Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon Cheats & Tips

Don't talk to Hunter and go down the big slope and make sure you can easily reach a blue star. Stand in front of the star and wait till it zaps you. When it zaps you over a 100 times go back and race and make sure than you don't fall over the edge. When you are on the board you will go a lot faster.

To defeat buzz repeatedly charge him until he falls in the lava then escape his spin and do the same again

On any skateboard level, when flying through the air, do a full back flip, followed by half a back flip and rotate in any direction (if you did this correctly you should be facing the opposite way)
Doing this trick, the game will award you with 2550points (50 for the first backflip and 2500 for the GNASTY GNORK)!!!

ok, when you have ta chase an egg theif, dont be scared to use your fire breath. It is quite effective.

when your versing the sorceress, get onto one of the spaceships. Get down low on the ground (not touching it)and then just fly up. start shooting all over the place while going up, and you will end up popping more ballons.

Every tenth butterfly thing Sparx eats will be an extra live; so, if you get a little short, run around Midday Gardens flaming bunny rabbits.

They had it coming.

Beat the 3rd Sparx Challenge and then anywhere you go, hold R1, R2, L1, and L2 in at the same time. Sparx will point to any gems remaining in the level.

In Spooky Swamp, go into the the fourth lantern. Fly onto the steps then onto the trees, fly to the last tree and you can fly over the trees without paying moneybags!!!

First off you have to get into the super bonus round and get all the thieves to get 16100 treasure.You only need 16000 to open the first round.In the 16000 door you will find sink the subs 3 but for treasure instead of eggs.When you have 7/7 subs dead then you will have 17000 gems.You can go to round 2 which is opposite round 1.3 words for this section are:THIS IS HARD!
Those Sasquatch six are a bunch of idiots on snow disks.They may not have half a brain cell to rub together but they are hard to beat first time.When you win you will have 18500 treasure.Go to round 3 and walk through the power up. Shoot down all all of those pesky little blighters and collect any remaining treasure to go into round four. The sorceress in waiting on a U.F.O in here so shoot here down to get the egg! In spooky swamp if you go into the shila portal you notice their's a tresure worth 25 carrots. To get that piece of treasure, right by the 2nd scientist, let shila kick the wall and that will be the secret entrance.

In mushroom speedway, go backwards from the rings. It's the first fat mushroom on the left. Go in front and talk to Hunter.

Mushroom Speedway: Look around a mushroom near the dandelions and spiders.

Country Speedway: Look inside the house.

Honey Speedway: Hiding around a huge rock.

Harbor Speedway: Inside the lighthouse.

Skate like a god achieve 20,000 points on the second skate park!!!

First you must beat cheetah in a one on one this is easy as he never gets 4,000 points plus so to beat him you can you the stunts below or use your own.

The big stunts 1,000 points at a time!

One good stunt is the crush or the gulp if you haven’t devalued the single, double or triple roles then when you make the fourth role you will score 1,100 in addition a fifth role will get a big gulp or an orange crush worth 2,000 on its own!

The triple towers and half pipe leap score 1,000 each and if you do the triple towers and jump at the end you can curve right and land on the end of the half pipe leap and it will count as a proper half pipe leap if you do this twice you will score 3,000.

The nastly gnork (I can’t spell it properly) is worth 2,500 on its own. To pull this of you must go to the big ramp (you can do it else where but on the big ramp is easiest) at the bottom of it don’t press X unless you are pulling a gulp or a crush. At the bottom hold triangle and do a single back flip and then role left once you must be diagonal or the role left might not register properly.

The best is yet to come if you have enough time after the nastly gnork role right twice more and get 3,000 for a raging ripto on its own!!! How ever it is solid to do and requires lots of tries.



My method…

First once you beat cheetah you must get on a board the press start and give up now you are standing where you need to be. Remember you must not wipe out if you do give up and try again but if you have high points when you fall say 7,000 you can just top it of with your own skill you don’t need to restart.

First do the t towers and half pipe leap trick when you land turn so that you go into the blue crater then go out pulling a double back flip and go up the orange ramp press X at the ramps end and do a 2X forward flip. Land and skate to the top and head down the big ramp press X at the bottom and pull X5 flip right land and go to the top of the ramp again you should have 5,450 points. Then turn around jump as necessary to go to the bottom and press X to flip right X4. Go to the top again go down again and flip left X5 up and down again to flip left X4 up and down again now pull the g gnork + r ripto trick. Land and do the t towers half pipe leap trick again now it, doesn’t matter now if you fall of the board, and pull roles and flips in the blue crater till you time up.

Pulled right you should have 17,000 at least I got 19,133 doing this!!!

To get high on the enchanted towers skate park , first do the triple towers and while falling do a do a gnasty gnorc by flipping once then do a twisted lemon/lime and go to the half pipe and do a gulp and crush a big gulp and an orange crush for over 4,000 points and go to half-pipe leap and do a gnasty gnorc while in the air for more points and by now you will already have loads of points. Go to the giant ramp and do a raging ripto by doing a quad front flip/back flip and a toasty twist or dr. shemp and you will get the points from the to do a dr.shemp roll left four times same with toasty twist except right intead of left. Then do a few regular flips and spins and rolls on the giant ramp and a few raging riptos and gnasty gnorcs and go back to the half-pipe and do more stunts there and to triple tower/half-pipe leap and stuff like that and a quad back flip/front flip and by the time time runs out you will have a good 25,000 points or more.

