Ansem and Lexeaus enemy cards

You have to beat Sora's and Riku's story mode then go to Sora's mode and open a chest in Castle Oblivion and you will find it.

Ansem strategy

Right away use the jafar card then go and attack him. When he uses the attack where his guardian jumps up at you or where he dashes across the field, go to the end of your deck and use a zero card. You should get to dark riku mode fast. Just continue to do the same thing. Don't use any combos unless you get a mickey card, then put it at the front of the combo so you don't lose a card, and you gain health from the Mickey. If your health gets low,use the oogie boogie card.

Balanced Decks

It is better if you arranged your deck in sleights so you can just keep pressing L and R buttons. but remember, the first card you lose the first card you use in a sleight. so remember to put a riku card in your deck and lots of elixirs. if your elixirs is low, use it in stock it with 2 high cards and be sure it is the first(because you cannot use elixirs 2 times in a battle even if you don't use them in a sleight).

beat ansem in 3 tries! ( or less!)

here's an easy way to kick ansem's butt! it's simple really. heres how you do it:

ansem's attacks, don't attack right away as he plays them, there's some lag, before he strikes. (same with Mickey) okay, so when he plays a card play your card right away, it should break (unless you have a small card) and you will do damage on him. you should fall into a pattern. he plays, you play, break, hit (with you hitting) with this pattern, you also gain your dark points quickly and become dark. but don't use slates! that will throw you off, just contiue the pattern.
this pattern will go on till he uses a slate. now he uses a card at the begining of the battle that hides his slates. so always keep the zeros available. if he does use a slate, move back about 3 cards from the recharge and use your 0. do it quick enough and you won't get hurt. it's also good to memorize where the 0 cards are placed, in case of slate attacks.
now for healing: it is quite irratating how Riku does not have heal cards in his deck, but must rely on Micky alone (and the Oogie card). well, heres how to heal without fail. the first time your health is half gone, use the Oogie Boogie regen. card. that should keep you alive long enough for a bigger heal. now when you get mickey cards, DO NOT USE THEM! save them! get three of them as soon as you can, nabbing every one you can get (caution don't get too many or else it will take too long to get to a 0 card) but anyway, do not slate them and use them while ansem still has playing cards, because he will either use a 0 or another slate to break urs. so slate and use them as he is charging his deck, and while it is reloading, that way he can't break your heal. plus, the three Mickeys give you tons of health to live on. and do nice damage to him. (if it hits, his shadow usually will block it)

if you follow these basic fighting techniques, you should have him beat in 3 or less tries. ( maby more, but not likly)

beat Marluxia on the first try! ( both marluxias)

he's real easy already, but heres a tip anyways. ( you may find something useful)

first lets set out ur deck. it is usefull if it looks like this:
keyblade:0 (x4)
keyblade:9 (how ever many u have)
keyblade:8 (how ever many u have)
keyblade:7 (x3)
heal: ( a 7,8 or,9 card)
potion: (7,8, or, 9 card)
simba: (7,8,or,9 card)
cloud: (x3)
heal: (x3)

this deck contains a few more than needed heal cards for Marluxia's seconed form.

well the first form, flip past your 0 cards, and save them. attack constantly, and dodge when he strikes. try to break all his cards, because some are really hard to dodge. when he uses a sleight, flip back to a 0 and break it right away. heal when you get the chance, and sleight toghther premium cards in front with 2 cloud cards folowing. continue this and he should be beat in a sinch.

the seconed form, is already pretty easy, and doesn't need any real help. but heres a tip, to break those irratating slow movement petals, wait till he plays a card, the break it right away. it kills one petal instantly.

