To make Jirachi appear, first catch Rayquaza. After that, it randomly appears in the '777 slots'. I suggest trying this on sapphire as the Zigzagoon can stop the slots.
Whenever you get the pic with Jirachi, It appears on the board like most pokemon, but it will move like a baby pokemon. Hit it 3 times, and you catch him. Good luck!

To catch Rayquaza, you must first catch Kyogre/Groudon 2 times. (To catch Kyogre/Groudon fight them 2 times)
After you catch the first one, you get a special bonus, Rayquaza. Complete it 2 times to get Rayquaza.

First, go to the Pokedex or the high-score board. Then, hold down the left button and press L+R 3 times. A question will pop up asking if you want to erase your game data. Press yes and your game data erases.

Hey, just in case you get the ball stuck inside the bumers, hold down, and right or left for the way you want the ball to go. You can only control the ball when it's in the bumpers, not out.
