Bomb bag expanded

On your way to Restoration Wall to fix the Tuni Nut (Level 4), you'll push a red rock that changes the landscape. Once this happens, go back through the cave and return to the time hole above.
Go down the ladder near the hole, then get next to the vine sprout. Play your Harp here to send things back to the present. When you arrive, climb the vine to a cliff with a small pool of water on it. There is a sign here that tells you not to throw anything in the water. You like to break the rules, right? Chuck a Bomb into the center of this pool. A floating eye with wings will appear and ask you what you threw in. Tell him you tossed in a regular Bomb. He'll expand your Bomb bag to hold 30.

Boss Tip: Octon

Octogon is a big, wet squid who will take the fight to you above the surface of the water, then go below to brawl some more. His main tactic is to circle you as you stand on the central platform, shooting projectiles at you or arching fireballs. Later, he'll submerge and you'll have to follow him below the waves. His attack here isn't too severe--he'll just try to encase you in a bubble and take the fight back up top.
Use either your Noble Sword (which you should have by now after completing the Trading Items quest. See the Items section of this guide) or the Seed Shooter and dodge his projectiles. The beauty of the Noble Sword is that you can knock down what he's shooting at you while you prepare to attack. When he stops shooting projectiles at you, dive into the water, because he's about to unleash some fiery fury.

While underwater, watch out for his bubbles, as they'll sting you and send you back above the water. Use the power of your Mermaid Suit to quickly circle him, peppering the squid with rounds from your Seed Shooter. When he's taken enough abuse, he'll go back upstairs and you can follow him. Repeat this pattern until he's belly up.

Eye soar

This flying peeper won't pose too many problems. His only attack is to send his little eyeball minions at you, and they are easily taken down with a simple sword. Killing the smaller eyeballs will give you a path to Eyesoar himself. When they are clear, use your Switch Hook to trade places with him. He will be stunned for a moment, allowing you to swoop in and slice at him. Repeat this process until he drops.

Giant Cucco

This is mostly for kicks, but if you keep hitting a cucco over and over again with your sword for... a really long time, eventually, a swarm of them will start attacking you. True, this happens in many Zelda games, but if you use a Mystery seed on the one you were attacking, it'll become really big. You can even keep hitting that one if you really want to, and it will finally come after you, and do a lot of damage, so be careful! It's still pretty funny, though.

Linked Game:Defeat Twinrova

First, go through the portal by the Maku tree. Go north. When you get to the weird eye blocks, wait for them to stop moving and go in the direction that none of the eyes are pointing. Do this about six times or so, and you'll see 2 rows of blocks. Go north. Zelda is laying at the altar. Before you reach it, the screen goes wavy and the the Gerudo witches, Koume and Kotake start flying. Bat the blue balls into the red witch with your sword and vice versa. Once she joins together, the background will become lava or ice. Spin attack her until she becomes 2 colors. Hit her with a Scent seed.Do this a couple of times, and Twinrova will give up, but she sacrifices herself to revive Ganon. Once he starts battling, hit him with the Master Sword. If you don't have it, a bushel of spin attacks will do fine. If the floor turns blue, up is down and down is up. The same goes for right and left. Eventually, Ganon will disintegrate leaving a staircase. Go up and rescue Zelda.

Plasmarine

Plasmarine is another deep sea lowlife that will need some serious sorting. He is impervious to normal weapons. In fact, all that they do to him is change his color. Plasmarine will scoot around the area spitting fireballs.
Like most Bosses, Plasmarine can be beaten using the item you picked up in the Dungeon. Wait for the big lug to spit a fireball at you, then aim the Long Hook at him and switch. He will trade places with you and land on his own fireball. Hah! You'll have to do this six times until Mr. Fishypants dies.

