Well for a battle you might get a few coins right, but if you hit the joystick left, right, up and down all the time, you'll get much more. It also works if you did this with V.S mode and both people do it, you'll get even more.

Here are some tips when you're in the middle of battle... Many of you may have tried these already, but anywho...

-If you are Bowser, and you happen to throw a Pokeball with that fire pokemon inside, jump up next to it and hold down "B". Now, instead of 1st degrre burns, 2nd degree burns!

-If an item appears on the other side of the stage (like Hyrule Castle), then jump, dont walk. Jumping gives you a less chance of getting hit from behind or from stepping on a previously set motion sensor bomb.

-When you knock someone off the "cliff" or edge whit a beam sword or any other clobbering item, they try to get back up, throw your weapon at 'em, 50/50 chanche of hitting them.

-You get extra points for using your up "B" and up "A" attacks consecutively. When you do use that attack, you have to make sure they dont touch the ground.

-Be careful with Yoshi, he only has one "get back on the stage" move.

Well, thats all for now, i hope that helps you to get better!

link directly to this cheatA trick to beat enemies in Cruel Melee easier.

Just recently I found a good strategy to beat more enemies in Cruel Melee:

Pick Roy and use his up+B on the enemies. Another way is to pick Ness and press A while running an you should beat atleast 5-10 enemies with these strategies.

link directly to this cheatAbout event mode (match 1 to match 25)

There are a total of 51 Event Matches. However, not all 51 are available when you start. More of them open up after unlocking certain Hidden Characters, and as you complete the existing Events.

When you first begin, you'll find that the Event Matches are a breeze to complete. But as you progress through them, they get considerably tougher to beat.

-------------------------------------------------
Event Match 1: Trouble King
Character: Mario
Opponent(s): Bowser
Arena: Battlefield Will this feud ever end? As Mario, it's your job to KO Bowser twice before he does the same to you.

Mario is a balanced character who's easy to learn, and Bowser is the slowest character in the game. Take advantage of the situation and pelt Bowser with fireballs and quick attacks. When his damage gets high, a quick smash is all that's needed to send him out of the arena.

Event Match 2: Lord of the Jungle
Character: Giant DK
Opponent(s): Tiny DK
Arena: Kongo Jungle
It's King Kong vs. an ant! As Giant DK, you have to KO tiny DK twice before he KO's you twice.

This battle seems rather lopsided at first, but once you start you'll realize that hitting Tiny DK is an exercise in frustration. If he's on the ground, use down+A attacks, and if he's on a higher platform, use forward+A attacks. Once you get a chance, charge up your Giant Punch fully for a quick KO.

Event Match 3: Bomb-fest
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Samus, Link
Arena: Princess Peach's Castle
So much fire... everything in this match explodes! Pokeballs release Electrode, Samus and Link are bomb happy, and Bob-ombs and Motion Sensor Bombs are everywhere! Everybody has one life to lose.

Try to stay away from all the explosions and grab all the items you can. Bob-ombs and Motion Sensor Bombs are quick and easy ways to destroy your opponents.

Event Match 4: Dino-wrangling
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Giant Yoshi
Arena: Yoshi's Story
With three lives, you must KO Yoshi once. He's a rather big dinosaur here, though, and his attacks almost always hit you.

Use a character you're proficient with, preferably one with a good Meteor Smash. Once his damage gets high, a Meteor Smash near the edge can send him down fast. Yoshi is somewhat clumsy and often falls of the edge by himself.

Event Match 5: Spare Change
Character: Ness
Opponent(s): Captain Falcon
Area: Onett As Ness, you face Captain Falcon in a Coin Match with a 200 Coin limit. The arena is Onett, so watch out for the speeding vehicles!

Even if you're not good with Ness, this Event Match is a breeze. Just keep smashing Captain Falcon and grab the resulting money that flies from him. KOing him will make half his coins fall to the edge of the arena, so whenever you can, KO him at the sides of the arena. Also, getting smoked by a car releases a ton of money, so lure him down when the "!" exclamation appears.

Event Match 6: Kirbys on Parade
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): 3 Kirby
Area: Fountain of Dreams
As the fighter of your choice, you must KO 3 small Kirbys twice. Since they're so tiny, single attacks tend to knock them out.

The Kirbys here are small, sound really funny, and fly off the arena with a single smash. They also seem to be scared of you, and spend more time evading than attacking. They don't put up much of a fight, so this Event Match should be no problem.

Event Match 7: Pokemon Battle
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Pikachu
Arena: Pokemon Stadium
It's a standard 2 life battle against Pikachu. Or so it seems. Regular attacks do nothing to both of you. The only way to attack is to use the Pokeballs that frequently drop from the sky.

Fast characters are the best for this match, like Fox or Captain Falcon. Since you're not attacking, just rush to every Pokeball you see and crack it open. Once Pikachu gets trapped in Pokemon attacks, you should have no problem collecting more Pokeballs.

