Gears of War 2 Cheats & Tips

On day one, there are 2 sniper platforms where you have to walk up stairs to get to, each with cycling weapons. One has a mortar and hammer of dawn, and the other has a sniper / torque bow. If you set a Boomshield where the path curves round to the sniper spawns, the Boomers and Grinders get stuck. the only enemies which can get past are the Drones, which aren't very common in the higher levels. even if the shield fails, he Boomers cant climb over the barricade which leads to another area. this got me to level 38 in the horde without dieing once.

This is a tip for the Achievement where you have to kill 25 bloodmounts with a scorcher. First you could do this on private xbox live by selecting wave 10 and picking the map "Highway" because there is a scorcher in this level. so firt to make it easy just kill the Locust who are riding them grab the flamethrower and just roast them and if you complete the wave you could just start the wave over again because as long as you kill them the achievement will keep count on how many you've killed.

When fighting the horde there is always a "laser room", A room with laser walls, Hole up in there and you've got a fighting chance at harder "Hordes" GOOD HUNTING!!!

This glitch was supposed to be kept a secret between me and my friend but since this glitch hasn't been spread yet i'll tell you this is a really old glitch. Okay first of all in horde pick wave 10 on Gridlock then get a boom shield and place it on the stairs after when you see a bloodmount kill the locust that's riding him but don't kill the bloodmount instead let him live just mantle over the shield and you should land on his back. Once your on him he will start to run around with you on him theres no way to get off of him you can't even shoot him so you'll just have to throw a grenade it won't kill you but you'll be downed but not out, or have a teammate shoot him and that's it i don't know if this glitch was fixed by the fourth title update but you can still try it.

First play a multiplayer game but use bot players then be on the Locust side choose Scorge and pick the map Jacinto, then just play around until someone throws a smoke frag and you will suddenly just fly up higher then anyone but beware you'll die from falling from that hieght so try to avoid smokes.

(This glitch was preformed in Gridlock However, It can be preformed on any structure that allows you to hop over it.)

Get up Against This 'Half Wall-like' structure on Gridlock
Turn the camera so it is facing down over you, And face you'r player towards the water.
Using you'r left thumbstick, Push up and down quickly And then press A Directley after.
If done correctly, You will begin to 'Moon-Walk' Backwards.
When in the 'moon-walk', Push down with you'r left stick and hold A+B
you will do a flip.
To get out of the rooftops of Gridlock just step onto the car at the res-pawn area and follow it down.
Or you can just get killed or leave the match.

when your at the stairs where you pick either stairs or lift don't pull the leaver go down the stairs then you look to the left and a eye will be there

During act four you will receive the objective "Make your way down to the Palace." Once you get this you will come to a small area willed with ammo, which Cole will refer to as "Juice". There will be a small cube which can be blasted open, Inside is a silver toaster, activating it will start some pretty funny dialogue.
