| EX Character: 1st Method | Finish Story mode, any Path and you will be able to select the EX version of that character |
| EX Character: 2nd Method | Complete Mission mode and you will unlock EX versions for all characters NOTE: Justice and Kliff do not have EX versions |
| GG and GGX Characters | Complete Mission mode and you will unlock the GG and GGX versions of the characters |
| Justice and Kliff | Complete Story mode with Justice or Kliff |
| Gold and Shadow Characters | Complete all Paths with a character in Story Mode then at the Character Selection Screen change the colour version with the "L" button to either Slash (For Gold) or Raload (For Shadow) and select the character with DUST button. NOTE: Easy Characters for this are : Kliff, Order-Sol, Justice, Robo KY and Faust. |
| EX Endings in Gallery Mode | If you finish the Arcade Mode with a normal character you will get his/her ending and you can see that ending in Gallery Mode, but if you finish Arcade Mode with the EX version of that character you will get the EX Ending under "EX Character" in the Gallery Mode. NOTE: you will only see the EX ending on the Gallery Mode, when you finish the Arcade Mode you will see the normal ending, i recommend that you do this with the Gold versions, as it makes ti a lot easier. Justice and Kliff only have normal endings |
