Football Manager 2006 Tips
A TEAM WHICH GOES WELL WITH FAST ALL-OUT-ATTACKING FOOTBALL
A VERY GOOD TEAM WHICH IS UNSTOPPABLE........... CAN REALLY DO DAMAGE TO A TEAMS DEFENCE~~~~~~ KEEP ON PRESSURING THE DEFENCE WELL....... AND IT IS UNBELIEVABLE WHEN THEY ATTACK CONTINUOUSLY........... UNSTOPPABLE IF YOU MIGHT SAY.
STRIKERS LACK OF COMPOSURE DUE TO HEAVY ATTACKING~~~~~~~~ ALWAYS MISSES IN FRONT OF GOAL............ DEFENCE MUST BE 90%-100% IN GOOD CONDITION, IF NOT......... DEFENCE WILL BE HOPELESS AND EXPOSE......... PLAYERS MORALE MUST BE RANGE FROM GOOD-SUPERB............. FOR STRONG AND FAST TEMPO PERFORMANCE
I USE FEYENOORD IN MY GAME, AND IT IS DONG WELL SO FAR IN 24 GAMES, 14WINS 7DRAWS AND 2LOST(SOME WERE STUPID TACTICS I SET-UP BEFORE I GO FOR THE ALL-OUT-ATTACK TACTICS ON MY TEAM, THATS WHY I'VE DRAWN SO MANY GAMES)
2ND IN THE LEAGUE WITH A GAME IN HAND BEHIND RODA JC BY 1POINT WHICH PLAYED 24GAMES ALREADY.
IMPORTANCE: TEMPO MUST BE FAST, ATTACK MUST BE ALL-OUT, PASSING CAN BE LONG OR SHORT(BUT MIXED IS THE BEST), OTHER SETTINGS CAN BE SET FREELY BY YOU.
GK= MARTEN STEKELENBURG(GREAT KEEPER, UNSTOPPABLE, DEFINITE MUST HAVE)
DR= ANTHONY VANDEN-BORRE(TREMENDOUS RIGHT-BACK WHICH DELIVERS DANGEROUS BALL)
DC= SOTIRIS KYRGIAKOS(STRONG CENTER-BACK WHICH DOGFIGHTS IN EVERY CHALLENGE)
DC= MARTIN SKRTEL(PROMISING CENTER-BACK WITH GREAT POTENTIAL)
DL= KIM DONG-JIN(ANOTHER SIDE-BACK WHICH GIVES OUT DEADLY CROSSINGS)
MR= ANDREI ARSHAVIN(THE FANTASTIC WIZARD FROM RUSSIA, OUTSTANDING DELIVERIES)
MC= SHINJI ONO(GREAT ON FREE-KICKS, THE ASIAN STEVEN GERRARD)
MC= JONATHAN DE GUZMAN(VERY PROMISING, A HOT-PROSPECT)
ML= URBY EMANUELSON(THE BEST ON THE LEFT YET VERSATILE FROM MIDFIELD TO DEFENCE)
FC= PARK JOO-YOUNG(GREAT POTENTIAL STRIKER, GREAT COMPOSURE, YOUNG-TALENT)
FC= DIRK KUYT(THE GREAT FLYING-DUTCHMAN, CAN BE PLACED AS A SIDE-MIDFIELDER ALSO)
STEF DOEDEE(GK)=YOUNG, 18-YEARS-OLD.VERY PROMISING.
SERGINHO GREENE(D)=GREAT DEFENDER. IF STARTS HIM ON THE LINE-UP, NOT A BAD IDEA
ANDRE BAHIA(D)=STRONG DEFENDER. A MUST HAVE STRONG BRAZILLIAN IN A TEAM
LUIGI BRUINS(D)=VERSATILE DEFENDER THAT CAN BE PLAYED ON CENTER-MIDFIELD AND ALSO DEFENCE. MY OPINION, BEST ON DEFENCE. GREAT FUTURE IN THE GAME.
IVAN BANDULOVSKI(D)=CAN BE FOUND IN FEYENOORD UNDER 21'S SYSTEM. POTENTIAL RIGHT WING-BACK. DEADLY BULGARIAN, BRIGHT FUTURE.
PASCAL BOSSCHART(D)= STRONG AND FAST LEFT WING-BACK, GREAT PLAYER.
CHARLIE ADAM(M)=THE SCOTTISH WHICH HAS FULL ABILITY TO REACH POTENTIAL STAR IN THE MAKING.
GERVINHO(M)=THE IVORIAN LEFT ATTCK-MID, HAVE POTENTIAL ABILITY TO BE THE BEST.
DAISUKE MATSUI(M)=GREAT JAPANESE UTILITY PLAYER. GREAT ON THE LEFT AND ALSO CENTER. AVERAGE ON THE RIGHT SIDE TOO.
SOLOMAN KALOU(M)=A FEYENOORD PLAYER WHICH CAN'T BE SOLD-OUT, STARTS HIM ON THE LINE-UP IS ALSO GOOD.
TIM VINCKEN(M)=POTENTIAL WINGER. ALREADY ON THE FEYENOORD LINE-UP. ANOTHER AWESOME DUTCH WONDER-KID.
ELJERO ELIA(S)=HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BE THE BEST. GREAT FUTURE UP AHEAD
YOANN GOUFFRAN(S)=FRENCH YOUNGSTER WHICH IS HAS THE RIGHT POTENTIAL TO BE DOMINANT IN THE FUTURE.
TOTAL COST OF TEAM= NEARLY 60MILLION EUROS
JONATHAN DE GUZMAN
SOME SAYS AVERAGE PLAYERS ONLY.
BUT IT IS TRULY STRONG ENOUGH TO FIGHT FOR EURO GLORIES.
This is easy, All you do is save before going into a match. Then if you lose restart it. It's best to change tactics each time you do this though and see what works best, Then work on that!
I am chelsea and makelele is retiring so i needed to bring a good young defensive midfielder in. i bought javier mascherano. he is not that good to start off with but these are a few stats of his:

