Legacy of Kain: Defiance Cheats & Tips

after you fight raziel as kain you will have to fight kain as raziel, as the fight starts just let kain kill you and you will respawn in the spectral realm as soon as you shift back to the material realm don't move the fight will start but kain will not attack you until you move toward him or attack him in any way. you can use this get an easy TK shot on kain.

when you fight kain as raziel let him kill you and you will respawn in the the spectral realm, shift back to the material realm and run up to the alter around where kain was standing and the music should change.
NOTE: You may not be able to get to the alter right away because kain will be trying to fight you and once you change the music there is no way that I know of to get the other music back unless you just let kain kill you again and restart the fight.

As Kain, use your combos and especially Kinetic Shackles. Pull or throw Raziel around and keep slashing. Raziel is quick; keep moving and use all your skills.

Use the basic fighting strategy to defeat Kain. Raziel is quicker than Kain so use it to your advantage.

Press Start to pause your game as Kain, then push Up, Down, Left, Right, R2, L2, Triangle, Down, Circle. Your Reaver will be replaced with a cardboard tube

Press Start to pause your game, then push Up, Down, Up, Down, R1, R2, Down, Circle, Triangle.

Put in the cartoon code (UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, R1, R2, DOWN, CIRCLE, TRIANGLE) and save the game. Now, restart the PS2 (this is necessary, as it won't work if you just quit the game and reopen the file). Open the game file and Kain should still be a cartoon. Now put in the cartoon code again, and instead of changing back to normal, Kain should turn into Raziel.