Event Match 8: Hot Date on Brinstar
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Samus
Arena: Brinstar
It's just you versus Samus, and you each have three lives. You both start off with over 100% damage, though. It's your lucky day, because she starts off with more than you!

Try to avoid using light characters, as you start off with too much damage for comfort. After damaging Samus a bit after the match starts, she flies off the arena rather easily. Just don't fall prey to any of her powerful attacks.

Event Match 9: Hide 'n' Sheik
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): 2 Zelda
Arena: Great Bay
You're against 2 Zeldas, and you each have only one life. Even though they fly off the arena easily, they keep regenerating unless they're KOed in their Sheik form.

When the match starts, immediately use weak, quick attacks to raise the Zeldas' damage meters. Once they turn into Sheik, rush in and hit them with a quick smash before they turn back to Zelda. They're lighter weight than you think.

Event Match 10: All-Star Match 1
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Mario, DK, Yoshi, Peach, Bowser
Arena: Varies
With two lives, you must KO each of the five opponents once in five separate one-on-one battles. Your opponents are the classic Mario series stars.

The first of five All-Star Event Matches, this is a pretty simple Event Match that tests your true fighting skills. As you KO each opponent, the arena changes and another challenger awaits. Try not to take too much damage early on, as losing a life early could spell doom in a later match.

Event Match 11: King of the Mountain
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): 2 Ice Climbers
Arena: Icicle Mountain
You have one life, and the two pairs of Ice Climbers you're against have infinite. The match is yours if you survive for one minute.

Try to select a fast, evasive character, like Pikachu or Fox. Don't focus on attacking the Ice Climbers, as any KO is made in vain. Just run around and avoid their attacks. It's not hard to survive for one minute.

Event Match 12: Seconds, Anyone?
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Captain Falcon
Arena: Mute City
In seven seconds, you must KO the speed demon Captain Falcon, and you both start off with 100% damage.

This Event Match is simple - use Captain Falcon or Ganondorf and open up with a B attack (Falcon Punch/Warlock Punch). He walks into it every time.

Event Match 13: Yoshi's Egg
Character: Yoshi
Opponent(s): Pikachu, Fox, DK
Arena: Rainbow Cruise As Yoshi, you must protect your egg from your opponents for 55 seconds.

Although Yoshi lacks a triple jump, his double jump is his best evasive maneuver. Grab the egg before your opponents pelt you with it too much, and keep double jumping around then. If you're persistent, you'll survive for 55 seconds.

Event Match 14: Trophy Tussle 1
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): 3 Random
Arena: Goomba Trophy Fighting on the curvy head of a Goomba, you must defeat 3 opponents. Everybody has two lives, and winning will net you a Goomba Trophy.

The opponents are random, and the sloped surfaces of the Goomba is awkward to fight on. Muster every bit of skill you have to avoid falling off while dishing out attacks. Use items to your advantage, and guard the edge of the arena when possible to keep stubborn opponents from coming back.

Event Match 15: Girl Power
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Samus, Peach, Zelda
Arena: Fountain of Dreams
It's you versus the girls, and your character has been made smaller so they sound more female. Everybody has two lives.

This Event Match can be rather tricky, as Fountain of Dreams is a fairly small arena. Try to keep all your opponents on one side to prevent back attacks, and be careful. Your character is smaller and easier to KO than usual. Guard the edge of the arena whenever possible, and keep an eye out for helpful items.

Event Match 16: Kirby's Air-raid
Character: Kirby
Opponent(s): 10 Kirby
Arena: Corneria
As Kirby, you must dispatch 10 of your fellow men. The catch? You get 38 seconds to KO them all, and only Warp Stars will hurt them.

Your opponents do little more than pace back and forth across the Great Fox. Grab Warp Stars as the parade of puffballs draws near, and use the Control Stick to steer the star mid-air towards the group. It takes a bit of practice to pull this off, but you'll be able to finish this Event Match in no time once you've mastered it.

Event Match 17: Bounty Hunters
Character: Samus
Opponent(s): Captain Falcon, Bowser
Arena: Jungle Japes
As Samus, you must defeat Bowser before Captain Falcon does. You're unable to damage your fellow Bounty Hunter.

Captain Falcon is surprisingly powerful in this match. The downside to his power is that he occasionally KO's himself by accident. If that happens, the match is basically yours. If he does survive, though, keep grabbing Bowser away with your grappling hook and fling him away from Captain Falcon. Make sure you attack quickly, as Falcon is rather quick to steal your prey right from under your nose.

Event Match 18: Link's Adventure
Character: Link
Opponent(s): Link
Arena: Temple A battle seen only twice before in the Zelda series, Link must face off against his darker half. Dark Link is exactly like Link except for his appearance. You each have two lives.

If you're good with Link, this Event Match isn't too hard. Keep the battle near either side of the arena, and when Dark Link has enough damage, Spin Attack (up+B) him off the edge. If the battle is kept near the middle, you'll spend too much effort damaging him when it's not necessary.

