FIFA 2004 Cheats & Tips

If you want to buy a player, bid for them about 1 or 2 million above the asking price. This ensures you of signing that player.

In the first year, it is almost impossible (unless you bid over 5 million above the asking price) to buy Thiery Henry, David Becham, Ronaldo, and Del Piero.

When you pick up the ball with your player on the half way line, start sprinting towards the goal. When you get to 2/3 of the pitch, slow down and start walking. There should be a defender there but he won't be doing anything; just cautiosly watching. Then when you enter the last quarter of the pitch, take a half powered shot and goal. With any luck it should go in.

Go to the options menu then to "Player Swaps". Swap all the good players desired onto the team you want to play as, then save that as a squad. Call it whatever desired. Then go to "New Season" and select "Current Squads" and play your team. This is useful for a third division team. This team now has all the good players.

Reach level 5 in your EA Bio to unlock most teams' third kits.

Connect your GBA while playing FIFA to have a personal scoreboard and to unlock the following cheats;

Big Ball - Ball is massive
Flying - Players without ball act as if flying
Walls - The ball can't leave the pitch as its
- surrounded by an invisible wall

When you start a match press start and switch sides. Then score as many goals as you want in your own goals and then just before the end of the 90:00 minutes switch sides once again and return to your orginal side.
