this tip is even for beginners-beat duke a few times putting up a high ante and he will eventually give you "heavy storm"- get two and face yugi or joey in the shop using one of the two heavy storms as an ante... yugi will cough up exodia pieces, or the high ante card spellbinding circle. spellbinding circle has a cost of 180, so beginners can win some pretty good cards to start out with! (as for joey, he'll give you strong monsters like battle warrior and mountain warrior)
when you have beaten marik go back to paradox. you now have to verse him 5 times. beat him four times then lose on purpose, and keep doing that about 10 times your will have alot of money because paradox can give you monsters that can get you about 2000 bucks so the more your do it the more you get
after beating the rich guy on the boat, you can duel mai. just stock your deck with plenty of forset monsters, because 75% of her monsters are wind types...also add a couple of water monsters for her fire type "mavelus", and some fire types for her "niwatori"...if you use spellbinding circle as an ante, (i posted an easy was to get it), she'll give you a pretty good card, and like 800 domino
if you are sturggling to get through the the game start putting monsters like dark flare knight (13722870)and vampire lord(53839837) in your deck. your need to be level 150 for dark flare knight and 180 something cant remember for vampire lord. when you discard either one you get that monster or another summonded to the field. dark flre knight = 2800 attack monster and vampire lord just comes up the next turnps. newdoria can destroy a monster at start of turn if destroyed
bet kuriboh against Joey and you will get cards like salamandra and kuni with chain and thousand dragon and flame swordsman
when you defeat marik and he reserects the Ra (Battle mode), and you go to china then paradox plays that game. When you duel the guys in the black robes, put up an ante card and the will give you a divine monster most of the time, then go to the game shop and seel the card to gramps and you will get about 2000domino!

after beating marik go to china vs paradox you have to beat 5 guys first {they use thunder ,light , and fiend so use earth, shadow, and light monsters}each guy gives you a card kuribo is first remember the cards at the end when you see paradox he will ask you do you know what the cards are for tell him you do {they stand for each level kuribo level 1 time wizard level 2 so on until you have 5 cards} after you answer the question beat him then go talk to marik he will change it from battle mode to pheonix mode

Some of the best cards like in real life dueling are often the weaker cards. Hourglass of courage is a good card, so is doron and the witchs apprentice. Using 3 of each will mean that you can potentially boost a dark type by 3000 attack points, and porons replecate themselves, making easy but strong tributes at the start of the game.Also, trap cards cost next to nothing in this game. Fill half your deck with trap cards and not only will you do better tactically, but you will save points and wipe out strong opposition monsters.

#1: Yugi gives out Spellbinding Circle and he is not that hard to defeat, collect alot and you can get ALOT of money.#2: The whole army of neo-ghouls is a very good source of money, instead of defeating Keith, duel alot of Neo-Ghouls before taking him down.#3: The Paradox challenge, where you have to duel the 5 millenium item guardians is also a very good source of money, you get at least 200 for each win and you can get even more for selling the cards won from them.#4: All the duelists you can duel over and over again in all the other places, are very hard but once you've gotten better, go back to duel these people.

Go to the game shop and duel Tristan. Follow these instructions CAREFULLY.Press START, then select to sort by COST. Choose the first card that has two or more copies. When you win, you will get something like Forest, Spellbinding Circle, etc. You may need one or two Egyptian gods.
At the Dungeon, you must duel three Chevailiers before reaching Para and Dox. You may skip the first 2 duels becuase there is a big escape spot where the hero can escape, but in the 3rd duel, you must duel the Chevalier.
Near the end of the game where you are at Pegasus Castle in the Labyrinth you must defeat clones of the people you defeated (Bonz, Espa, Mai, Mako & Weevil). Though you will constantly face Bonz again and again unless you defeat those 5 duelists 1 more time. After you defeat them they give you their "Spirit" Cards and with those you will only have to face the Clone once and continue on your journey.
If you have a Winged Dragon of Ra[Phoenix mode] or a dark flare night in your hand, simply highlight the card, press B, and discard it. A powerful monster will be summoned.
Train with Duke to get a Hourglass of Life card to power up your monster at 1000 LP cost, then take on Yugi aroudn 40 times and get at least 20 spellbinding circles, sell them all and you will get alot of money, along the way your duelist level and deck capicity will also increase, then starting to duel all the people in clock tower square and then go to domino station to beat more cronies. By now yuor duelist level should be at least 130 to go intot he train and beat Panik, after that baet the guy in the back to get White Magician Hat 1000 atk to put it in your deck. Now go back to beat Yugi 40 times again.. so your duelists level shuld be 135 something about now.From this points onward, you should be able to beat many duels with your cards and status..
The simplicity of winning at the start of this game is all down to tribute summons. Duelists like rebecca will fall apart if you summon an average tribute monster, but this tactic becomes less useful as the game goes on.
