If your having trouble with ammo and herbs. I found that after a start of a level or a check point, you can pick up items to build up your supplies and then quit the game. Progress will be lost, but any item you picked will be in your inventory. This work well for Veteran, since you do not get a lot of ammo.

An easy way to get money is to simply play through 4-1 on Amateur (killing the boss at the end). If you get all of the jewels, you'll get around 45K from selling all of the treasures. It's not a hard chapter, and it's not that long either.

Note: MUST BE CHRIS FOR THIS TO WORK!

On the last part of the last level (the volcano part...) save it and quit it... then go back in and get a rocket launcher from the organise screen...
Then go into the level... when Chris and Sheva get separated, go to the very center and wait until Wesker shows his weak spot... then shoot him with the RPG. This should skip the whole fight, including the climbing up part with Sheva. This will take you to the last combo-cutscene.

Note: Also works on the B.O.W. at the furnace part.

This strategy requires a Stun Rod; After stumbling an enemy approach the enemy then execute a combat move; right after quickly equip the stun rod, if you are close enough it will knock the enemy back dead on its face when struck by it; or the enemy will just stagger for another melee attack.

If your weapon capacity upgrade is still available; at anytime before the game ends or if you decide to quit the game, do not reload the weapon; this goes for all upgradable weapons in your inventory; at the item management screen; select the weapon you wish to upgrade its ammo capacity; while the capacity has been increased your weapon also has a full clip, this way you can gain extra ammo.

Before you get over-excited, you must have completed the game at least once to unlock the 'Infinite Ammo' option. If you have completed the game, and you are selection the option to be on and you find it not working - don't worry. It's not your game, or Xbox or just you. What you now have to do to unlock infinite ammo for each weapon is, upgrade each one 100%. It'll cost you a lot of money, but it's okay. Just use the chapter 3-1 glitch, or chapter 5-3 glitch for all of the money/treasure. Once you've upgraded your weapon of choice, you will then unlock the gun in Bonus Features. If you scroll down a bit, you will notice a new feature unlocked. That of course, is your infinite gun. Once you buy it with enough points (it costs quite a lot of points, but you should have enough if you've completed the game), go into Special Settings and then Infinite Ammo. Turn it on, and you will see the gun that you have unlocked. Play the story mode and voila! Your infinite gun awaits you.

Also, if you're wondering how to get the infinite rocket launcher, you must complete the story mode in under 5 hours. There is no other way to unlock it unfortunately. So get them infinite guns and complete the game as quick as you can!

when you start a game get another player in the game making it a 2player. give all ur amo to the other player then save the player2s stuff but not the player1s stuff then end the game and start a new one and do the same make it a 2player game . u will c that all the stuff u gave to the other player is there but not urs . now give the player2s stuff back to the player1 and save the player1s stuff but not the player2s then make a game (2playergame) it will go to the buy sell page go to organize and u will c that both players will have the same thing do it as many times as u want

If you know where all the jewels are on this level then this is easy for you just go on chapter 2-1 and beat it while getting all the jewels and money when you are done you should have around 25k <img src="http://i.neoseeker.com/d/icons/animesmile.gif" border=0 vspace=2 alt="" /> enjoy!

RE5 lets you replay chapters in case you run out of ammo/money, which is helpful. It saves even if you don't play through the whole chapter, though, so you can actually pick up whatever's at the beginning of a chapter without firing a single shot. I would recommend chapter 5.3 because it has a bunch of machine gun ammo, about 8 boxes and a sapphire worth $3,000. Enjoy!

Are you having trouble keeping money on Resident Evil? Finding it hard to buy and upgrade weapons? Well you no longer need to worry. All you need for this glitch is to have chapter 3-1 completed in the story mode.

Firstly go to 'Chapter Select' or whatever it may say. Pick chapter 3-1 and let it load up. Begin the chapter as you normally would by going across the boat to each section. Collect all of the treasure that you can. Before you progress to the next part and right after you have all the treasure you need. I know what you're thinking; "that's silly, I'll lose all my treasure then". But no! You won't! If you quit out, and then go to continue again (where you start the mission again), you will see yourself collecting the treasure once again, but you'll also notice that you still have the treasure from the previous time. Do this as many times as you like or need. Once you're happy with your amount, sell your treasure and rack up the money to buy and upgrade weapons.

Handy eh?

There is a glitch/exploit in the game that allows you to get the same treasure over and over without having to do anything. It can be done anywhere, but I'm outlining a specific place where you can get an exceptionally large amount of money with exceptionally little effort.
First, you'll need to have an infinite ammo gun, and it should preferably be a powerful one (I use the Deagle or the L.Hawk or whatever cheap rip-off name they gave it). Play the chapter 5-3 (the chapter in which you fight Jill and a bunch of Lickitungs). Play all the way through until you get to the Jill/Wesker fight, picking up any treaasure along the way (there's a fair amount with at least 2 Power Stones, a Royal Necklace, and some brilliant-cut gems).
When you get to the Jill/Wesker fight, you must "defeat" Wesker. You can't kill him, but hurt him enough and he'll run off before his 7 minutes are up. Look up an FAQ if you don't know how, but beating him is why you'll need your strong weapon with infinite ammo. There is a tomb with a Deagle and two Oval-cut gems, and nearby is a pot with a Brilliant-cut sapphire. Pick these up before you beat Wesker.
When you do beat him, you will have to fight Jill. When the battle starts, go down the stairs and retrieve the Heart of Africa between the staircases. It's the most valuable treasure in the game at N10,000. When you pick it up, press Quit and when it asks you to save your inventory, be SURE to press A for 'Yes.' You will still have all your gems, but you can choose 'Continue' to restart the Wesker fight with all the gems intact! It takes a little bit to beat Wesker, but it's definitely worth it, as you can reload and earn N17,000 worth of goodies each time!
NOTE: You MUST defeat Wesker in order to spawn the Heart of Africa. If you wait for him to leave, it won't show up.

for some it is hard to get a rotten egg but i suggest you keep ahold of one was you get it. best thing to do is the item duplication. two players go into game. one gives all items to other player and doesnt save while the player that gets all the items saves. i am sure lots have done this.

if you can get the egg and duplicate it enough to be able to carry 45. and this doesnt take very long, always hold onto 45 so you dont have to repeat. but it doesnt take very long for you to trade over 45 at a time. this will net you 90,000 money in one go. you wont have to go through any levels and hunt for treasures bc you get rotten egg lots of times on 3-1.