19 - tackilng, marking, postioning, agilty
18 - first touch

I am a self confessed Arsenal fan and i am heading into my 5th season after winning the premiership, champions league, fa cup and the league cup.
GK - Chris Kirkland (Liverpool)
RB - Billy Jones (Crewe)
LB - Ashley Cole (Arsenal)
CB - Ledley King (Tottenham Hotspur)
CB - Gonzalo (Villarreal)
RM - Simao (Benfica)
LM - Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern)
CM - Tomas Rosicky (Dortmund)
CM - Xabi Alonso (Liverpool)
FC - Carlos Tevez
FC - Fernando Torres
You may well think i am mad for not having Thierry Henry in my side but after the third season he doesn't score as many goals as he should, for instance in my fourth season he only scored 12 goals in 35 appearences. I can also recommend loads of decent players that i have signed through my time on the game.
Vincent Kompany - Anderlecht
Ale - Sao Paulo
Freddy Adu - DC United (the tip to making Freddy Adu a legend is leaving him on the under 18's for the first season without giving him an apperance in the first team squad and then in the second season put him up into the reserves and let him play in a few first team games e.g. cup matches and then in the third season play him in the first team and you just try and keep him away from that goal!!!!
Mike Zonneveld - NAC Breda
Steven Taylor - Newcastle
Sebastien Frey - Parma (starts on season long loan at Fiorentina)
Submitted by: anonymous on August 14, 2006
GK - Maarten Stekelenburg (brilliant ajax keeper)
DR - Amaral (sign from some brazilian team for 2m, best right back in the game!)
DL - Felipe (also young brazilian full-back)
DC - Hedwiges Maduro (ajax centre back almost as good as rio!)
DC - Rio Ferdinand (best defender in the world)
MR - Cristiano Ronaldo (average rating over the season was 9.12)
ML - Leo Messi (get him for around 3m, best bargain in the game)
MC - Francesc Fabregas (the new roy keane)
AMC - Kaka (got him for free, scores 40-50 a season)
FC - Fred (from lyon brilliant player and perfect partner for the one and only roo!)
FC - Wayne Rooney (world footballer of the year every season so far!)