Event Match 19: Peach's Peril
Character: Mario
Opponent(s): Bowser
Arena: Final Destination
You play the role of Mario the Bodyguard as Bowser makes an attempt to defeat Princess Peach once and for all. Defeating Bowser does nothing - your job is to keep you and Peach alive for one minute.

This Event Match requires persistence. Notice Peach's pattern - all she does is walk back and forth on the arena. Use her predictable nature to your advantage and hurl Bowser behind her. Avoid being damaged too much and keep Bowser out of Peach's face. If you start getting too damaged and the match is almost over, just let Bowser attack her. She can survive for a while. Make sure to use all the items available to your advantage.

Event Match 20: All-Star Match 2
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Samus, Link, Zelda, Captain Falcon, Fox
Arena: Varies
Basically the same setup as All-Star Match 1, you fight five different opponents in one-on-one matches. This time, your opponents are the realistic Nintendo stars.

The same advice for All-Star Match 1 applies. It's a true test of skill and endurance to defeat 5 opponents with two lives. It's not difficult if you use a character you've mastered.

Event Match 21: Ice Breaker
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): 2 Ice Climbers
Arena: Princess Peach's Castle
In one minute, you must defeat two pairs of Ice Climbers. Actually, you only need to defeat one pair - both pink Nanas. KOing a blue Popo will fail the match.

This Event Match is a lot like making eggs - you first must separate. Use regular attacks to eventually pry each pair apart, then send the Nana flying. The Ice Climbers do nothing more than jump up and down constantly, making them easy targets.

Event Match 22: Super Mario 128
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): 128 Tiny Mario
Arena: Mushroom Kingdom II It's just like an early GameCube demo that featured 128 Marios on-screen Only 5 appear at once, but in total you must defeat 128 of the little runts.

Although you get swarmed with a lot of Marios, they're really easy to KO. A single Strong attack is enough to send them off. As the match starts, jump up to either side of the arena and duck down. Keep using sweep attacks to KO the tiny plumbers. If they surround you, jump to the other side of the arena and commence the repeated sweep attacks again.

Event Match 23: Slippy's Invention
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Fox, Falco
Arena: Venom
It's you versus Fox and Falco, and everybody has two lives. However, Slippy created a permanent cloaking device that they both use, so it's really hard to see your attackers. (Funny, I thought the Skedar invented that thing...)

While it's hard to see your opponents, it's not impossible. You can catch glimpses of them as they move around, and they become semi-visible when they attack. Keep the battle on the lower wings, as it's easier to KO them there. Make sure that they're between you and the edge so they don't KO you by surprise. Fox and Falco are both light, so using smash attacks at the edge of the wings is a good way to KO them.

Event Match 24: The Yoshi Herd
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): 30 Yoshi
Arena: Yoshi's Island
You have 2 measly minutes to defeat an entire herd of 30 Yoshis. They're really weak, however, and easily KOed with certain attacks.

Find an attack that KOs the Yoshis in one hit and stick with it. They play rather defensively and wait for you to come to them. The arena is awkward to KO opponents in because of the sloped sides. Nonetheless, be persistent and aggressive, but be careful when around the center of the arena, as you can easily fall down without knowing it.

Event Match 25: Gargantuans
Character: Giant Bowser
Opponent(s): Giant DK
Arena: Fourside Atop the towering skyscrapers of Fourside, you must KO giant DK twice with only one life. A nice touch to this match are the tiny Mario and Peach characters that DK instantly destroys!

As if Bowser weren't already awkward enough to control, now he's bigger and more clumsy! Immediately take the battle to DK and attack him from the right side of the Monotoli Building, keeping DK on the building at the far right. Use a combination of attacks including down+A strong, down+A smash, forward+A strong/smash, down+B, and B. DK will often fall into the space between buildings and be unable to recover. If not, he can be smashed off to the side at about 300% damage.

link directly to this cheatAbout Event Mode (match 26 to match 51)

Here are the strategies for the remaining Event Matches, all the way to the final showdown with Giga Bowser...

Event Match 26: Trophy Tussle 2
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): 3 Random
Arena: Entei Trophy
The same as the last Trophy Tussle, this time you fight atop the Pokemon Entei Trophy.

The enemies are though to beat in this Event Match, except for one thing: one opponent will always stay to the left of the arena as if guarding Entei's head. Use that to your advantage and leave him/her alone until the other two are defeated. Once they're KOed, use items to bring the battle to the lone, territorial opponent. If you don't get too close, he/she often won't even try to retaliate until it's too late. Hit and run, hit and run... don't take too much time, though, because there IS a time limit.

Event Match 27: Cold Armor
Character: Samus
Opponent(s): 3 Metal Samus
Arena: Brinstar Depths
With a single life, you must defeat a team of 3 Metal Samus twice. Being metal, they're hard to send off the arena, but it's even harder for them to recover!

A simple trick will get you through this Event Match: Samus's down+A smash. Stand at the edge of the arena, facing your opponents. The down+A smash will sweep your opponents behind you, off the edge of the arena. They can be KOed like this at fairly low damage, but be careful. When the arena starts rotating, high-tail it to a safe spot.

