I looked back to see the precious pickaxe had un-wedged itself and fallen to the ground.
I approached it and found it to be known as the "Notched Pickaxe". It's an enchanted pickaxe. The enchantment strengthens smithing ability somehow. I'm not 100% sure how it works but it's certainly something to put in my display case.
Travel to Winterhold (carriage, horse, foot, fast travel, whatever). This might take a while.
Once there, continue down the road until you see an opening to your right. Travel up the hill and keep heading straight until you reach Sightless Pit, which is a bit to your left. Don't go inside, walk around it and climb up the rocks. You should see an altar.
On the altar is a skeleton and a book called "The Doors to Oblivion". Don't pick it up. Leaning against the altar are boots and a shield. Pick those up.
This should wake up the skeletons around you. Remember the one on the altar though.
After killing them return to that one skeleton and open up his inventory. Inside should be the book from before. Exit his inventory and then take a look at it again. There's now two copies of the book. Every time you open the skeleton's inventory, another copy of the book is added, therefore you have an unlimited supply of books, each 50 gold.
You can sell them, and/ or read one because it's a skill book for conjuration. It's best to have a follower with you to help carry more books. Remember where the skeleton is though so you can find him again.
Note: On your map, Sightless Pit is quite a ways below Winterhold. It's below Azura's shrine to the southwest. Notice the distance between Winterhold and Azura's shrine; the distance between Winterhold and Sightless Pit is twice that. Hope this helps finding the place a little easier.

First, go to the gates to Whiterun. Face the gates, and go to the small room to the left of them. There is a barrel. Jump on the barrel and try to jump from there to the space between the wall and the roof (easier if you go towards the wall facing the gates). Once you get through, stay on the same side of the gates and walk around the city going away from the gates. If you hang around close to the wall, you will eventually see a patch of ground where toy can see through it. Just go past that. The second one you can see through is the one you want. Turn around and go up the small hill over that large see through area (you can walk on it). Walk up the hill, hugging the wall until you go through the wall and rock into an open area under the city. Go towards the underside of the Skyforge. There is a chest. Loom in the chest and take all the weapons and armor you want. And crafting supplies. When you want to leave, just walk towards the stairs going to the town square (the place with the big tree).
Just got the damn chest finally, you know the one where you go under windhelm and see 3 chests but cant get the smiths one with your companion lol, well i got it,just fast travel to windhelm, then go left towards the bloke chopping wood,to the right of him a flaming thing go to the left of the flaming thing against the wall next to the steps, the steps on your left now the fire on your right, get a wooden plate hold it up against the wall then run you'll go through it then jump a little to gain a bit of hight turn left you will see the chest, then point to it whirlwind sprint at it while pressing A rapidly open says me done......finally. Thanks to Unknown Warrior for the wooden plate glitch.
