When in the tower if you have a Holy scroll, instead of using it to protect yourself you can throw it at an enemy monster and, for some insane reason, it will follow you around like a familiar. This is very useful if you run out of familiars and don't want to leave. The monster won't follow you between floors though, and doesn't share experience from anything it kills.
It doesn't appear in your menu and won't attack you even if you attack it, easy kill . Your monster may attack it though, so be careful.

For this trick,you will require:
Clown or Death monster(Preferably Death,of course)
Battnel level 20
2 Big Pita Fruits
1 Wind crystal

Step 1.Take the two monsters to the 1st floor of the tower.
Step 2.Now take them both out,and line the two up so that Death is able to fire a spell at Battnel.Set their AI to 1 so that they dont walk in any other direction.
Step 3.Have Death fire LoDown at your Battnel until it reaches level 1(if Death runs out of mp,then you must feed it the Big Pita Fruit.)
Step 4.Once the Battnel reaches level 1,set the AI back to normal again,and use the Wind Crystal to escape.
Step 5.Go to the Monster Hut and take a look at your Battnels status.
Step 6.Rejoice,dance,do whatever happy you want since hp,defense and attack reached 250!

Dont worry about the mp,if you feed Battnel a herb,it will regain 50 mp.

Before leaving for the Tower be sure to tell your mother you're leaving. In return for your courtesy she'll provide you with a much-needed Pita Fruit.

First you need a Medicinal Herb. Use it on your Familiar when its at HP is full and its HP will increase by one! Medicinal Herbs can be purchased at the Blacksmith's shop for 20G.

When your Familiar is at full MP, use a Pita Fruit on it and its MP will increase by one. You can get free Pita Fruits from your mother before you go to the tower.

1. Go to Nico's house and talk to Cheryl's father. Nico will then enter the house.

2. Go to the hospital and talk to the doctor. Say the place isn't that bad.

3. Go to the tower. Come back with the wind crystal. Sell off any new possesions, because you'll need 4000 gold.

4. Return to the hospital and the doctor will ask if you are there to donate for a new hospital. Say you are. Give him the money.

5. Go to the tower again. Return with the wind crystal.

6. Revisit the hospital again and talk to the doctor. He'll thank you.

7. Go to the tower.

8. Upon your return, in the house just north of the hospital, you should see a blond girl looking out the window. Talk to her. You'll frighten her and she'll drop her doll. Pick it up and give it to her.

Mia Myria

Keep talking to the old man who collects books on the east side of town. His collection of books will soon outgrow his house. He will ask you to build him a library. Do so, then visit it periodically to see Mia Myria.

Nico

Simply help build the town up and donate money for the fountain she wants to build.

1. Go to the store often, preferably every time you come back from the tower.

2. Every time Fur says something try to be as polite as possible.

3. Buy her some gifts.

4. At some point your arch rival will be talking to her and he will annoy her. Now she is ready for you!

1. Wait until Ghosh is a regular at the restaurant. When he is always sitting at the table, then you can start ordering.

2. Order everything on the menu, one at a time and don't forget to pay.

3. Tell Ghosh to shut up everytime you go in, and remark to him when he talks about your choices on the menu. After you order everything on the menu, go to the tower one more time. When you return you can go to the restaurant and find it to be closed, but Patty is there by herself. She will ask you to sit down and fix you something.

4. Ask for her specialty, the prawns. There will be another conversation and she will greet you after you go to the tower again the next time you visit the restaurant. When Ghosh asks what's going on, Patty will say it's our little secret.

5. Agree with Patty. Ghosh will get so mad that he will leave the restaurant without paying. The next time you visit the restaurant, again after visiting the tower first, Patty will have an argument with Ghosh, stick up for you if you decided not to pay any time, and kick him out.

1. Talk to Madame from the bar, frequently.

2. Make your way up to the tower to the 25th floor. There you should be able to find a blue cape.

3. Take this cape back to her. She'll cry and close the bar. Convince her life is worth living, so she'll re-open the bar.

4. Once you convince her that it's OK she'll re-open the bar. The next time you go in there Vivian will be dancing on the small stage.

1. Talk to her every time you come back from the tower without dying.

2. At level 2 if you see her and is being attacked by a little green monster you must kill it for her. When you get back she'll be confused why you saved her.

3. When you get to level 2 you'll be attacked by a monster and then she'll save you.

4.When you get back talk to her and she will ask "Why did I save you?" and you must answer "Because you like me." She won't believe you and forgets about it.

5. Go into the dungeon and come back out with a wind crystal. Talk to Selphie and she will ask the same question. You must answer the same as before and she will say "Oh wow, I do!"

Need to get rid of a pesky monster before it attacks? Throw one of your items at him. Magic items will generate whatever effect the would on you, leading to some interesting possibilities. For example, if you thrown an Olean (the blue fruit) at a monster it will vanish instantly.

Stand in any corner and repeatedly press Triangle and Circle simultaneously.

To aquire a sword that won't rust; get a gold sword, take it to the tower and use four red sands on it. Make sure you also have a stronger weapon with you until your gold sword is more powerful.

If your monster steps on a warp trap just move on to it and press 'foot' in the menu and click step and you will be warped to the same spot.