Event Match 28: Puffballs Unite!
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): 14 Kirby
Arena: Green Greens
As the character of your choice, you must defeat 14 Kirbys, each with a copied ability. You have to be a speed demon to clear this, because you only get two minutes. That works out to 8.5 seconds a Kirby!

This works best with a strong character. When you start the match, head to either side of the arena, at the very edge. As the puffballs bound towards you, roll back and hit them with a strong smash. If you guard the edge you should be able to defeat a few of them at a time. Keep switching sides of the arena and use the above strategy to KO the Kirbys at an alarming rate.

Event Match 29: Triforce Gathering
Character: Link
Opponent(s): Ganondorf
Arena: Temple
As Link, you team up with Zelda to try and defeat the evil Ganondorf. You and Zelda get 1 life each while Ganondorf gets 2. If you haven't unlocked him already, after clearing this Event Match you'll get a crack at earning Ganondorf as a secret character.

Even though you're teamed up against a lone opponent, do not underestimate him. Ganondorf is slow but very powerful, and a death of either you or Zelda will fail the match. Attacking the Gerudo thief is really simple - make sure Zelda is on the other side of him when you start attacking, and you'll both pummel him into oblivion. Keep the match to the sides of the arena, as a Spin Attack will be able to KO him there.

Event Match 30: All-Star Match 3
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Kirby, Pikachu, Ness, Ice Climbers
Arena: Varies
The same setup as the previous All-Star matches, you're up against the smaller Nintendo stars this time.

This All-Star Match is pretty simple in that your opponents are all lightweight. They don't need too much damage to be sent soaring from the field of battle.

Event Match 31: Mario Bros. Madness
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Mario, Luigi
Arena: Mushroom Kingdom
Up against the Super Mario Bros. heroes, you must earn more points than them in two minutes.

Unlike most of the other Event Matches, you're playing for points in this, not lives. Therefore, you all get infinite lives, but you must achieve more KOs than them. What makes it simpler on your part is their team aspect - KO each of them once, and they'll have to KO you twice in order to catch up. Spend a bit of time damaging them, then lure them to the sides of the arena for quick KOs. Once you're in the lead, you can just kill some time if you don't feel like fighting.

Event Match 32: Target Aquired
Character: Falco
Opponent(s): Jigglypuff
Arena: Corneria
In one minute, try to KO Jigglypuff as much as you can. Your only real opponent is the team of Arwings that seems to want the 'puff dead more than you do. If Jigglypuff is KOed more by the Arwings than you, you fail.

Be firm and direct with your attacks. Avoid Arwing fire as much as possible and take out Jigglypuff as many times as you can. Spend little time damaging and more time smashing at the side of the arena. Keep her out of the air and use any items you can get your hands on.

Event Match 33: Lethal Marathon
Character: Captain Falcon
Opponent(s): N/A
Arena: F-Zero Grand Prix (Adventure Mode Stage)
As the speed-demon Captain Falcon, you must race through Adventure Mode's F-Zero Grand Prix stage in 45 seconds. As if that's not a challenge, the gameplay speed is cranked up, making control really awkward.

It helps to have played through Adventure Mode as Captain Falcon before. Practice dashing on double speed Training Mode, as it can be tricky to run unless you really hammer on that Control Stick. Here's the basic strategy for surviving: jump up to the fourth overhead platform you come by, and wait for the racers to whiz by. Keep running and wait on the platforms suspended over the water for another pass. After those two racer passes, the goal is in the clear.

Event Match 34: Seven Years
Character: Young Link
Opponent(s): Link
Arena: Great Bay
Seven Years really makes a difference in one's fighting style. As the quick and mobile Young Link, you must defeat the older incarnation of yourself, of whom is slower but more powerful. You each get 3 lives.

Players who are new to Young Link will find this Event Match impossible. With some practice, though, you'll be able to sort out his good and bad moves. Keep in mind that his forward+A smash doesn't send opponents flying, and you'll have to follow it up with another tap of A to dish out a real smash. His down+A smash is a good substitute. As for battling Link, try to keep the fight near the bottom of the arena. If you can knock him down into the water below the deck, he'll often be unable to recover.

Event Match 35: Time for a Checkup
Character: Luigi
Opponent(s): Dr. Mario, Peach
Arena: Yoshi's Story
In the happy Yoshi's Story environment, you get ambushed by Dr. Mario and his nurse Peach. You probably didn't pay your bill... either way, everybody has one life, and the difficulty has been cranked up.

The best way to beat this is practice. Not only is Luigi a weird character to start using, but Dr. Mario and Peach are surprisingly aggressive. Other than the little quirks mentioned above, it's a basic two-on-one match. Keep them on one side of you, and don't get double teamed. It's not wise to attempt Luigi's Fire Jump Punch or Green Missile because, hit or no hit, you'll be left vulnerable.

Event Match 36: Space Travelers
Character: Ness
Opponent(s): Samus, Kirby, Fox, Captain Falcon, Falco
Arena: Varies
As Ness, you must defend Earth from the likes of space travelers. You get only one life, but you only face one opponent at a time.