To get cheap players just go through the leagues of countries like South Africa, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ivory Coast etc... lower leagues such as these have great gems, young and old for prices ranging between 2k-1mil. most of these players have amazing stats for these prices and play great in any top league. They also rise in price once at a higher team so can be sold for over 2mil easily to make money for any team.
Decent players for a middlish team in prem
if you are in the prem with an alright team and need players sign the following as i did when i was middlesbrough and i finished 3rd with £8.75million to spend:
Griffin Portsmouth(always transfer listed but dont Know why)
Andreson Charlton (players ok most of time but i kept him sub keeper)
Kirkland Liverpool/ West Brom( i only got him coz he broke his leg at start of season and they terminated his loan and when i signed him he only let in 2 in 12 games and those goals both came against chelsea which i drew 2-2)
Zalayeta(listed at start of season so get him as he is good)
Reguerio(same with him listed but good)
bocanegra Fulham (playes gd most of time
Cahill Aston Villa
in editor how do u make ur own team up and is it hard? email me the answer plz
When it comes January look and see whos contract is due to expire, go to ''aproach to sign'' and offer them as much as possable so he accepts your offer and no one elses, when hes about to sign in the summer cancel the offer and sign him for free with no compensation as his contract will be expired.

Sign Eddie Gaven, he always gets good ratings, and is only 18! Freddy Adu is also one to try and get, as he is a fastly developing player. Gary O'Connor, Kris Boyd and Derek Riordan, are all very prolific goalscorers. Andy Webster is also a good defender to have, along side Gary Doherty. Sasha Iakovenko is a good, attacking midfielder, for cheap money.

If you want your nation to move up the world ranking, arrange friendlies with teams you KNOW you'll beat and eventually you'll move up. This works well for lower nations (eg. N.Ireland, Scotland)
Hwn trying to get a player say like torres. Keep offering to buy him at $100,000,000 even though you dont have the cash. His club will alway accept. Then when he accepts your offer ask for as many delays as possible. When the transfer is cancelled start again. Do this until he becomes as free agent and then you can get him on a free. Make sure you monitor him weekly by creating a note witha weekly reminder.

I have been playing football manager for two years without really stopping. I have probably managed every single team in the English leagues from Chelsea to Yeading. So I really know who the great buys are. I am a big fan of arsenal and local team barnet, so if your managing a team in league two then look at some of the players below. seriously recommend that you consider keeping an eye on the following players:
P. Palethorpe (GK - Tranmere - 10k)
L. Edge (GK Blackpool - 10k)
C. Sheringham (ST - Ipswich - 5k)
R. Pedersen (GK - Nottingham Forest - 500k)
A. Boyd (ST - Hartlepool - 1m)
B. Clarke (DC - Blackpool - 1m)
p.s. all of the players above are young apart from Pedersen so I suggest you put them in your reserves for their first season. However, young Sheringham will be able to recieve a first team place straight away as he has considerable talent. Should net about 30-35 goals a season in league one or two....

Really simple cheat this! Once you've picked your club just go to options and new user go 1 of the big clubs (i.e chelsea, man utd, real madrid, inter, milan and juve) buy a rubbish player from your team then retire as manager of the big club. Then look around and find the best coaches in the world and you'll have the wage budget to sign them. This will then make all your players improve and if you have youth academy training facilites you'll start churning out world class players! (Chelsea are best club to do this with at start of the game as they have a transfer budget of 90million also good clubs 2 get coaches from are Porto, Sporting CP, Juve and Barcelona)

Almost won the league so many times but just missed out to your rival? If you want to ruin them then take over as them by adding a new user in a period while the transfer window is open and take control of them. Sell all of their players for free, buy one conference team player for all of their money and play the U18 squad in all of their games. Once you have sold all of their players for nothing and have gotten them thrashed in alot of matches, retire with that user and carry on with your team.

