If ever you need to mount something, or want to hide something, that is going to fall when you get to a certain point, then you would use dissolve material. Normally you would use a combination of things, but when the player sees it, you wouldn't want it to be some stupid looking green tablet would you? The trick is....

Disguising the green material, also know as the Dissolve Material. Just take a picture of the most common thing around you as a surrounding, like a wall for example, and then place the sticker all over the green dissolve material. Then BAM! you've got a perfectly good looking piece of dissolve material, easily mountable on anything you want to hide up to a point, or just to hold something up, till that last fatal moment when the player walks in to the trap.

Take my new Metroid level for an example. It's called "Metroid Dread" and theres a few parts I use this technique in. After you get out of the Metroid infested Pirate base, you walk across very rainy lands past a seemingly normal little alcove in the ground. I disguised dissolve material on the ground so it looks just like anything else. But when you step on it it breaks open and you fall on to a bed of spikes. You can use this technique in hiding any number of things. Experiment with it to get the full extent of the tip.

To make an invisible floor in edit mode, get some dark matter and make it the smallest size it will go (While not in grid mode) and hold x to make your floor. You will notice it is invisible. This could be useful for walls which you don't want to be seen and such.

To jump higher off a moving platform, wait until the platform has moved as high as possible before jumping. The momentum will throw you higher in the air.

You can also jump higher by jumping off the very edges of objects, provided the edge is sharp and does not curve.

If you glue objects together and then glue a bomb, then set it off, it will fall apart! (may take a couple attempts, if it works and is not moved, it will always work.)

You can beat the Boom Town's 2+ player Area by yourself using this exploit.

After noticing the area (roughly halfway through the map, past the rows of falling flaming logs, underneath the small 'town' that you blow up), ignore it, and continue on to the town. Blow up the first part of the town, but DO NOT blow up the second part with the button.

Instead, go down to the lowest level of the town, and push through the building that is supposed to blow up with the second button. You'll notice you're actually pushing all the explosives out. There should be two black triggers, and (I believe) 3 generic explosives boxes. Arrange all of these bombs fairly close together, but still covering the thin layer of ground in front of the building (notice the prize bubbles in it?)

The boxes should only be a bit less than a box length apart from eachother, roughly. This should cover most, if not all of, the area in front of the building.

Now, go back through the building where you looted the explosives, and trigger them with the button at the top. You'll notice that most (if not all) of the prize bubbles have fallen down.

Next, backtrack to the two player area. Ignore the carts, since you need two people to use them. You may notice some prize bubbles in the deathtrap pit. So you'll need to die to get them. Most of the bubbles, if not all, should be in the main cavern under the building they fell out of.

Just throw the switch to lower the ramp, and climb up to get all the prizes.

Congrats, you beat a 2 player area by your lonesome.

I figured out this cheat myself. At first I thought I was actually doing the area the right way, and ignored it the first time around (after I tested it to see if the way I did it was the right way. Assuming that I was supposed to finish it off with a second player). So I accidentally uncovered a glitch while trying to do (What I thought was) the right thing.

To get this costume, you must run into something electric while as a plain sackboy. You will notice that your character goes from normal to neon skeleton. If you time it right and pause the game when your character is the neon skeleton, when you turn off the controller and wait for the "Press the PS button to play!" you should respawn as the neon skeleton when you turn the controller back on. You can then save it as a costume and put clothing over it. You may notice that it is a material from the weddings theme but it is also a special glow in the dark neon material.

If you choose the beige sponge cotton, then turn it into a gas, save and then load your level, then unlethalize it, it will look like glass.

Put a sticker, any sticker on a piece of wood. Now, set the wood on fire. If you move a piece of glass in front of the wood, it will make the wood seem like normal wood with a sticker on it. In my LBP Glitch Gallery, I demonstrate this and other cool LBP glitches.

There is a two player challenge in the first level in the weddings theme that can easily be done by one player. When you fist meet the posh butler enemy with the head that goes up and down to reveal it's brain, kill it and continue to go straight right ignoring the skull that bounces you up to a higher level. You should then meet another butler enemy , kill it and continue right until you face a suspended skull with some sponge on it and a large pole with sponge hanging off it. Grab the first sponge on the pole until it comes down . When you let go, it will spring back up so really quickly let go and grab onto the next piece of sponge. repeat until you are at the last piece of hanging sponge. Now wait and the pole should slowly go upright enough for you to jump on and grab onto the sponge on the skull. When you grab the skull sponge it should go down to release some prize bubbles, you can then jump down to collect them!

Have you ever played a stage where you fall and you land on a death trap without dying? That was a barrier. To make a barrier, use rubber or dark matter, and shrink it to the smallest size it will go. Then smear it in a straight line, and you will have a forcefield! This only works if you smear the material in straight line, though.

You know that computer that you use to end any of your many famous levels? Well there's a small glitch in to the game. Put paper thin glass all over the front wall of your level, and then change the background to something interesting, other then white. Then put the computer in the back. When you do it the black part of the screen will become see through and show you whatever is behind it. It only works when theres glass in front of it. Kinda interesting. An example would be at the end of "1 of 4 The Legend of Sackboy: The Oceanside Village" By: me. For that is where I discovered this.

For those of you too lazy to make a barrier, this cheat is the one for you!Take a drum out of your goodies bag, set it on fire. You can still walk on top of it, but you'll catch on fire if you touch the sides of the drum.

when you finish a level with level editor and make the finish CPU. hanging upside-down, so you have to swing or be launched into it, you will be standing on nothing.

pressing X makes the icon jump for the HDD warning load screenn and also the server sign in screen.

If you hold down L2 or R2 and push the analog stick right and than left fast you will smack any player standing near to you.

When in your pod, simply to don't press anything. That is including the analog sticks for about a minute or two and you will unlock a seceret video of sackboy running through out multiple area's.

Running backwards and forwards in your pod will cause it to sway.