You must be very proficient with Ness to clear this Event Match. It starts off easy, but it quickly becomes difficult after KOing Kirby. You face your first 3 foes on Fourside, then the arena changes to Battlefield where you face the final 2 opponents. Both of these arenas present an opportunity to Meteor Smash your adversaries into gaps below, so if possible set it up. In Fourside, you can rake up cheesy KOs simply by tossing items or PK Fire at your foes as they jump across the gaps - they'll mid-air dodge then plummet straight down. Don't forget Ness's throw! It's more powerful than most other characters'.

Event Match 37: Legendary Pokemon
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): 4 Wireframe, Jigglypuff
Arena: Battlefield
With one life, you have to defeat 4 Wireframes and a Jigglypuff twice each. The catch? All the Pokeballs contain ultra-powerful, Legendary Pokemon! Clearing this Event Match gives you a chance to earn the baby Pokemon Pichu as a hidden character.

Although intimidating at first, with the right strategy this Event Match is a breeze. Focus not on KOing your foes with regular attacks - instead, just push them out of your way to grab every Pokeball you can find. They all contain extremely powerful Pokemon that will happily damage them for you! Since Jigglypuff is the only other character who'll collect Pokeballs, try to get rid of her first.

Event Match 38: Super Mario Bros. 2
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Mario, Luigi, Peach
Arena: Mushroom Kingdom II
Everybody has two lives, and you're against the Super Mario Bros. 2 crew (Toad isn't a playable character, by the way, just one of Peach's moves). To complete the ensemble, you're fighting in none other than the Super Mario Bros. 2 recreation arena!

As with any 3-on-1 match where you're the lone gunman, move around a lot to prevent double and triple team attacks. Mushroom Kingdom II is a death trap, as simple, weak attacks often spell doom because of the tight boundaries. Damage a little, smash a lot - you'll dish out quick KOs that way.

Event Match 39: Jigglypuff Live!
Character: Jigglypuff
Opponent(s): 3 Jigglypuff
Arena: Pokemon Stadium
It's the most adorable concert ever! Four Jigglypuff grab the center of Pokemon Stadium in an apparent fight for the microphone. Lucky you - 3 of them have decided to team up against you!

You can recognize your own 'puff by its lack of accessories. Nonetheless, 3-on-1 matches are hard enough without being forced to fight as a character you probably don't normally use. Be evasive and don't attack until it's safe. The 'puffs can easily get the better of you unless you set up correctly. Jigglypuff's most famous move, Rest, will only hit if the center of her body is touching the opponent(s), but if it hits they're outta there! Try using it when they're in clustered groups.

Event Match 40: All-Star Match 4
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Marth, Luigi, Jigglpuff, Mewtwo, Mr. Game & Watch
Arena: Varies
You're probably getting used to All-Star Matches, but this time you're against a slew of hidden characters.

Same strategy as all the other All-Star Matches applies, but it may be a good idea to get used to facing Mewtwo and Mr. Game and Watch, the characters you probably only recently unlocked to gain access to this Event Match.

Event Match 41: En Garde!
Character: Marth
Opponent(s): Link
Arena: Temple
As the mighty swordsman Marth, you must defeat Link in a battle of steel. You both have two lives and fight in the spacious Temple arena.

It's a standard 1-on-1 battle. It helps to practice Marth's moves a bit first. Take advantage of Marth's range and speed, and use the forward+A smash to finish off Link.

Event Match 42: Trouble King 2
Character: Luigi
Opponent(s): Giant Bowser
Arena: Poke Floats
As Luigi, face-off against Giant Bowser in the aerial arena Poke Floats. You each have two lives.

This is a lot more difficult than the first Trouble King match. If you lure Bowser to the edge of the arena, he'll sometimes butt-stomp right off the edge. The best strategy is to consistently attack Bowser with different smashes when he's at the edge. He'll often fall off. Beware: a single attack is all that's needed to KO you.

Event Match 43: Birds of Prey
Character: Fox
Opponent(s): Captain Falcon, Falco
Arena: Big Blue
Fox is forced to fight a team consisting of his fellow wingman Falco and the F-Zero master Captain Falcon. Everybody has two lives, and the action takes place upon the racing vehicles of the F-Zero Grand Prix.

This match can be excruciatingly difficult because of the speed of all the characters - Fox, Falco, and Captain Falcon are all very fast fighters. Get used to Fox, as his jumping is different from most of the other characters. Lure your opponents to the overhead platforms, then quickly roll and smash them into the side boundaries. Keep in mind that if you fall on the track, you have a second or two to jump back up before being forced off the arena.

Event Match 44: Mewtwo Strikes!
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Zelda, Mewtwo
Arena: Battlefield
The match starts off as a standard 1-on-1 battle - you versus Zelda. Mewtwo soon enters the fray, though, and you'll find out that KOing Zelda will fail the Event Match. Your objective is to KO Mewtwo before Zelda or Mewtwo do the same to you.