Having started off as Bury, and climbed to the Premier League in 6 short seasons, I figured i've hit on a decent team to get you up (keeping you up is debatable- This is NOT a team that will win you the Champions League!), or failing that, the Championship.
Best of all though, it's not a bank breaker, and you don't have to play with the editor or take over Chelsea and splurge £20 million on your worst reserve player. Those are both silly cheats. Besides, what's the point of winning the League Cup if it's not against Mourinho?
Firstly, though, a suggestion/bug- Playing a DM just ahead of the back four will earn you a 7-10 rating every time. Normally, you'll hit 8-9, and he'll win Man of the Match. Because i like when my players play well, I play a an attacking diamond formation to accommodate this (playing a lone MC tends to leave your MC running back and forth, but not accomplishing very much, so I push him up to AMC).
Anyway, to the players-
Note that the prices are what -I- paid. You may pay less, but I wanted them early.
Alan Julian (Stevenage -£45k)
Very effective signing with good reflexes and a pleasant price tag. I signed the much more highly rated Paul Gallacher from QPR (originally Norwich- £950k at the start- £700k after one season) who is also good, but Julian is still my regular. Dependable, and saves more penalties than he lets in.
Tamika Mkandawire (Hereford- £45k). He's young, strong, an excellent tackler and is relatively quick- and he's a very consistent performer. A real gem, and not too pricey.
Paul Bignot (£75k), Crucial signing, probably the most recommended on. An all-round defender with great tackling and strong physical stats. Although he can play anywhere in the back four, he's best in the centre or on the right.
The leftback role is a little tougher to fill- Peter Gilbert DL (Leicester- £50k at the start- £3k when I signed him) is a decent standin, but i preferred Dean Lewington (MK Dons- 30k) for League 1 and the Championship. He's useless in the Premier League though. In fact, they both are. Duly warned.
Sign Patrick Cregg on loan from Arsenal Reserves and play him in a DM position. He's free (contract runs out after 6 months) and he'll ratchet up the ratings. More importantly, he's a good tackler and passer, and his strength/stamina shoots up to 20 mighty fast. Once you hit Championship, though, you'll be able to get a better player (I managed to nab Joey Barton, then Flamini on a free after Barton left) Cregg is a great lower league player, but he will peter out a little come the Premiership. But by then you'll have a replacement.
Stephen Hunt (Reading- 5k). Got him cheap because he played rubbish for Reading by the January transfer window. Now, there's a little bit of "I saw him in real life and he was impressive" but the guy runs and runs ingame, and pacewise he's not too shabby either. Doesn't improve much over the seasons, but he's a good, consistent leftwinger, and he's great value.
Jason Puncheon (MK Dons- £50k). Faster, younger, better at crossing and less consistent. Good with free kicks too and improves fast. Tends to be my reserve leftwinger.
Craig Mackail-Smith (Dag & Red- £65k) A very fast, young rightwing dribbler who learns quickly. Good for lower leagues, but you'll replace him after the Championship.
Grant Leadbitter (Sunderland Reserves- Loan, then Free transfer). Decent reserve AMC. Doesn't score often, but once he gets one he'll get a couple. His Influence falls to pieces for me, but he's good in the lower leagues.
Serge Makofo FC (MK Don's U18's- £85k). Fast, a good dribbler and excellent finishing, plus he improves quickly. Won't score as often as he should, but will score quite regularily, and always just when you need him to.
Matthew Tipton FC (Bury- £30k starting off). Quite the opposite- Relatively slow, weakish stats, but scores quite often in the lower leagues. Despite 21 goals and 13 assists in 31 gams, he had a rating of 7.06 in the '06 season, so don't let his ratings fool you. Far from worldclass, but he'll grow on you. Good at penalties too.
Well, that was far longer than it had any right to be.. Regardless, Bignot, Makofo, Hunt, Julian, Mkandawire, Cregg and Tipton are still in my first squad. The first five are usually starters, so while 8th in the Premier League probably isn't as high as you plan to reach- Trust me, these are decent players if they can drag Bury up anywhere.
GK: Alan Julian
DL: Gareth Bale (Gael Clichy INJ)
DC: John Fitzgerald OR Micah Richards
DC: Tamika Mkandawire (capt)
DR: Paul Bignot
DMC: Mathieu Flamini OR Richards
AMC: Freddy Adu
AML: Stephen Hunt
AMR: David Bentley OR Chris Eagles
FC: Karim Benzema
FC: Serge Makofo OR Anthony Stokes
Lastly, when it comes to having decent assistants, coaches and trainers (I don't bother with scouts) I recommend making the effort. It makes about half an hour, but it will help. Search-Staff-Filter accordingly. Jose Ferreirinha (Chelsea) makes a very good start, can train any stat well and costs ~£400 per week. Plus he'll come to you. Not many quality non-players will do that when you're up for relegation in League Two.
Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Give a man a computer, and he'll ramble for hours.
Enjoy the game.

