Battle.net Win and Lose Counter
You know the Win and Lose Counter well it only counts for Games like Melee and Top vs Bottom. It won't raise the Win or Lose Counter if your playing on a UMS (Use Map Settings) map. Sometimes it won't work because of the internet connetion the site has. (P.S.: Don't Leave a Regular map battle or else your lose counter will raise!)

Defeat an enemy quickly with Terrans
Bring in a SCV behind an enemy's base and build a Barracks. Start cranking out the units and attack. If you cannot get one, then build a Barracks and then fly it over behind the mineral field in a moving city tactic.

Defeat Archons easily
Get a Science Vessel and Learn EMP shockwave. Go to a group of archons and cast it. This will be much, much easier to kill them because of their 10 hp.

Easy Way To Protect Your Base From Computer Enemies (Terran)
If you are Terran, and you are playing a map with a straight edge entrance this can be helpful. Also, make sure your opponents are Computer before attempting this. First, when the game starts build a few SCV's to gather minerals. Then, once you have a few hundred minerals take one of your SCV's and start building supply depots across the front of your base. Make sure they're tight next to each other, or enemy units will be able to get in. After you are done making all of the supply depots, build bunkers directly behind them. I recommend that you put marines in these bunkers. Also, if you feel the need to get a detector, build a few turrets around. If you feel the marines aren't enough a few sage tanks wouldn't hurt. Now your defense is complete. When the enemies come to your base they will walk around the front of your base but will not attack, which will let you kill them. Small units such as Zerglings and Ghosts may be able to get through, so be cautious.

Evade attacks
If your units are on a hill while shooting and your opponent isn't on a higher terrain, your opponent has a chance to miss their attack.

Hear different unit phrases
Select a unit four times. Select it again to hear a different phrase. This may be done on every ground unit, air unit, and heroes. Depending on type, four to seven different phrases may be heard.

Interfering with CPU mineral production
Note: This trick works best when playing as the Protoss and SCVs and Drones are used. Build a Pylon with Cannons near an enemy base, but not in it or near its mineral production. Get a Probe and attack their base, unless it is a suicide mission. Immediately after that, run to your cannons and watch the enemy workers die. If you do this rapidly enough, eventually they will quit making workers and just sit there.

Nuke neutral animals
Keep selecting a neutral animal (Kakaru, Rhyadon, Scantid, Ursadon, Bangalass, Or Ragnasaur) repeatedly until a nuke falls on them. They should make up to fifteen sounds before they die.

Secretly Protecting Your Base
Placing cloaked or burrowed units around your base can be very helpful when your opponent(s) attack your base. If they don't have any de-cloaking devices (or units) you can win the game very quickly, by simply letting the units patrol your base. When the time comes for battle your opponent will be clueless, and you will basically have the game won. Examples of units that have the cloak ability are Ghosts, Dark Templars, Wraith's, and examples of units that have burrowing abilities are Lurkers, and most of the other Zerg ground units (when the ability is upgraded).

Stacking Mutalisks
Muta-stacking has become a very popular technique since 2006. Simply group your Mutalisks with an Overlord or a Larva. Stacked Mutalisks are harder to focus fire on and attack much more efficiently.

Tip: Units That Do Splash Damage
There are a few units in Brood War that do Splash Damage. Splash Damage is when a unit attacks another unit and hurts others that are close to it. The units that do Splash Damage are Hydralisks, Lurkers, Devourers, FireBats, nuclear missiles (when equipped on Ghosts), Mutalisks, Siege Tanks (Siege mode only), Valkyries, Infested Terrans, Scourges, Reavers, Archons, and Corsairs. This can be very helpful when attacking groups of many units.