Here do all sorts off stunts on the big ramp until they're not worth much at all then do spins and stuff on the half-pipe and gulps, crushes, big gulps and orange crushes do triple towers and half-pipe leap and triple towers a few times and do gnasty gnorcs and raging riptos and cool moves that give you a lot of points.

#1. Sunny Villa: Flame all trees-Easy. Easy. Easy. Just flame all of the trees in the level(there are quite a few of them) and get it.
#2. Sunny Villa: Beat skateboard course record I-Still easy. After you complete both of the lizard challenges, get over 3,200 points in less than 3 minutes. I pulled a Gnasty Gnorc off the monster ramp. Then I did other good tricks and got this.
#3. Molten Crater: Assemble tiki heads-In the Sgt. Byrd area, instead of putting the heads on their bodies, put them in this form on the platform you begin on:

#4. Molten Crater: Supercharge the wall-The easiest point in the game. In the area where you pay Moneybags to open, there is a red wall. Charge it, or even flame it to get it.
#5. Seashell Shore: Catch the funky chicken-Near the end of the level, there is a chicken that runs around the entire room. Kill it.
#6. Icy Peak: Glide to pedestal-Simply land on the pedestal where the red thief stood. To do this, use the whirlwind to get on a platform. You can glide to the pedestal with ease from here.
#7. Enchanted Towers: Skateboard course record II-Follow #2. This time get 10,000 points. Try to pull off Raging Riptos, Big Gulps, Orange Crushes, Gnarly Gnorcs, Twisted Limes, Twisted Lemons, ect. and you'll get this easily.
#8. Spooky Swamp: All pirahna signs-Destroy all the signs warning you of the dangers of the water.
#9. Sgt. Byrd's Base: Bomb the gophers-Kill all of the gophers around the level. Pretty tough.
#10. Frozen Altars: Beat yeti in 2 rounds-After you get the first egg in boxing, instead of going through all 3 rounds, defeat him in 2. (also, check out your new Epilouge now that you have 10 skill points)
#11. Lost Fleet: Skateboard record time-After completing both of the racing challenges, do 3 laps in less than 1:45:00.
#12. Fireworks Factory: Find Agent 9's powerup-After getting the "You're Doomed!" egg, on the celing of 1 of the rooms is a red box. Shoot it.
#13. Charmed Ridge: The impossible tower-From a high point, glide to a tower in the distance.
#14. Charmed Ridge: Shoot temple windows-In the Sgt. Byrd area, shoot all 4 stained glass windows.
#15. Bentley's Outpost: Push box off cliff-Push the box that you move out of Barthelomew's way off of the cliff.
#16. Desert Ruins: Destroy all seaweed-When using Hunter's Manta Ray, simply do as the title says.
#17. Haunted Tomb: Swim into dark hole-Near the beginning of the level is some water. In the water is a hole. You know what to do...
#18. Dino Mines: Hit all seahorses-The toughest one in the game. In the place where you get the "Shafted!" egg, charge all of the seahorses.
#19. Dino Mines: Hit the secret dino-In the Agent 9 part, where there are 3 green dinos, there is one that walks behind them. The easiest way to kill it is to kill the dino on the left and then kill the secret one.
#20. Agent 9's Lab: Blow up all palm trees-Use the bombs and throw them at the trees.(now, look at your Epilouge. It should be longer since you have all 20 skill points!)

After you've completed Sparx's last level, sparkz will be able to take you to different levels. press pause, then go to atlas, then on any level just press [] and it will take you to that level.

To get 200 eggs, beat the game on all 3 files with 117%

Okay, pause the game and press L1, L2, R1, R2, up, up, up, up, circle.

If that doesn't work, just try it without pausing the game.

press start and then O,R1,O,L1,O,R2,O,L2,O

After completing all of the Sparx challenges, press up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, square, down, circle and you will go to the bonus level.

You can change Spyro's shape by making him have a big head (Big Head Mode) or by making him have a 2D body (Flat Mode). Pause the game and bress the following buttons to activate the corresponding effect:

Big Head Mode - Up, R1, Up, R1, Up, R1, Circle, Circle, Circle, Circle.

Flat Mode - Left, Right, Left, Right, L1, R1, L1, R1, Square, Circle.

For a hoverboard enter Square, Circle, Square, Circle, Square, Square, Square and hop on a skateboard and score about 22,000 points. Then hop back on tje skateboard again and it will be a hoverboard the same as the one for fighting the sorceress with and if you fly to the top of a half-pipe you get 4,000 points and if you fly forward for the same amount of time you get 7,900 points and if you fly upside donw for the same amont of time you will get 9,800 points and if you do them again you will get half that and it will continue to get lower.

NOTE: For these codes to work, you need to complete ALL of the Sparx levels. Also, if you don't type in the final 2 buttons quickly, the game will freeze.

To get unlimited flame, complete the game then start again.

The 18,500-gem (I think) door may be hard to get to IF YOU DON’T HAVE A SPARX!!!!! Yes that is correct by gliding on to the laver next to the door, getting hurt you can acutely get across. But it might take a while to do.
Ho can anyone help me with the yetis on the snowboards, I RELLY NEED HELP

After doing the weird glitch, come out of Lost Fleet or Frozen Altars or Charmed Ridge or Honey Speedway in Evening Lake then swim up. See what happens!
Also enter Seashell Shore and swim out of the water!

To do this position Spyro on a shadow and stay there for 3 hours. When you come out you will be shadowy.

...After finishin' Bugbot Factory and If you Have more Than 14900, PAUSE, then press up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, square, down, circle. 5000 gems to collect.
