Cheat codes
You can activate the following cheats by entering the code as your name in the name entry screen.

Tip: Because a code is activated through use of the name entry, you can only enter one code per game.... but you can actually do more! You can enter multiple codes by exiting the name entry screen after entering your code. You can then go back to the name entry screen, delete the last name, and enter another code. You can keep doing this until you have activated all the cheats you want.

Taxi
If you steal a taxi, you can pick up people, and drive around to make $5 per second. The trick is try to get them in the taxi, but if you're patient it works. Once you drive recklessly or once the cops start after you, the money stops.

bstard	enter as player name to get all weapons, ammunition, locations, and health.
enter L1, L2, or R1 on controller 2	toggles gang popularity, each button is different gang.

Tips

Fly

Select the grenade as your weapon, go to a high point in the level as long as you got enough room to jump, JUMP and rapidly press the fire button as you are in mid-air. Now you should be floating as long as you rapidly press the fire button. But you might wanna find somewhere to land...

Cheats

[ Tip ] Making Money

One way to make money easily takes a long time but requires little effort. First grab a taxi and do a job that you can get some help (assistance from a gang where they go with you in cars and follow you). Go to a vacant area and just sit there, unlike with regular proper they won't exit the taxi if it remains parked.

You can turn the VCR off and leave your game for an hour or so. When you come back you will have some extra cash.

Get off of wanted list

to do this commit a crime, if the top of the screen displays a police man's head start to run in a place where police will not see you, then stay there till the police man's head goes away. This will not work if the police are chasing you.
