To listen to alternate music at the title screen, click on the letter I or O in the word Mario. A different music selection will play.
It is possible to confuse the robot that saves your game and cause him to blow smoke from his ears. First, fill the drawing area with as many random colors as possible (multi-colored stamps work best). Also, do the same thing for the 4x4 animation stamps and create a completely full random path. Lastly, head over to the music composer and fill it completely with random notes. Each column should have three notes in it. Then try to save your masterpiece. The robot will count slowly from 99 to 0, then give up.
Head over to the Background Select area and wait for a litle while. The Undo Dog will get bored and start running around doing flips across the bottom of the screen. The stamp monster at the top will start dancing and jumping as well.
To alter Mario's size on the title screen (to make him bigger/smaller), click on the M in the word Mario. Upon doing so, Mario's size will change.
To gain the ability to color the title screen, click on the T in the word Paint on the title screen. If done correctly, you will be able to color over the title screen.

First, activate the developer credit roll from the title screen (see "View Game Credits"). When "Programmer: Noriaki Teramoto" appears in the credit, hold down the right button on the SNES mouse and click the letter "N" (in MARIO PAINT) again using the left mouse button. This will allow you to use the right mouse button as well until you reboot/shut off the game.
At the main title screen, click the 'A' so that it will hit Mario as it falls. Mario will fall off the screen with it.