Ultimate Defense Terran Only
Ok this only works with terran. First you start off with your regular 4 SCVs and you mine. Once you get 100 build 2 more. So you have 6 then you build one more when you can. Move that one down to the entrance of the base. Build a barracks and as that is building, build 3 more scvs and make 2 build supply depots around your base just a missile turrets width away from the edge of your vespene gas. And have your lonely little scv build a barracks right beside the one that is in progress or that is finished. And have those 2 scvs keep building around your vespene and leave a big open area inside your depot wall. And leave a bunker width space at one part of the depot wall. Then just build missile turrets around the wall. And at the entrance build 2 or 3 bunkers and fill them w/2 ghosts and 2 rines. Then just build one armory, star port, academy, factory, barracks, science facility one w/covert ops and physics lab (or the one that makes bcs), and engineering bay. And then build some barracks and everything else on the outside.

Ok the purpose of this strategy is they will spend forever on the depots while you pick them off. And you build the entire tech tree on the inside so even if your outside is destroyed you have nothing to worry about because you have the tech tree in your depot line. See what I mean its SMART.

All units structures of Protoss, Terran, and Zerg
Go to a custom game and play as the Protoss. When you have gotten too the point where you can afford to make two Dark Templars, create them. Merge them and research the mind control capability at the Templar archives. Take your new Dark Archon and use the mind control on either an enemy drone or a SCV. Now you can use them to build Zerg and Terran units and structures.

Extra Broodlings
When playing as the Zerg, enable the show me the money code, or have a lot of Queens. You can keep using spawn Broodlings on other Broodlings. In a short time you can have 50 Broodlings, and attack. Use this trick when your opponent only has an infantry.

Fast Zerglings
Have your four starting Drones start harvesting. Build only one more Drone. When it hatches, have it harvest. Wait until you get 200 minerals, then build a Spawning Pool. When you get 50 minerals, make a Drone, then another. When you get 100 minerals, make an Overlord. You should have 6 Drones, about 150 minerals, and 2 Overlords when your Pool is done. This takes about two to three minutes and all comps will fall to you, even the hardest ones.

Go Over Protoss Population Limit Without Cheats
First make sure you have at least one dark archon with the mind control upgrade. Then, max out your population. Now any units you mind control will go over your population limit but will not affect you.

Invisible Zerg units
Play as the Protoss. Get an Arbitor and a burrowable unit such as a Drone or Zergling. Burrow the unit, patrol the Arbitor so the unit cloaks and uncloaks, and with great timing, unburrow just when the unit gets to the edge where it starts to cloak. If timed correctly, you will have the unit cloaked. Note: Burrowing the unit again wears off the effect.

Legacy of the Xel'Naga (Protoss Level 4 Brood War)
First, build everything possible to complete your base. Make sure you have a lot of Protoss Cannons surrounding your base to fend off Zerg being transported by Overlords. When you base runs out of minerals and gas, head northwest and start a new one there. Since the entire island is surrounded by Spore Colonies, you need Corsairs, Shuttles and Dark Templars. Fill at least two shuttles with Dark Templars and send the Corsairs to do their "special disruption" on two or three Spore Colonies. Next, unload the Templars on the island. Since they are invisible, slowly take out the Spore Colonies. Usually Queens will splatter green liquid on them, making them go slower and become visible -- be careful of Hydralisks and Zerglings attacking them. When you destroy all the Spores, send over a Probe and build two Pylons, five Photon Cannons and a Gateway on the island in an empty location. The Photon Cannons will kill the Hydralisks and Overlords that approach. Then, get the Corsairs to use disruption on the Sunken Colonies and the Hive. Next, send in as many Dark Templars and Dragoons as you can to take out the Sunken Colonies, then the Hive. After you destroy one half of the island, the rest will be easy.

Quick start for Protoss
First, get the first four Probes to start gathering. After doing this, build five more Probes and put all of them to work except for the fifth. This is the one you will use to start your building. Once all Probes are built, build two Pylons, preferably close together. After completion of the Pylons build two Gateways and proceed to start pumping out Zealots. After you have maxed out at 33, build more Pylons, By now you should have a big enough force to hold off the first round of attacks, However, remember to keep building Zealots to replenish destroyed ones.
