Well actually, you can destroy naked lamp and lightbulp with it. Again, very useful if you don't want to waste bullet to destroy a lamp and it' useful on Kinshasa Mission.(Note: if the lamp or lightbulp isn't destroyed, try to throw it a little farther from it)
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent has a total of 3 different endings: The bad, the good and the normal ending. The ending is determined on what you do at the end of JBA HQ part 2. Unfortunately the only difference between the three endings is a quick 30 second news clip before the credits... but something is something I guess.
Bad Ending: Don't defuse any of the bombs at the JBA HQ.
Good Ending: Defuse both bombs at the JBA HQ
Normal Ending: Defuse only one bomb at the JBA HQ
Did mission in Okhtosk got you all way to the JBA? In Kinshasa Mission, Emile said Do Not Kill anybody, because they are JBA ally. If you kill them in this mission, you get trust bonus to NSA and NOT for JBA.
Run out of Airfoil Round or Rubber Bullet? Easy!!! Just pick a bottle or an ice cube and throw it directly to the enemy head and instant KO! The effect is same as a normal KO-ed enemy (can still waken up by other enemies(Note: Throw it in dark place to avoid detection)) This trick is very useful on the Kinsasha mission where you don't have any weapon.
Having trouble getting past gaurdes who are equiped with nightvision? Well here's a tactic you would have never thought of "STAY IN THE LIGHT!!!" it sounds crazy I know but when the light meter is at max enimies with nightvision won't see you. Be carefull though if an enemy gets too close they'll spot you.
go to the ceiling of the office.. go to the edge (make sure u can see the bomb and no one see's u [they all have nightvision]).. then use your EEV and point it to the bomb and press 'x'.. now activate the bomb.. (the guards will then notice the bomb started its countdown) wait for 10 secs. there at the ceiling.. the guards will be gone except for Moss. pull out your sniper and shoot him in the head! then defuse the bomb..
*you just fired one bullet!! ENJOY.!!
In order to unlock this difficulty setting you have to beat the main storyline of the game once.
This mode makes enemies even tougher than the Hard difficulty and only gives you your OCP Pistol and a knife, no SMG.
MISSION SELECT: This is actually unlocked after the first mission.
CINEMATICS: To unlock cutscenes, complete the missions by making different decisions every time you play them.
BONUS MISSIONS: There are two extra PS2-exclusive missions available once you finish Mission 2 and Mission 4. They include a mission on a Tanker and a mission involving some drugs.
