When you first turn on the game, hold all the button down until the "continue" choice shows up.Then, go into the character selection and beat all level 1 duelists to add all the cards with CYBER in their names to your trunk.Have Fun!!!
Tristan is the easiest opponent on Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship Tournament 2004.Defeat him and all the tier 1 dualists 20 times and then continue; when you need Seto Kaiba you have already defeated them so you can get him straight away.
Fight Tristan (he's the easiest). When you beat him pick the pack with the Black Luster Soldier on it. NOTE: the only cards it gives you are ritual and ritual magic cards.
To get a much better deck at the beginning is hard, so I suggest that you should defeat Tristan 100 times or more before you try the harder people, then you have more cards and you can get better ones to suit your type of deck.
I like to make decks based on attributes. This is my light attribute deck I use on the game, it's a very good deck, although it could need some improvements to battle duelists above the Ghouls.
