Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War Tips

Accelerated speed
At an altitude of 35,000 feet or higher, holding down the afterburners will accelerate the aircraft faster than it would below that distance. You can use this to cross large portions of the map more quickly than you could otherwise. Also works well to evade Ace squadrons.

Works in any Ace Combat game on the PS2.

Ace Combat X reference
On Ace combat X (PSP) at the end you have to fight the fefnir, well in ace combat Zero in mission 8, after a while an allied squadron member will ask "FEFNIR 2" if hes alright.

Unlock Paints Before Planes
Unlike in Ace Combat 5 where you must buy planes before unlocking the paints, in Ace Combat Zero you can unlock the paints of an aircraft before you even unlock (or buy) the aircraft itself. So don't hesitate to hunt for special-painted aces before buying the aircraft.

Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War Glitches

Espada 1 can be turned into yellow target.
In mission "The Talon Of Ruin", you have to fight Espada Team before you can engage XB-0 Hresvelgr. There is a probability that Espada 1 (the one with J35J) will turn into yellow target (neutralized) if you damage him enough BEFORE Espada 2 (the one with Rafale M). He will try to escape the battlefield, you can either shoot him down or let him go. This occasion mostly happen in Knight ace style.

Fly with your missile
After firing a missile, you actually can hold the circle button to see your enemy mayhem, but be aware that you won't be able to 'watch' your plane, so fly high...