Beat Riku after Destiny Island

Before the battle, put a 0 value card after every 3 cards in your deck and at least 6 cures. When you fight, it's usually better not to use any sleights because they will probably be broken. Whenever he uses Dark Aura, use a zero card and give him a beating.
Verified by: kousuke Submitted by: BassDeluxe on April 24, 2005

beat Riku! (the hard one)

first you must have a deck that looks like this

keyblade 0(x4)
keyblade 9 (all you can put)
keyblade 8 (all you can put after nines)
heal: (x1)
keyblade 7 (all you can put after heal)
(don't put anything lower than 7)
heal: (x2)
potion: (x1)
simba: (x1)
cloud: (x3)
heal: (x1 or 2)
Oogie Boogie regen.

all cards should try to be at least higher than 6 if possibly

okay, so now you have ur deck. flip past ur 0 cards at the begining of the battle. then just attack and dodge as you normally would. but when he uses the Dark Aura, flip back to a zero, and break it right away. continue attacking. when your health get half or 1/3 low, use the Oogie Boogie regen. card. use heal when you can and just keep attacking. with using the 0's used wisley, and healing beingdone well, you should make it through in a jiffy.

Defeating Ansem in Reverse/Rebirth

I've seen several tips for beating Marluxia, but none for beating Ansem. So here's a set of tips for you all.

The final battle in Reverse/Rebirth is against Ansem. This is a very difficult battle, unless you approach it the right way.

First off, I recommend levelling up to level 50+. This can be easy to do with Riku, especially in Castle Oblivion, if you get plenty of Martial Waking cards. These cards increase the card value of your cards by 2 in that room. Then, just battle, transform into Dark Mode when you get it, and use Dark Aura.

With the Martial Waking cards, it is very easy to pull off Dark Aura 5-6 times to defeat those opponents, and since regular enemies do not use 0 value cards, you won't be stopped. With enough cards, and re-synthesizing the room when the enemies stop appearing, it is very easy to level up.

My recommendations are to focus on increasing your HP, and AP on level up. You don't need all that many DP to fight Ansem, as I recommend not spending too much time in Dark Mode.

Now, for the Ansem battle.

Most people will assume they need to morph into Dark Mode as quickly as possible to defeat him. That isn't true, as I spent most of my time in normal mode.

The deck I had (and the deck I assume you will have, since Riku uses the same deck, and you can't change it) has the following:
6 Soul Eater - Value 9
6 Soul Eater - Value 8
6 Soul Eater - Value 7
6 Soul Eater - Value 6
4 Soul Eater - Value 0
1 Mega-Potion - Value 9
1 Mega-Potion - Value 0

The only enemy cards I used in this battle were:
Parasite Cage (Use at the beginning, so you destroy his Slightblind)
Oogie Boogie (Use after you've started taking damage, so that you regen some, as the only chance to use Mickey Cards comes when he's focusing.)
Lexaeus (Use after he's down to 1-2 life bars remaining, to do extra damage.)

Now, here's how it all fits together.

Right off the bat, use Parasite Cage to destroy his Slightblind, otherwise, you won't know what Slight attack he's going to use next.

Then, go head-to-head with him. Your deck has enough high-value keys that you can card break most of his attacks. Especially important is to stay near him, and attack right after he does, so you can break his attack, and nullify the damage.

When he slights, use your 0 keys to break the slight, especially when he uses his Dark Shadow slight, otherwise, you'll take lots of damage, very quickly.

While breaking his cards, you'll hit Dark Mode. Once you hit Dark Mode, DO NOT USE SLIGHTS UNTIL HE IS AT 1-2 LIFE BARS REMAINING! Otherwise, you'll use up the most powerful cards beforehand. Keep card breaking, and dodging his attacks, even in Dark Mode.

After your Dark Mode fades, use Oogie Boogie to start getting back your health. If you can keep card breaking him, you'll be able to get a lot of your health back.

When he focuses, use Slights (Dark Firaga is my recommendation, as using Dark Aura can be somewhat ineffective, and he'll easily break it when he finishes focusing with a 0 card.). Also, when he is focusing, is the time to use Mickey cards. I recommend slighting them, to get MM Miracle, especially if the cards are a high value, as in the later part of the battle, he's exhausted a lot of 0 and high-value cards.

