Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events Cheats & Tips

To get to the Inky Newt, you have to feed 1 small fly to the snake. When the snake eats the fly, run past it and get the Inky Newt. To feed the flies to the snake, you have to suck them them up in Klaus's Water Pump and press B towards the snake.

If you are at an early stage in the game where you feel where you are not going anywhere, try this-
In the actors wing, where there is a switch surrounded by metal gates, stand a little bit back and shoot Violet's apple core device, which, if done correctly, will flip the switch. Go through the gates and get the report card. Take it to Olaf to mark, take it and give it to the hook handed man, who will go away and leave some rope behind. You can then use the rope to operate the pulley device in the chimney, but that's another story.

This game can be a little hard and confusing. I know many people get stuck at the part with the icebox. With Violet, you can climb up a pole at the top where there is a spider. Don't get frustrated with this game, it will take time. Also, when you're done with the icebox, you must go to the actor's wing which is through the door all the way to the right in the downstairs hall. Up at the top of the actor's wing there is a library through a door you must go to. Don't forget! I am looking forward to having a walkthrough for this annoying, woeful game.
