I just recently found out if you look backwards that no cars show up on your screen. well you can use this if you need to loose the cops. when in cool down mode, look backwards and no cops will show up. you can also use this to get places when the cops are looking for u and you dont wanna deal with them. just drive backwards and look backwards with the GPS on u can see it when in look back mode. you will see the cops but the wont chase u... they will chase you if u run into them tho... not really a big thing but it gets you around the world without worrying about the pigs all up in your face tho...

When you get chased by the cops, hit the front of their cars and you will blow their engine. It is a fast way of getting away from them.

Get level 5 cops on your tail in free roam and then drive around until you loose a swarm of those law and order protect and serve officers out of sight and also without the chopper is when the cool down session starts. Now is the time to keep driving until you only arrive to a road block with no cops chasing you, the cool down then goes into the heat meter again because the road block has spotted you ONLY. All you have to now is stop about 6 meters of the road block and make sure the bar at the bottom of the screen which has busted on the left and evade on the right - make sure the meter marker stays in the middle. Now wait and the cops will not show. Works best on the major freeways and may not work first time but is successful believe me. Your bounty will now climb and climb. Once happy with the amount of bounty made is when you need to make a get away and hide from the cops in order to save your progress. The next time your on the run from the police try this. Find a two story building that you can drive your car on to the second level. Make sure that the police don't follow you up and they won't be able to see you and you can just wait it out. This is good if you are unable to get to a hiding spot without being seen.
