Wasteland: Indiana Jones hat
When doing the tutorial, you may find a yellow box (2 by 1 by 0.5 meters) with a skeleton curled in it. You can loot the hat he was wearing, probably he was a prospector in the game.
This is a reference to Indiana Jones (Found just outside Goodsprings)
Submitted by: anonymous on November 08, 2010
Wild Wasteland: Holy Hand Grenades
In the basement of the southern church in Camp Searchlight, there are three grenades called holy frag grenades. The name most likely comes from the shorter fuse than normal grenades (pull pin and count to 3) causing a panic blurt. These grenades are also really strong.

-Reference to the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail".
Submitted by: RaidenXS on December 10, 2010
Wild Wasteland: Jimmy fell down a well
Once Rex is recruited talk to him and he tells you that someone has fallen down a well. After the dialogue a new map marker will appear in the northeast near the howitzerfeild
Submitted by: RaidenXS on December 02, 2010
Wild Wasteland: Owen and Beru
In the town of Nipton, near the town's North-East corner (head right at the main building's doorstep) there are two skeletons. They are named Owen and Beru. This is an obvious reference to Star Wars: A New Hope.
Submitted by: Machienzo on October 24, 2010
Wild Wasteland: The Big One
North of The Devil's Throat is an undetonated atom bomb

-Reference to Stephen King's "The Stand", when near the end, Trashcan Man brought an atomic bomb to Vegas, which Trashcan Man called "The Big One".
Submitted by: RaidenXS on December 10, 2010
Wild Wasteland: Zybourne Clock
Near Goodsprings Source, Barton the Fink will ask you to investigate an area just South-East. You should find a dead prospector called Johnny next to a desk with a camera and 5 Aces Cards on the table, as well as four red balls in a line. This is a reference to the Zybourne Clock.