Although you can't KO Zelda, it helps to damage her and keep her out of the way for 15 seconds, after which Mewtwo appears. Focus on evading both of their attacks while giving Mewtwo the ol' KO.

Event Match 45: Game & Watch Forever!
Character: Mr. Game & Watch
Opponent(s): 25 Mr. Game & Watch
Arena: Flat Zone
As a red Mr. Game & Watch, you must defeat 25 of your weaker bretheren. You get 3 lives, and you play on your home soil: Flat Zone.

This is even easier than the final All-Star match because you get 3 lives. Just dish out constant smashes and your opponents will drop like flies.

Event Match 46: Fire Emblem Pride
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Marth, Roy
Arena: Temple

The two stars of Fire Emblem have joined forces against you. It takes place on the wide open landscape of the Hyrule Temple, and everybody has 3 lives.

Marth and Roy are very balanced fighters, but they do have their disadvantages. They lack projectiles, and they can't string together fast attacks easily. Attack them from the air and with projectiles - they won't stand a chance. If you attack them head-on, they'll give you a beating with skilled swordplay and counters.

Event Match 47: Trophy Tussle 3
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): 3 Random
Arena: Majora's Mask Trophy

It's the last battle for a trophy. This time, it's for the Majora's Mask trophy. The mask's numerous spikes sure make the battle intersting!

The trick to clearing this match is to not stay in one spot for too long. On either side of the mask, you're susceptible to being edge-guarded, and in the middle you'll be the victim of large combos. Use large-area attacks to damage your foes, and head to the edge of the mask to send 'em away.

Event Match 48: Pikachu and Pichu
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Pikachu, 2 Pichu
Arena: Dream Land
Pikachu's job is to protect its two babies. With two lives, you must KO both Pichu. KOing the Pikachu is a vain attempt, as it will not die.

This one is trickier than it looks. You're in for an extended shock treatment session against these little critters! They're all really aggressive, although you only have to KO the two lighter Pokemon. Watch out for their electric attacks, and get Pikachu out of your face so you have a chance to eliminate the two Pichu.

Event Match 49: All-Star Match Deluxe
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Dr. Mario, Falco, Pichu, Young Link, Roy, Ganondorf
Arena: Varies
The final All-Star Match is also the longest one. You face six opponents, of whom are all hidden clones of other characters.

This is a fairly easy Event Match, considering it's the third last one. You've already played against variations of these fighters before, so they shouldn't have too many nasty surprises for you.

Event Match 50: Final Destination Match
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Master Hand, Crazy Hand
Arena: Final Destination
If you've cleared Classic mode fast enough on Normal or Hard, you've already met these two skilled hands. With one life, you must deal 300% damage to each hand to KO them.

It really helps to have already memorized Master Hand's and Crazy Hand's attack patterns. They usually throw signals to each of their attacks, so keep an eye out for them and perform the necessary evasive maneuvers. Ganondorf is an excellent choice for this Event Match, as his up+A smash deals up to 50% damage. He's slow, but his strength is well worth it. Focus on one hand at a time, as the match gets much easier with only one hand slapping you around.

Event Match 51: The Showdown
Character: Your choice
Opponent(s): Ganondorf, Mewtwo, Giga Bowser
Arena: Final Destination
This is it! The final Event Match. Don't expect a cakewalk, though, because this is by far the most grueling test of skill yet. You're against a team consisting of a psychic master, a physical powerhouse, and a looming monster. Everybody has 3 lives, and you're on the most basic arena - Final Destination.

By far your most challenging adversary is Giga Bowser - he's completely ruthless. The character of choice for this Event Match is none other than Jigglypuff. Her down+B Rest move will KO Giga Bowser at really low damage, assuming you've lured him to the edge already. This Rest move takes considerable practice to pull off. Jigglypuff's center of gravity needs to be near another character's center of gravity. Activate this attack when you're floating directly through an opponent. Because of his size, Giga Bowser is the easiest character to hit with the Rest move. Once he's done for, you should have enough stamina left to survive Mewtwo and Ganondorf. At this phase of the battle, items should be your number 1 goal.

link directly to this cheatAdventure Mode: F-Zero Stage Help

These are some tips for some characters who can use one of their special moves to increase their running speed. This is for if you want to get through the F-Zero Stage quickly.

Here's the tips:

Yoshi: Yoshi isn't a slow runner, but he does have an attack that helps his speed. That would be Egg Roll. (Side+B) He will get into an egg and roll at high speed!

Jigglypuff: Jigglypuff is obviously one of the slowest runners. The attack for some speed is Roll Out. (B) If you fully charge it, Jigglypuff will roll at high speed!

Zelda: This might not be a very good tip. But the tip is to transform into Sheik. Zelda is one of the slowest runners too. But Sheik has some good running speed.

For Yoshi and Jigglypuff, be sure not to fall off the stage because you can't recover. With Yoshi immediately press B to get out of the egg before you fall off. With Jigglypuff you can turn around. Or if you don't think you should use Roll Out anymore, just run and jump through the pit. And that's my tips. I might find more.

link directly to this cheatAHH! EVENT MATCH 50 AND 51!