Then, when he's down to 1 1/2 or 2 life bars, use Lexaeus (Don't use him until the Regen fades, to get full effect out of it), and keep card breaking him, and attempting to use combos. If you hit Dark Mode again, and he's down at 1-2 life bars, start using your slights. Use Dark Firaga to deal the best damage. But also just attacking with keys works decently well, since Dark Riku hits harder, especially when attacking with the Lexaeus card active.

This is a very hard battle, however, if you follow these tips, you should be able to defeat Ansem. If you get down to flashiing read, and he last only a single lifebar remaining, start slighting in Dark Mode like crazy, with lots of Dark Firaga.

Good luck, and let me know @ reverendsho@gmail.com if this strategy works for you.

Door Card Strategy to Survive

One of the worst things that can happen in later parts of the game is to realize that you don't have the right card to go through a door. My strategy is simple: make sure you have at least one of every card. If you can use low numbers, use them over high numbers.

Even if the last card of its kind is a room you want, DON'T USE IT IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO. That way, you won't be stuck like I was...

Dual Sleight

To use this technique you have to get Marluxia 's card. It will use a sleight you use twice in that battle. The Second time it uses the sleight, it will be stronger than before. This will deal major damage if you have the sleight "Holy".

easiest way to beat ansem

stuck on ansem?
I was too.
I got completely stuck, I tried to beat him about 20 times but i just couldn't do it.
So I followed these steps, and the next time i faced him i beat him in one try. Because the easiest way to beat Ansem is to finish the fight before it begins. How, you ask? By leveling up like crazy.
#1. unlock all rooms in castle oblivion.
#2. look at your world map. there are four rooms. go to room number two (from left to right).
#3. the door to room one will be open, but strike it again and use a lasting daze card. If you dont have one use strong initiative, if you dont have that use teeming darkness. DO NOT USE MARTIAL WAKING.
#4. walk into room one and engage a heartless in a battle. make sure you strike first to stun it.
#5. when you enter the battle the heartless will be stunned. use your lexaeus card and attack like crazy. TRY NOT TO GET INTO DARK MODE. If at anytime you do get into dark mode, ditch the lexaeus card and use maleficent instead. before you know it the battle will be over and exp diamonds will be raining down on you.
#6. repeat, repeat, repeat! I got, on average, about 4,000 exp per fight! I leveled until I had full HP, then I leveled up AP a few times, and before i knew it i had beat ansem! just remember, if at any time you run out of heartless, go back to room two and synthesize a new door. good luck!

Easy win on Ansem

When you fight ansem you should get in front of him, then wait until he uses a non-sleight attack.
Immediately break it with a HIGHER LEVEL CARD so you can break and counterattack with one card. If you use same level cards, you might not have time to counterattack. This will do a decent amount of damage if you are in the 20's on attack. When he uses a sleight, go to the back of your deck and use a 0 value card. The only sleight you should use is MM Miracle with 3 mickeys. When you turn to dark Riku, DO NOT USE SLEIGHTS. Not even Dark Aura. You want all the cards you can get. When he has one health bar left, mickeys will stop dropping. Save mickeys for then. Using this method, I beat him in 2 tries at level 65 with one MM Miracle.

how to beat Ansem

First wait until Ansem isn't attacking and go full force until he breaks you, then keep breaking his cards until he isn't attacking again. DO NOT USE YOUR 0 CARDS UNLESS HE USES A SLEIGHT, ALSO DO NOT USE SLEIGHTS!

Second (you've gone through one of his health bars) you basically need to just repeat step one.

If you go into dark mode, ONLY USE SLEIGHTS ON THE LAST 1-2 HEALTH BARS! if you use them before you will blow your good cards. don't use Dark Aura because he will break it, u will more than likely wanna use Dark Firaga.

Stats i had when i beat ansem: 560 HP (max), 20 AP, 18 DP.
Recommended stats for ansem: 400 HP, 20 AP, 10 DP

if you have over 2 bars of health wait until you have less than 1/2 a bar you should heal, you should have a few mickey cards use those, don't use Oogie Boogie unless your below 1/4 of a bar.

