This is one of the toughest DC challenges in the game. Obtaining a platinum on this challenge even gives you the achievement Cool Running.

The trick to getting a platinum medal on this course starts on the downhill segment of the course. This part is toward the beginning of the course, right after that first hard left turn. It ends at the right U-turn that is present after you cross under the bridge. This entire segment you must not slow down, meaning you should be holding the acceleration down the entire time you are driving downhill. Although the path is a little curvy, you still have enough room and grip to zoom right through this downhill part without losing control. Obviously be sure to pay attention so you don't hit the snow curb. You should start slowing down right after you cross under the bridge so that you don't lose control at the U-turn.

Every turn on this challenge needs to be taken on the inner-most corner as possible to help get a better time. Be sure to slow down a little before every turn to reduce the amount of time your tire spends spinning in one spot.

I found that the most cautious you are, like slowing down during the downhill part, will prevent you from reaching under 57 seconds (time needed for platinum). Practice more so that you know the course like the
back of your hand and try and hold down the acceleration for as long as possible. This is how I achieved a time of 56.712.

I hate this challenge. To be honest it was the last challenge I needed platinum for to get the Platinum Performance achievement.

Approach the first donut going into it counter-clockwise. Approach the spin under the crane clockwise, move right along into smashing the objects, then smoothly do a little drift underneath the next crane. It doesn't need to be a big drift, just a nice little quick one that's good enough to count as a drift but more importantly one that lets you fly right through it. Now pay attention to this part cause this will save you time. Obviously straighten yourself out for the jump, and after completing it you must do a donut around a stack of tires. If you approach this donut right, you should only have to go around it once (versus twice - this saves a bunch of time). I approached the donut going into it counter-clockwise. If you tap the e-brake before you are actually at the donut - enough to get your car sideways and started on the donut - just stay as close to the center of the donut as possible and you should get the max donut points needed to move on to the next set of tricks. Again, you only need to go around this stack of tires about 85% to 1 full donut and if done right, you can move on.

Then moving right along, you smash through two sets of blocks and have to do a right u-turn drift. Drift through this as fast as possible but watch out for the annoying pipe in the middle of the turn. Just drift as close to it as possible then floor the car to the next trick, smashing into the blocks. After that is one more donut. Approach this donut going into it counter-clockwise, and as mentioned in the previous paragraph, be as close to the center of the donut as possible and you will only need to around about 85% of this support beam so that you can move right along, flooring the car until you hit the finish line.

I normally score between 450,000 to 600,000 points for every Gymkhana event that I do. I normally win online with these kind of scores and these are the general tips that I follow:

First find a car you're comfortable with. Of course any and all of them are just fine but my own personal pick is the Ford Fiesta or for DLC, I would recommend the Saturn Sky.

Now as far as actually driving, keep these things in mind.

It is essential that you don't hit ANYTHING. If you do in first player, use a flashback. If you do in multiplayer, just recover and move on as fast as you can. The more you hit things, the more it takes away from your bonus multiplier. In order to score high you need this bonus to be as high as possible throughout the entire event. (The highest it gets is 3)

String together moves so that the bonus multiplier increases. The longer you go without doing a move, it will decrease. You need to be fast in going from move to move - this is what keeps the points building up.

Smashing objects: DON'T smash the blocks right away. It is better to wait until your bonus multiplier is at 2 or more preferably, 3, and that's when you should go smash all the objects. Doing this will earn you WAY more points for the event. Why? Because smashing into 3 yellow blocks right away will earn you 9000 points. If you wait until your bonus multiplier is at 3, smashing into the same blocks will earn you 27,000 points.

When you get to certain tier levels, you unlock something new. Here are some things you can unlock:

When playing online, there is a circle next to your gamertag that changes colors. Here are the colors and what they mean:

Green: A green circle signifies that you are a clean racer; meaning you race the majority of the time without running into other players and scenery.

Yellow: A yellow circle is about average; you race as clean as you can but still come into contact with other drivers/scenery from time to time.

Red: A red circle signifies a dirty racer; someone who constantly wrecks into other drivers/scenery. These are drivers you may want to avoid.
