How to have better cornering:
By collecting and saving an Auto-Pilot power-up. When you reach a tricky corner, get as around it as possible, then activate the Auto-Pilot power-up at the last moment.

first get a good/full upgrade on ure ship. when u come to the first curved piece of track(near the beginning)after making the turn ahead there should be row of red arrows telling u to turn right but dont turn right hold down the down button andfly though the gaps in the arrows and you should land safely if u didn't then u probably dont have a full upgrade or u didn't press down in time.