To be successful on this game, it is recommended that you have at least two different formations that you can use in the course of a match, such as a 4-5-1 and a 4-3-3, etc. This will enable you to switch tactics easily during a match when things aren't going according to plan, and will therefore save you a great amount of time over the course of a season.
Switching formations regularly can also help confuse the opposition, especially those who employ man-marking strategies on your key players. If one of your star players has been quiet throughout a match, try changing his position in order to trick your opponents - this can gain you a crucial upper hand.
I\'ve been playing FM 2006 for a long time and I regularly look through forums for players and I have a list of some of the players who highly underrated.
Michael Essien: This kid is hardly ever mentioned but I tell you this kid is wonderful in the midfield. He is as versatle in the game as he is in life. He is a natural MC, an accomplished DC and MR and competent in many other positions.
Arjen Robben: A pure wizard on the left wing though he can also play on the right and a competent striker at that. He gets the most asissts for my chelsea team and the premiership every season.
Some players you might be interested in:
Fred Adu: bought him for 5.2 MIL Euros sold him for 40 Mil to Liverpool. I could have had more from there but i was so exicted i just agreed without countering the offer
Zlatan Ibrahimovic: picture this he came to my team in the January tranfer window and became leading scorer of my team and the premiership. averaging 2 goals a match. He is also tall and strong, the perfect target-man. If you have enough money please get him as he is one of the best players in the game and certainly the best striker.
sing dave nugent first then go for danny simpson and johny evens if you have enough sing gabriel palleta and gary o conor

if you download mcfm. before a match write down the team your facing current ability and then take 1 digit off or maybe 2 and the team ur going to face is garaunteed to win unless your team is crap
Every game has an editor and if you look for it you will find it in this game. This allows you to play around with all the stats of the game i.e: put yourself in the game, give your team more than 2billion in money, and you can move any player in the game into your team all for free. You can also write off any debt you club has and make everyone stay at the club unitl 31/12/2015 and pay them £0 for there services...

If you have a massive transfer budget-£25m plus, bid all your transfer budget on a striker you will never play and tell his club you'll give them the money after he has played one league game. They should accept and you can flog him to a foreign team without ever playing him, thus not paying a penny.