Nice Ansem Strategy

If you are stuck on Ansem, I have developed a good strategy to kill him.

1) He only has two attacks and two sleights.
Attack 1: He shoots a fast moving lightning bolt. This attack is a red card.
---Dodge: Jump over it.

Attack 2: He uses his shadow to swoop down and hit Riku. This attack is a blue card.
---Dodge: Jump over it.

Sleight 1: He does a charge all over the stage.
---Dodge: Break it.

Sleight 2: He uses his shadow to rush out of the ground and continually attack Riku. This sleight begins with the sound that sounds like the opening of Dark Aura.
---Dodge: Break it.

2) Get into Dark Mode ASAP. Break his cards, and his sleights until you have enough DP to change into Dark Mode. Once there, use the standard three-hit combo. When you retrieve a Mickey Card, Stock 2 Soul Eaters, and thenthe Mickey card. (Hopefully) The two Soul Eaters will stun Ansem long enough to bring Mickey out and heal, providing another chance to situate yourself.

3) Use enemy cards. Try using Oogie Boogie when you are low on the health frontier and you are going through a 'Mickey withdrawal'.

4) Go easy on the sleights! Dark Break and Dark Aura don't work properly here! Usually, Ansem's Shadow blocks most (if not all) of the multiple hit sleights. Once Ansem is down on health, try using a Dark Firaga to blow down his health meter.

Well, I hope this guide will help some of you stuck on the final Ansem battle!

One of the Best Cards

One of the Best cards in the game is the Neo Shadow card. It gradually lowers the enemys' HP every 2 seconds until you reload your deck. I beat Marluxia with this card while countering his attacks with all of my 0 cards, just make sure that you're near him while you counter so that the 0 cards will damage him. when you go out of cards his HP bar would be green already so just finish him off with your strongest skills ^^,

Pre-Emptive Strikes

If you see a heartless on the screen, hit it on it's head before the battle scene comes and you will enter the battle and find out that the heartless is confused and a bit of his HP is gone.

Premium All Your Cards Fast (or semi-fast)

Similar to the Moogle Points trick, you'll walk between two rooms over and over, and this trick depends a lot on luck.

The requirements are that one of the rooms is a Premium Room, and that that room has to have a BARREL in it. So, once you've cleared the room of enemies, just leave and come back. The barrel will respawn each time, and whenever you break it, you will either get health, moogle points, or, if your lucky, a barrel spider. The spiders respawn (with luck) and thus your chances of getting a Premium Bonus are high. Even when you don't get spiders, this will help you get Moogle Points.

This certainly takes a while, and I wouldn't recommend trying to do it to your whole collection.

I recommend making a deck of high-CP cards that you commonly use, especially stuff like Cloud. Barrel Spiders all have an attack power of 4, so keep all your cards above that and you won't have any trouble. It's tedious, but it really can be worth it.

premium cards

Premium cards dissapear after you use them so if your have a full deck of premium cards then u can only use the cards 1 time in that battle and then you can't attack any more did that and it took a long time to all the cards again.(i was near the end of sora's story too)

Secret to a deck that packs a punch

(Note:to obtain such a deck you must have 1050 CP or more/You must also have the cards in the deck) After this you'll have more powerful deck than ever.We start with 5 Kingdom key 0's in the front so you always have a 0 at your aid.next add 1 kk(Kingdom Key)7,4 kk 8's,5 kk 9's,then add 5 more 7's(Kingdom keys),then 1 kk 6, kk=Kingdom key. then add 1 4 oblivion, then 2 6 oblivion.Next in spells add 2 7's in cure then add 1 8 in cure.now in items add an 8 in Elixer. and finally were down to enemy cards(this is what will take up most of your CP) add a the following Cards. Laxene,Vexen,Axle,Marluxia,Riku,Shadow. And that's the secret. If you have 1050 CP it will be exact CP. I Hope it Works.

You can skip story sequences (dialog) by holding down start for about 2 seconds. Unfortunately, this does not work for the animated sequences.