EVENT MATCH 50:

(this is the one with the master hands: left and right)

Ok, what i did was use Captain Falcon's Smash up-A attack against the hands. Start with the crazy hand on the left, because his attacks are more powerful, and it is better to get him out of the way first. Most of their attacks are easy to dodge with either Shield+down or Jump+R dodges. some even work with Shield+left/right, but its harder to time. dodge all the attacks you can. when either hand has just executed an attack, it will float back to it's origional position in a few seconds; this is the time to go to the spot where he will be, and charge up his attack to hit him with an even more powerful blast when he gets back. it took me a lot of tries to clear this, but it is still a very useful strategy.

EVENT MACH 51:

(this is the one with Mewtwo, Giga Bowzer, and Ganondorf.)

The three contestents are all level 9's, i believe, but that is only from experience. So choose Jigglypuff in the character selection. first off, we wanna get rid of that ugly old gigabowzer, right? So, you will want to do the following. you start off on the left side, so jump up with 4 or 5 jumps and then float (or Side+B attack, it helps you fly farther) to the other side. Use Jigglypuff's Down+B attack when you are floating right on his head (or touching him at all). Repeat this, but try to avoid Mewtwo and Gannondorf while G. Bowzer is off the stage by jumping over like before. After you've K.O.d him three times, then you will be doing alot of jumping from side to side, again as before. you can attempt to either Down+B attack them, B attack (rollout, fully charged) or just try staying above them. make sure you get high enough over their heads, or Gannondorf will up+B you, sending you flying, Mewtoo will attack you with various attacks. while jumping over them over and over, wait for items to appear. any itms will do. when you are directly above them, hit Z+Down to throw it at them. hopefully this will damage them slightly. once you find a bomb, leave it (try to avoid it, even, because you don't want to be blown up!) and let it walk over to them and blow them up. motion censors work too, but throw them towards the middle, in case you accidentilly step on it on the edge. this gets really boring; it took me about 8 minutes to complete it. FINAL DESTINATION, HERE I COME!

good luck!

K so choose DK and just...do Down B and keep tapping B until they all gone, but a word of caution, they get smarter and harder to beat as it goes along so make sure to keep in the center of the stage and get the items like hammers, pokeballs, etc.

When your opponent comes to you you, use your smash-right/left attack. If they don't die, hit them again.

If they are above you, use the smash-up attack.

Using the "B" button will help a lot on Dr. Mario, Pichu, Roy, and Gannondorf.

There's another way 2 beat master & crazy hand.
Use Samus. She's a very strong character and well recommended. Power up her B moveto full (unless they start attacking). Also, use her Across (left or right)+B or do wotever it takes 2 beat them. I cannot stress it enuff 2 block and dodge. Be quick on your toes and think fast before doing things. You can also use Pikachu/Pichu and use their Down+B move. Out of those 2, I would use Pikachu because, although Pichu is stronger, his electric attacks hurt him aswell and makes him weaker, therefore becoming more easy 2 kill. Good luck (you'll really need it)

There is another easier way to win this match than the Jigglypuff cheat. Use Fox or Falco, then at the start, jump and then do the B+Up attack (Fire Fox), do this almost in the entire match its easier to take down GB cuz he's gigantic-sized, but you gotta be careful with Ganondorf, cuz if you're on mid-air, he'll use the B+Up attack, and take you out easily, he did it to me every time. When GB is out, take out either Mewtwo or Ganondorf, but you better take out Mewtwo carefully because Ganondorf gonna still keep using de B+Up attack. When Mew2 is out, take down Ganondork... I mean Ganondorf. I did it with Falco, because he jumps higher than Fox and Falco's B+Up attack is stronger than Fox's. But you can use your best character and come up with your own strategies. I failed like 5 or 8 times, its pretty hard. Good luck! Its not easy! I say this sometimes: Its easier said than done.

link directly to this cheatBomb Hopping

An excellent way to recover using Samus is a technique called "Bomb hopping." To perform it, one must, in the air, press down+b to deploy a bomb. Immediately after this is done, keep pressing down+b to lay another bomb. You may notice that she pauses a little in the air when she deploys bombs. Knowing this, you'll be able to be in the spot where the first bomb explodes. When this happens, Samus will sort of "hop," and you can use the brief time that she bounces off the explosion to maneuver in the air and go a desired direction. Doing it multiple times is a great way to recover.

How to destroy encased target.

Once you wall jump out of the "tube" that you're stuck in, you should land at the top of it. Go to the right wall of the tube. when standing on it, face away from the encased target(it is sounded by bricks left and right, and wood down and up). Use your boomerang away from the target, and when you're about to catch it, jump. It will go under you and hit the target. Don't jump to early, or you'll miss the target(It curves upward when you jump).

