To get alternate uniforms choose Anaheim, Boston, Chicago, Tampa Bay, or the New York Rangers as a visiting team. Select the "Start Game" option on the setup screen and hold Right + Square until game play begins. The players from those visiting teams will be wearing their third jerseys.

To get a randomly created team select exhibition or practice mode. Press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 at the team selection screen.