Shadow hag tips

The fight against Shadow Hag takes a considerable amount of cunning on your part, and some good shooting in the end. The Hag does not like to be seen. If you look at her, she will turn to shadow. Actually, four shadows. You'll have to dodge these as they zip and weave around the arena. Eventually, the old girl will come back together. When this happens, she'll puff out some butterflies at you, then attempts to get behind you and charge.
To beat her, you'll have to avoid being seen. First, dodge the shadows until she comes back together. Then, quickly hack up the moths, facing away from the Hag. Just as she begins to charge from behind, shoot a Seed into the wall in front of you, deflecting it into the charging Hag. Then, quickly move out of the way. Do this six times and the shadowy biddy will drop. Grab your Heart Container, then claim the Echoing Howl.

Spider in the Black Tower

This is great when you are playing a linked game...
You do not need to use bombs on the spider! Use the biggoron sword instead. It's much easier to control and you are less likely to be sucked in by the "tongue" or blue web.

Tip Pumpkin head

For a jack-o-lantern, this guy's pretty nimble. But he's easy to beat, as long as you know what to do. The Head will leap around the arena, trying to land on you. If he does, you'll lose some Heart, so watch out for his stompin'. He'll also shoot fireballs at you, so avoid getting too close to him. Otherwise, these attacks are simple to avoid.
The object of this fight is to separate the head from the body. To do this, charge in and whack him with your sword. If you hit him enough, his head will fall to the floor and a small fiery spirit will emerge. When this happens, use your Bracelet to lift the head and chuck it at the little fireball. When you successfully hit him twice this way, the fight well end.

Tip: Angler Fish

The Angler Fish is not much of a threat. He'll swim around the cavern, spitting bubbles. If they come into contact with your skin, they'll smart, but they're easily avoided simply because they move so damn slow. Make sure you have Roc's Feather equipped to leap out of the way of the bubbles and the Fish. In the other fist, equip the Seed Shooter with Scent ammo. If you score a hit on the Angler, he'll collapse and fall to the floor. This is your cue to run in and start whacking him with the Sword. You'll probably only have to do this three times to kill him.

Tip: Armos Warrior

The Armos Warrior rolls strapped with a large sword and shield. He'll use both to try to trample you, so stay out of his way. The Armos Warrior's main attack is to throw his sword at you. It will spin around the arena, following you until he grabs it again.
But you can use his mighty sword against him. As soon as he throws it, look to scoot around behind him. Since the blade homes in on you, it will fly into the Warrior if you're behind him. Do this three times to crack his Shield. After this is gone, the Armos Warrior will resort to bombs. Without his shield, you can get at him with the Seed Shooter. Just avoid his bombs and peg him with Seeds until he drops for good.

Tip: Death Stalfos

The Death Stalfos is all about the death. I mean, the word is in his name.Like most bosses, DS likes to chuck energy balls. Most of them will ding you good, but the jumbo ones will turn you into a baby, significantly slowing you down and leaving you vulnerable to DS's attacks.
To combat the big baddie, you'll have to redirect DS's attacks back at him. Equip your Sword and use it to swat the Stalfos' various attacks back in his grill. When you hit him with a big ball, he will turn into a baby bat, and you can swoop in and nail him with the Sword. Hit him thrice-like when he's a bat and the fight will end.

Tip: Final Boss

Veran: Part 1
Veran's battle is split into three parts. The first of these plays a lot like the last time you met her (when you freeed Nayru). Use the Mystery Seed to stun her, then use the Long Switch to displace her, then run in and swing with your Sword.
Two things have changed. Firstly, Veran is much quicker and wary of you getting too near. Secondly, she's got spiders at her command now which will try to slow you down. Hack them out of your way to get to her andd use the pattern described above to beat this form. Once you do, Veran will split from Ambi and get much uglier.

Veran: Part 2
Veran has turned into an insect, and she's surrounded herself with four circling Link golems. These move counter to your movement, so be careful to avoid them.Veran will float around the room and pepper you with fireballs. To deal with her golems, hack at them with the Sword like you did with the Hardhat Beetles during the Restoration ceremonies. This will pack them into a group and make them easier to deal with.