If you play metroid u must know that saumus can wall jump, but in break the targets young link has the hardest one. First you have to wall jump all the way up but that's not the hardest part. You might reallize a target is in a platform. There is only 1 way to get it and thats with his boomerang. The boomerang can go through the wood but not the bricks. You will need a lot of control. Shoot the boomerang under the platform, then quickly jump on the platorm so the boomerang can follow you upwards then it will hit the target.

link directly to this cheatBrinstar Depths

In Brinstar Depths, where you have a rotating battle ground that's smacked by Kraid (That giant aligator-like monster), there's a point to where, if your character stinks at jumping, you're stuck on the bottom of the battleground on a single floating platform. Now, I'm not sure which platform it is, but when it's at the bottom of the stage and those blue pillars are to your left horizontally, there's a point where you can jump through the stage right under that pillar closest to you. And, you can end up anywhere as long as you still have both your second jump and recovery move; and I mean ANYWHERE! If you're Peach you can float towards that beating heart-like thing and take a snapshot of her there in camera mode, and then safely return anywhere you want to be.

It's a glitch, and it's big enough for any character to fit through, so, when you're at that dire situation of no return, jump through that stage and amaze everyone and anyone you're playing with! And so far, I think I'm the only one that found out this amazing and useful glitch. It takes a while to find the perfect spot, but it'll be worth it when you come out of nowhere and smash into your unsuspecting friends with your sword, parasol, crown, fist, anything your character is capable of.

Have fun!

First, go to Mushroom Kingdom 1 with Mr. Game And Watch and Kirby. All you have to do is make Kirby suck up Mr. Game And Watch. I know what you're thinking. But there's more to it. Make Kirby go to the top row of blocks and just press B and hold it down. Then, press L or R to shield and roll any direction. Then hold B again. when you stop, your pan should be gray. If you taunt, you still have it. Even when you die or copy someone else's power you have the pot in your hands. This also works in Green Greens. Try it. It's cool.

Note: You can't attack someone with it unless you grab someone with Z and press either Z again or press A. I'm not lying because I've done it before.

Have Player 1 be Mario and Player 3 be normal colour Ness and have a CPU Yellow ness in the P2 slot. Try not to move alot or jump if you're P3. Make sure the stage is Hyrule Temple and as Mario just Up+B the CPU Ness and if the CPU Ness drops down to P3's level(only use smashes as P3) they'll just get flung upwards if they get too close. Just pound the CPU and in around 2 minutes you'll get around 10 kills. P3 isn't quite necessary but it saves you leaping around the overly-large stage trying to find the CPU ness.

Hint: Try and get the CPU Ness up on the rooftop over the large corridor then it's SSBM heaven for him.

Having trouble completeing Event 50? Well here's a way to beat it:

Choose Ganondorf as you character. Use aerial attacks on Crazy Hand. I recommend his Aerial Up + A and his Aerial Down + A ( < Does heavy damage!).

When the Crazy Hand tries to punch you into Master Hand, jump and press the R button. Do the same when they use other attacks similar.

Try to get a lot of damage when they're using their laser attacks, that's the best time I believe for damaging them.

Well, its simple really, go tword the edge of the stage, when there, start jumping. Go up all 5 times so everyone is under you. Then Down+B once it hits all of them, quickly hit B again, and fly back up in the air 5 times, then keep doing it over and over again till they are around 100-200%. Then, back away from them, Hold B to suck one up, and hit A when they get close to you, then smash attack the last one you shot out of you. It will give you some easy good kills.

Getting annoyed of being killed by Giga Bowser and Mewtwo and Gannondorf? Well, pick Jigglypuff for your character. Then when the match starts, hit giga boswer like 3 times. (Normal attacks) then jump on to his head or somewhere near his chest and use down+b, giga will go sailing. Do this until he runs out of lives (Try not to die)
Now the real battle begins... Fly over Mewtwo and Gannondorf, high enough so Gannondorf cant use his up+b attack on you. go to the edge of the arena, and when Mewtwo and Gannondorf follow you, fly to the other edge, then press and hold b until you start to shine, and ram them. Continue this until you knock them silly out of the arena. Items to look out for are:

Super Scopes
Bomb-ombs
Green Shells
Super Sensor Bombs
Freezies (buys you time)
Mr. Saturn (Because hes fun to use)

And if you want, pick up a poke ball, but you might get an electrode or wabbufet, or another useless pokemon.

While doing event 51, Peach is probably the only character that can use little to no effort to defeat Mewtwo, Ganondorf, and Giga Bowser. Use Peach and just float off the edge whenever your enemies get close to you. If Mewtwo is in front of the other two and starts charging up his Dark Ball attack, Ganondorf and Giga Bowser will continue walking forward and push him off the edge. After he falls off the edge, float over Ganondorf and Giga Bowser and land on the platform on the other side of them. Continue doing this until Mewtwo loses all 3 lives. If you time your jump, you might also make Ganondorf try to use his Up B attack on you and he will fall off the edge if Giga Bowser is close enough to the edge with him. Once both Ganondorf and Mewtwo are dead, just defeat Giga Bowser (it's fairly easy to defeat him along as he is a large target). Peach's Down A attack also can do a lot of damage to heavier ene