Filtering/Refining your search can help condense your choice of player in the player search
Training and getting good coaches can develope your team
Tip #1.. When you are selling a player and the screen has the (accept cancel delay) thingy at the bottom right of the screen dont click on anything but save and exit the game. upon re-entering click accept any you should receive double transfer fee for some unknow reason.
Tip#2.. Don't be fooled by bad stats or low value (usually) if you have an injured squad player you may do well to call up a youth player from your U19's or whatever rather than splash the cash on a temporary players ...it's much less hassle.
Tip#3.. This is a great tip because it really does work... every member of your squad should at least be dropped from the starting line-up once from time to time to show that no matter how good a player is.... if he doesnt perform he isn't keeping his place... this usually makes them slightly more consistent.
Tip#5..training is something i hate bein involved with so i jst dont do it... however bringing in decent coaches ,physio's,scouts etc. is gud...... the greatest physio in the game is a complete unknown and will u sually go 2 most clubs... look for rodrigo lasmar from brazil or gianni nanni they 2 are reli gud... scout i recommend is david jarrett...coach... the best coaches are either at barcelona or A.c milan and are hard to aquire but if u do then they r well worth it. if u really cant b bothered then u can just place an advert for a scout or physio or whatever as this automattically draws realistic trgets for your club.
Tip#6.. just because players are excellent in real life doesnt mean they will be great on the game, Ronaldinho for example is one of the greatest footballers ever in real life but sumtimes on my game he fails to perform on big occasions which is quite frustrating.
Tip#7.. not exactly a tip more recommended buys for your game.... these stars immediately perform and are not the usual "takes time to adjust to play" types...... these are also expensive stars but are easily aquired through taking over the club they r at and placing them on the transfer list (for tips on this check out.... the next tip) so those stars are... Patrice Evra,Steven Gerrard,Leo Messi,John Terry,Scott Brown,Wesley Sneijder,Claude Makelele,Juninho pernambucano and Adriano (from Inter)
Tip#8..The best thing to do when snatching a player from another club is to take that club over. then simply set the player your real club is trying to buys status to accept all offers (dont click on anything else at the moment).Once your real team has made an offer for the player then you can get the player transfer listed by his other club and status set to reject all offers (dont worry though as your offer has already been accepted) then put him in the reserves all that kinda stuff .chances have greatly increased that he will join your club now. P.S This also works if u wanna get rid of a player from your club simply repeate these steps except get the other team to bid their whole transfer budget on the player u wanna get rid of.
Tip#9.. Also u can take over from a club before your original team plays them and set their formation to 5-1-1 or sumthing rubbish so your real team hammers them 31-0 or sumthing (hopefully)dont worry after the match you can retire from the team u only took over so your real team could hammer.
Tip#10.. The best formation is a basic 4-4-2 with the wingers with the forward run arrows as this gives the team good shape. Also do not bother using counter attack or offside trap as you can lose goals easily from doing this. A gud thing to do those is set closing down to often and tight marking but be wary as this drains stamina alot quicker. Ialso recommend resting players every so often and i kinda have a rule that any player whose condition is below 95% i will not put them in my starting line-up.
Tip#11.. the MOST important 1....... dont cheat hahahahaha just kiddin, good luck people hope I've been helpful.

