ok use this only in lost levels when you jump for a mushroom then it stops when you get it hold the X And a and hold right to jump another

In Super Mario Bros. World 3 level 1. When you are almost at the end where the steps are, the last block you're standing on when you jump to the steps [it's better if you big with fire power] as you're jumping you shoot the first duck and you need to land on the first step, wait when the second duck just starts off the third step jump straight up, don't do anything else. If you did it right mario will keep jumping by himself kicking the duck giving you extra lives the highest you can get is 128 lives. I wait until I have 20 or 30 seconds left then push jump and forward to kick the duck off and then finish.

In the first world, go to the third level and enter it. Go down a bit and you will come across a large grey thing in the background. Get on top of it and hold down the down button for a few seconds. You will appear to go through it and appear behind it. Now go right to the end. Note if the enemy touches you, you will still die or loose your powerup and you will have to do this again. When you go to the end you will go behind the save bit, and will see a chest. Get the chest and in it will be a flute
after that press start button and press save and quit the play again same level you can get how many you want if you do it over and over and over again. QeDDa

If you find yourself in a tight spot where you are basically stuck and have no way of getting out (in Super Mario Brothers 2), pause the game, press and hold L and R, then press select. If done correctly, your character will die, and you will start back from your last checkpoint.

Note: This will kill your character, so only use it when it is impossible for you to get out of a situation otherwise.

To have fireworks fire off at the end of a level in Super Mario Brothers (1), finish the level (by touching the flagpole) when the first (ones) digit on the timer is on 1, 3, or 6. Upon beating the level, several fireworks will fire off into the sky, each one rewarding you with bonus points.

To reset the game after getting Game Over, at the Game Over Screen (in Super Mario Brothers) press and hold A+B at the same time and then press start. If done correctly, the game will restart.

Warp to Worlds 2,3, or 4 - At the end of level 1-2, where the last few platforms are moving, jump on them and keep jumping upwards, then jump towards the platform near the top of the screen on the right. Jump across to another platform (you should be above the pipe that would normally take you to the end of the level know), and run across until you reach the warp zone.

Warp to World 5 - Get to the top of the ceiling in 4-2, and run past the top of the ending pipe that would normally take you to the end of the level, and keep going until you reach the warp zone.

Warp to World 6, 7, or 8 - In 4-2, go past the first set of platforms going down to 3 seemingly unreachable blocks. Uncover the first two blocks by jumping up where they should be (by the rightmost and center bricks). Hit where the third one should be (by the leftmost brick) and a vine will appear that leads you upwards. Go right until you reach the warp zone.

To get to the worlds after World 8 (Worlds 9, 10, 11, 12, A, B, C, and D), beat the game through World 8 Level 4 without using warp zones. You will be able to go to World 9 after completing 8-4 if they are not used.

Flute No. 1

Flute No. 2
On the first castle in the first world you should come to a door with a prize box and a turtle. You will need a Mario which can fly. If you don't have him then hit the prize box and get the fether Note: You will have to be a "Grown Mario" to get it, hit the tutrle and fly up beside the wall until you hit an opening go in and hit the box and get flute.

Now that you have two of these flutes, you can instantly get to the 8th world. First use one, and you will come to a world select screen, now use the second one (without choosing a world) and you will get the 8th world.

There is also a third Flute which you can get by doing this:
The 3rd is in the second world, get a hammer and then break the stone at the end of the screen in the upper right corner, move past the towrd and then kill the two lava brothers, a chest will appear with the 3rd flute in it.