Move to the periphery to take on Veran. She likes to flit from one side of the room to the other, and she's easier to hit if you aren't in the center. As you're moving around avoiding fireballs, charge your Sword. That way, when the bug gets near you, you can really let her have it with the Sword. Once you whack her six times with spin attacks, she'll transmute again. You've won! Nope... even though you take the ceremony outside, a Wallmaster snatches you and plops you down into a dank dungeon.

Veran: Part 3
Veran is ticked off now. She's fully shifted into her beastly form, which breaks down into three insect flavors. She'll freely change between them during the course of the fight and you'll need to know how to handle them all. You'll know when she's about to die, because she will shift forms much faster. Have at it!

Beetle Form
As the Beetle, Veran likes to pound the ground by leaping in the air and smashing anything below her. Your job is to avoid the shadow as it's coming down, but to be close enough to strike when she falls. When she lands, she'll show her face for a second. Hit her mug with your Sword until she balls up and repeats the pounding or changes forms.

Spider Form
The Spider form is hard to predict simply because Veran has a large range of motion. She can disappear and attack from above or shoot webs at you from across the room. Keep your distance, but don't get as far away as the opposite end of the room. Whenever she lands, use a Bomb to sting her, bringing out her face. When it's exposed, run in and swipe at it with the Sword.

Bee Form
When Veran switches to the Bee fom, she'll gain a lot of speed. You'll have to watch out for long-range stinger attacks. Avoid these by dropping to the bottom of the room and moving laterally to dodge them. She'll also try to encircle herself with smaller bees. Treat this like the very first Mini-Boss you faced in the game. Kill her bees to get to her. Lastly, shell charge at you and simply try to damage you with her body. Don't get crowded into a corner, or you'll take massive damage.

Your best bet with the Bee is to move around the room, avoiding her attacks and getting a swat in from time to time. It's likely that Veran won't remain the Bee for long. You can also hit this form with the Seed Shooter, so keep that in mind if you want to attack from distance.

Be prepared for any form at any time. Keep your Seed Shooter and Sword handy and just stay on your toes, and you'll be the victor.

Tip: Giant Ghini

The Giant Ghini is no sweat. He really doesn't have much of a defense system, except for the orbiting fireballs that accompany him. If one hits you, it will hang on like a Wisp, but that is the only thing that should slow you down.
Hack at the fireballs quickly to expose a path to the Giant Ghini. When his companions are down, slash at the main guy with your Sword as fast as possible. It will only take about two or three passes to put him down.

Tip: Mini boss

Vire is a slippery little biscuit, but can be defeated with common household items (ie your Wooden Sword). He'll come at you with three separate energy attacks. All of these can be abtted down with your Sword, so they don't pose much of a threat. The red ones stay as single balls, but the yellow ones split into four balls and the blue ones always come at you in twos. Just keep pumping that Sword button and you should stay safe.
To get at Vire, patrol the outside ring of the arena and slash at him as he scoots from edge to edge. Each time you take a chunk out of him, he'll get a little speedier. After about three solid thwackings, he will become a pair of bats. Hit these once and Vire will be no more.

Tip: Mini boss

Swoop is a wing'd beast with only one means of attack: dropping on you from above. You'll have to be quick to defeat him, as he doesn't stay on the ground long. The other thing you have to watch out for is that every time Swoop touches down, he opens a pit in the floor. If you are careless and fall through, you'll fall to a lower level of the Dungeon and have to make your way back upstairs to continue the fight.
Your best bet is to memorize the time Swoop spends in the air. He always flaps a specific amount of time before dive-bombing you. When he does finally drop to the turf, he will bounce a couple of times, so be on your toes. As the battle goes on, Swoop will bounce three times, so make sure you stay out of his way for each bounce. He will come to rest momentarily, and that's when you need to charge in and slash at him. If you can hit him with a charged-up swat, more the better. If you can stick to the outer edge of the room, you can avoid Swoop making holes altogether, as the outer rim is impervious to his cannonballing

