Cheat Codes
To enable the console during gameplay, you must load the game using "bshift.exe -dev -console" frin the command line. With the console enabled, press ~ (tilde) to display the console. Type "sv_cheats 1" in the console to enable cheat mode. Then, enter the following codes:

easter egg: hidden monster

In the beginning of the game you have to get your helmet and suit from your locker. Inside there's a cardboard box, which contains a small purple alien.

To open the box you'll need to get your pistol and grabbed the 2 extra ammo in the shooting range. After that go back to your locker and shoot EVERY SINGLE BULLET into the card board box.


Just keep shooting until you run out of bullets, the cardboard box will pop open, and a one eye purple alien stick out its blue tongue at you.


Also there is a hidden picture inside the blue shift's main directory, that picture is store in a folder which contains BS's entire menu text/logo...etc

Portal Easter Egg (spoilers)

When you're being messed-around in the portal, wait until you're teleported into a semi-dark room. You'll hear some chatter coming from the window, so look outside...
this scene should be familiar to anyone who has played Half-Life

Access Cheats

To access cheat mode on Half-Life: Blue-Shift, click start then click run and type in "C:\Sierra\Blue-Shift\bshift -dev -console -game gearbox" (excluding "&") then click enter or OK. This should take you straight into the game so once it has click (New Game) or (Load Game) and once in the game click the button with these two symbols on it: ¬ `
If you've used cheats on the other two Half-Lifes then you'll know all/most of the codes, if you haven't here are a few:

Code Effect
/impulse 101 Gives all weapons and ammo.
/god Makes you invinceable.
/noclip Allows you to fly through
things.
/impulse 102 Creates giblets.
/impulse 103 Shows monsters stats when
pointed at.
/impulse 203 Deletes creature that's
pointed at.
/thirdperson Shows Freeman, Shepherd or
Calhoun in thirdperson veiw.
/firstperson Switches back to firstperson.