At 5 we have something that is generally used by 80% of those who play Football Manager, but something that some refuse to talk about. LLMs hide your realism hungry eyes because this one may do a Medusa on you:
5. Quitting when you lose a match.
Fair enough you might think, its a game. In Sonic The Hedgehog you lose when you die, when you die you restart and try again. So what's wrong with doing it in Football Manager you may ask? Well, only the fact that ever since the series began the creators have been striving to create realism. You going "hmm, I lost to Sunderland again, I'll restart" does them a huge disservice and occasionally makes them cry, Do them a favour, all you restart junkies who claim they're really that good, play through an entire season as Sunderland without restarting and then we'll see who's the José around the scene.
Miles Jacobsen punishment: You must play with Michael Ricketts for an entire season and he has to start every game.
At 4 we have a widely used cheating method that for me is what really separates the men from the boys. The people who do this are making a mockery of their managerial ability and actually wasting the time of a couple of people you have at your club to do a job. I mean come on, they may only be used sparingly by most, but at least make them feel like they've earned that £1000 a week you pay them. Not everyone in football is like Winston Bogarde. Yes you've guessed it its is
4. Using FM Scout
You may have noticed around the scene recently a lot of cries of "Oh this game is so hard" and "my team sucks, I hate you SI". That's because the proletariat haven't yet received their precious FM Scout. Yes fair play to Nygreen, a great tool for finding out who the best player is. But surely the whole fun is (WARNING MAJOR CLICHÉ) unearthing a rough diamond and slowly polishing them into a world class player. If you've looking for cheap, fast thrills then Football Manager is not for you, go and play Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's Licensed to Drive if you want those kinds of kicks.
Miles Jacobsen punishment: You must sell your two most prized assets you found using FM Scout and exchange them for Michael Ricketts. If they refuse to move to Kettering then release them on a free.
This is where things get a bit grubby. You can throw me any excuse you want but you know when you do this you feel very dirty. The two previous cheats were pretty tame compared to the next FM faux pas. It violates and threatens the lives of more than one individual, no this one attacks the very fan base of an entire club. Yes that's right its
3. Taking over another club and buying a poor player for "loadsa money" (Harry Enfield for those who didn't know that reference)
So you're quietly managing Nottingham Forest, back in the premiership, 3rd season there and you have won the League Cup and the UEFA Cup. You're doing fairly well this season; 4 points off the top two and with the 30 million pounds you saved up, you can afford to splash big in January in an attempt to close the gap. Suddenly everything goes black, five minutes pass and you come around in the bathroom of an Esso petrol station. You open up your jacket pocket to reveal a contract telling you that you have successfully agreed terms to sign a player for a club record 30 million pounds. Dazed and confused you stroll back to the club, only to realise that you have got the poor man's Emile Heskey, Michael "I'm good in the air, boss" Ricketts. Not fair is it, and neither is it for the poor fans of Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and all those other well endowed clubs, so cut it out, now.
Miles Jacobsen punishment: Exchange your entire playing squad for Michael Ricketts. Don't worry you can offer all those excellent greyed out players contracts.
In the quest to become a prominent member of the Football Manager scene, someone came up with another tool to aid you. You being those who spent/spend their time filling the seats on the special needs bus to school. Well done Billy we are talking about
The name mind compression really does explain the effect the thought of people using it has on my mind. It has so many options, you can add money to your club, "I'll pretend a Russian oil baron took it over", yes that will make sleep better at night won't it. But the worst thing you can do with the devil's staff is increasing the ability of one of their players. Usually more considering they have already entered the life of crime by downloading this sacrilegious program. "Oh but he improved in a short space of time, just like Frank Lampard did", I hear you say. I'm sorry but does the fact that the player you just change used to be 34, now 20, is worth over 20 million, used to be 4 grand, and was the only man in history to be likened to Ali Dia, the player (used very loosely there) who Graeme Souness signed because a man pretending to be George Weah told him he was good, not mean anything to you. Well if you dance with the Devil, you will get your comeuppance.
Miles Jacobsen punishment: You must change all your players names to *insert any name here* Michael Ricketts. If you have any self respect then you would retire immediately and hit the bottle, hard.
So we arrive at the pinnacle of Football Manager smut. Worse than anything, (quite possibly worse than signing Michael Ricketts) and those who have done this, I hope a gun was pointed at your head when you did it, otherwise pray for mercy. Yes, and you know damn well if you've done it, its
1. Taking over your next opponent before your match to guarantee a win.
It starts off once, you've tried everything but you can't beat them. Frustration sets in and so in desperation you assume the control of your opponents, pick worse players for them and sit back, safely knowing you will win. That's bad enough, but then you start to be inventive, placing the players in a 0-5-5 formation with all the attacking lines pointing to the top left corner. Your players cruise past whilst a bizarre 11 man gangbang occurs on pitch (I won't use any back of the net euphemisms here). Suddenly you fins you do it against most of the teams you can't beat on first try and you win games 23-0. "I iz well good at dis managing lark mate", you may say smugly to yourself