Tip: Ram Rock

Ramrock is a big steel head. You'll have to use your entire arsenal of items to battle him, and his fight takes place in four parts.
Ramrock: Part 1
In Part one of the battle, Ramrock will toss his hands at you. If they hit you, they'll take a chunk of Hearts, so don't let them. Instead, equip your Sword and bat them away. The idea here is to use his own hands against him. Your job is to mirror his movements on the lower half of the room. However, as he nears a wall, stop a few spaces away. As he rebounds off the wall, he'll send his hands at you. Hit them back up into him and he'll shudder in agony. Nail him three times and it'll be time for Part 2.

Ramrock: Part 2
Ramrock likes to use his hands. This time, he'll break away from his track at the top of the room and approach you directly. He'll try to get you between his outstretched palms and crush you inside. Simply run around him. When he opens his hands, chuck a Bomb in there. As he closes his mitts, the Bomb will go off, taking a chunk of him with it. Keep him towards the north side of the room, as it's easier to scoot under him to place Bombs. After three explosions, Ramrock will change his approach.

Ramrock: Part 3
In Part 3 of the fight, the steel-clad menace will retreat inside a shield. He's back up to his old track along the top wall. This time, he'll pop out only to shoot either energy balls or lasers at you. The balls are easy enough to avoid, but the lasers can be nasty. If he brings those out, run to the opposite wall and cling there. The only way to get at him is with the Seed Shooter. Any Seeds will work. Wait until he moves past, then get up near the top wall and wait for him to bounce back. As he comes toward you, deflect a shot off of the top wall, angling it into him. Five Seeds in the gullet will cause him to switch to his fourth form.

Ramrock: Part 4
No more Mr. Nice Guy. Ramrock drops his shields in favor of a pair of large wrecking ball hands. Lucky for you they move pretty slow and are easy to dodge. The way to beat him here is to equip your Power Glove. As he tries to slam you with one wrecking ball, go to the other one and begin to pull it (as you would a pulley). Pull it all the way out, then let go and it will recoil and hit the big lug in the face. You'll have to do it three times before Ramrock says ni-night for good. Make sure you collect your Heart Container and the Falling Star Essence.

Tip: Smasher

Remember the Great Moblin? I do. This fight is very similar, except that instead of fighting a large pig, you're scrapping with something that looks a lot like the unholy union of a manta ray and a demolition ball. Smasher (snappy name, huh?) will pick up the large, heavy ball that materializes in the arena and chuck it at you, just as the G'd up Moblin did. Your job is to avoid the ball and pick it up yourself, with the Bracelet, of course. Wait for him to throw it, run to the ball and heft it, then run at him and throw it. Don't hang on too long, though. The ball eventually fades. Hit Smasher five times and he'll drop like so much seafood.

Tip: Smog

To fight Smog, you'll need your Cane of Somaria and your Sword. The boss starts in several pieces and you have to use the power of the Cane to bring them together. Once this is done, you can run in and slash at Smog with your mighty sword. If you don't like the way the way things are going, you can always stomp on the button in the upper left corner of the room. This will refresh the puzzle.
1: There are two Smog Bits in the first puzzle, zipping around T-shaped blocks. Avoid the Smog Bits and place a Somaria block in the dead center of the two puzzles, making Smog whole again. Watch out for his lightning breath when he comes back together and get in his face with your Sword. When you smite him, you'll be taken to another puzzle.
2: This time there are three Smog Bits. First place a Somaria block left of the bottom block on the far right column. This should bring the first two Bits together. Now the two remaining pieces will be moving around their block columns in a circular fashion toward one another. As one of them rounds the top of the column, place a block on either the right or left column at the very top position, making Smog reconvene. Take him down with your sword.
3. The idea for this puzzle is to get the two Smog Bits that are tracking along the long, horizontal rows to the left and right to circle the single blocks. To achieve this, place a block at the end of each row near the single block. As the Smog Bit approaches, place another block one space up, sending it to the single block. When each is orbiting its single block, Smog will combine. Bit him with your Sword.
4. Like the second puzzle, the fourth requires you to join three parts. Work on the center portion first, tossing a block between the upper block of the diagonal and the right, vertical column. This will force the two pieces together. Now move to the left. As the Smog Bit circles the left column, put a Somaria block to the right of the bottom block on this column, then (as the Smog Bit begins to follow this pattern) put another block just right of the one you just made. Put another block just to the right of this two-square, moving the Smog Bit onto the diagonal portion, putting Smog back together for good. Now kill him with your sword.

