Mortal Kombat 4 Cheats & Tips

Kombat Kodes
Enter one of the following codes at the versus mode screen to activate the desired cheat. There are two three-digit icon boxes at the bottom of the screen. The first icon in each box is controlled with Low Punch, the second with Block, and the third with Low Kick.

Access Secret Options
At the Options screen go to the continue option then press and hold BLK + RN on Controller 1, listen for a laugh, keep holding, until you hear "Outstanding". After that, the Cheat Menu is activated.

Bonus Characters
Play as Noob Saibot - The Secret Options Menu must be activated first. At the select screen, choose the Hidden option at the bottom of the screen, then move up to Reiko and hit BLK + RN to access Noob Saibot.

Play as Goro - The Secret Options Menu must be activated first. At the select screen, choose the Hidden option at the bottom of the screen, then move up to Shinnok and hit BLK + RN to access Goro.

Play as Meat - You must go to "Group Mode" which can only be played in a two player mode. Play every character in the game (16 in all) and make sure you win every time. After you play and win with the final character, you can pick anyone and your character will then be Meat. He will have all the moves of the character you selected but will look like a bloody skeleton.

Alternate Colors and Weapons
When Picking your fighter hold start and then press any button. Some fighters have three outfits while some other fighters have four.

Automatic Fatalities
Press the following: Hold Down and press HP from basically anywhere on the screen to do an automatic fatality -- but you must be close to your opponent for the pit fatalites. Note: Will not work with Goro.

Goro's Lair Secret
Press Down while your opponent is impaled on the spikes, and the camera zooms up close to them. They'll slowly slide off before falling back to the ground and you hear "Toasty!". Note: This also works on other levels when the level fatality option in the hidden menu is active.

Change Fighting Order
When at the "Choose Your Destiny" screen, Press Start on the controller. This will make the highlighted Tower rotate and a new line-up of fighters will become selectable, some fighters will even be replaced.

Goro - Go to the character select screen and highlight hidden on the bottom of the screen and press any button. Then press up,up,up,left on the d-pad, then tap C-< and C-Down until the fight starts!

Noob Sibot - On the character select screen highlight hidden on the bottom of the screen and press any button. Then press up,up,left on the D-pad. then hold C< and C-Down until the fight starts!
