if you have a green shield or blue and if your on the ramp thing press "r" and sonic will twist then pause at the right moment and sonic will be coverd in blue or green depending on the sheild and it will look like venus

collect all the chaosemerald with to characters.

There are 7 SP Rings on each stage, collect them all with Cream the Rabbit. If you enter the first Special Stage in Leaf Forest Act 1 or 2, you should be in an arena. You have to collect 300 Rings in 120 seconds, which totally isn't fair. There's also a Robot Guard which, when it hits you, takes 10 Rings away. Knuckles, Tails, and Cream are strongly recommended for this. When you collect all Chaos Emeralds, you just have to complete the game with Sonic, BLABLABLABLABLA then you'll land in a fight with Robotnik

Successfully finish the game with Sonic, Cream, Tails and Knuckles each with all Chaos Emeralds obtained

Beat the game with Three characters, each having all seven Chaos Emeralds to unlock the Boss option in Time Attack Mode.

To unlock the TRUE AREA 53 the only requirement is finishing the game with Sonic, with the 7 emeralds.

Platforms will keep rising up and down; they will shoot out
steam before they do, however. His only weak point is his head; you don't need
to be on a platform to hit him there. The ceiling is lined with spikes, so do
not jump up too far. He also will occasionally shoot out his arms; he will
constantly aim them at you, so be ready to avoid them by jumping quickly. He
will also shoot a giant laser out of his eyes, so if you're jumping at him when
he does this, you'll be in a world of hurt. You can destroy his arms with
enough hits; doing this makes the battle a lot easier.
MISC: Standing slightly between the back two raising pillars (more to the back,
keeps you out of attack range, (and if using cream, puts you in JUST close
enough range to attack all parts)). But that spot works for all characters, and
Knux can even hit the fists at that spot too. Tails' slash also works.