Tip: Subterror

Subterror is easily defeated, once you know his spiel. Since he is a mole, he spends a good deal of time underground. To track his progress, just take a look at the moving lump of soil. The only way Subterror can hurt you is if he pops up under you and getsyou with his corkscrew nose.
To defeat him, equip your Shovel and Sword. Track the mound around the map. Whenever it gets close to you, use the Shovel to quickly dig it up. When it appears aboveground, use your Sword to hack at it until it goes back underground. All you have to do is repeat this process until Subterror dies.

toilet

If you go to past Lynna City, you can go to the toilet on the west side of the city. If you go in, a hand comes up out of the hole and you can talk to it. before you trade the 'Stationary' it will say-"P-paper! Do you have any paper?", and after the trade-"Yay!". You can also throw things in, and the hand will respond accordingly ;D

the things and responses are:
1.ember seed- "Ooo...hot!"
2.mystery seed- "Wh-what?!?"
3.scent seed- "Ewwww!"
4.bombs- explosion and "Koff!"
5.the pot- "Nooooo!"

You can also throw gale seeds. most people say its impossible, but i have managed it. you have to walk into the hole and drop it right as you're falling. It's very hard, and i dont recomend it if you dont have very many hearts. It will say- "My head spins!" It is impossible to throw a pegasus seed though, seeing as you use it instantly.

Go to where your starting point would be in the Present. Notice the holes in the ground? Use the Switch Hook and the tilted blocks to get across. Move down the coast until you find a small shack. The Zora inside will give you a Broken Sword for your Ukelele.

13. Fix the Sword
To get the Broken Sword made whole again, go back to Restoration Wall and talk to Patch. He'll have you participate in another fixing ritual (like the one you did to get the Tuni Nut fixed). Once you successful complete the slightly harder ceremony, your Sword will be fixed... into a Noble Sword!

GBA Special

you can get into the Secret 100 Rupee Advance Shop in Oracle of Ages. Simply plug this Game Boy game into your GBA and go to the house with the two doors in the village (shown below, left screenshot). On the GBC, the right door will be locked. On the GBA, you can march right in. The shopkeeper will welcome you and explain how only GBA players can access this store -- and as a special service, you can buy items here for 100 Rupees each. While some of the items are available elsewhere, you can also get a special Ring that's only availabe to GBA owners.

Get stuck on the wall

In the town go to the mailmans and hit the shelves you will see that the shelves has two part(Only if you stand near them then do a spin attack). You will see buttons that are pressed already. When youclear the path ago through the srceen. You will get transported to the guy that makes rafts but you will be stuck on the wall.Save before you do this.If you do the spin attack on the shelves, there is going to be a small part othe shelf,if you push it,it willturn into a pot .

MOD EDIT: It would appear this is the only place you can do this... and the carpet tiles in the lower-left corner also correspond to the placement of these "trick shelves". The switches are pushed down... but could it be that there's a way to "un-push" them? Note: You need a Noble Sword (L-2) or higher to perform this trick, as a Hero's Wooden Sword will not cut pottery or wood .

Start a fun linked game

When you start up a new game, enter this password to start a Hero's game:

NNNN NNNN NNNN NNNN

You will automatically begin with 4 hearts instead of 3, have the linked icon next to your name, and start with both your sword, shield and an extra ring (note the extra ring is only there when you obtain the ring box from Vasu)
