when you use the control glitch (not the summoner way) if you give your favorite character (for me, Joshua ) a stone, when he attacks with a sword, the attack is kinda wierd.
also, anybody i mean ANYBODY can use Demon Surge, Evil eye, or any enemy magic that has no rank. MORAL: Never give your fav character enemy magic unless you want to screw him/her up.
also, when in link arena, if you use demon surge,
when you beat your opponent he/she says what they say when they die and you get experience!

In Scorched Sand, all of the hidden items are...
Silver Card, Barrier Staff, Warp Staff, Killer Bow, Metis's Tome, Body Ring, Eclipse Tome, and Swiftsole.

In fire emblem two we all know that there is int really an Arch sage class but you can get a the next best thing witch is a sage that know all types of magic and starves.

1.Get a Sage.

2.Beat the game.

3.Do monster skirmishes until one appears at neleras peak.

4. Go to that skirmish

5.use the control enemy glitch to stock up on stones.

6.Since anybody can use stones give one to your sage.

7.Go to tower of Valni and beat the first level multiple time with your sage using only stones. Eventually his dark magis level wil be high enough that he can use flux.

8. repeadetly beat the first level of tower of valni using only your sage and using the highest level of dark magic that he can use and eventually he will have an A or S class in dark magic

first of all just so you know Lyon is actually harder than the demon king just use your strongest unit(mine was Joshua with Audhulma) and myrrh against Lyon he should be dead before he can counter attack on his round

against the demon king use the sacred weps and myrrh since myrrh is the only one that can take more than 2 demon lights(of the units i had by that time

OK so I notice people submitting best line ups and characters so I'm just going to throw my two cents in. First I'm not going to bother with the two great lords it's a give in that they will be in the line up. Secondly always level your characters to level 20 I cannot stress how important it is to max at your teams stats. Lastly don't use Seth although he is powerful at the beginning many characters surpass his stats. So hear goes.
1. Franz- Great Knight
- He is a great unit fair mobility and solid defense and attack.
2. Gilliam- General
- Has great defense and attack give him boots and talismans.
3. Ewan- Mage- Sage
- Probably the most powerful magic user you can have in your arsenal also doubles as a healer.
4. Amelia- General
- She has great defense and attack great for blocking and as a front line unit give her boots and talismans.
5. Colm- Assassin
- He is fast and great at evading not to mention his special ability which is basically an instant kill.
6. Niemi- Sniper
- She has great speed and skill amazing back line unit.
7. Ross- Berserker
- Strongest attacker in the game if leveled properly just brutal.
8. Cormag- Wyvern Lord
- Great mobility and high attack power equip him with a fili shield and he can dominate.
9. Joshua- Sword Master
- Super fast high critical hit ratio.
10. Artur- Bishop
- Great healer great ability.
Other characters that can be added to the team include
- The three Falcon Knights due to their ability.
- Garcia as a warrior due to his weapon selection.

If you wanna change a class then wait `till they`re lv.20. Sounds dumb I know but they`ll be really strong afterwards. +Keep switchin`weapons! For example give Seth about 4 weapons keep using the weapon with the highest durability. And he`ll last like 2 or 3 chapters.

there are a few people can upgrade without a seal
these people are:

Ross: get to level 10 in next chapter he will upgrade to either a fighter or a pirate

Ewan: level 10 and he can change into a shaman or mage

Amelia: get level 10 and she will turn knight or cavalier

Theoretically you are able to max out every characters' stats, promote all characters, and get the best weapon levels you can get.

How?
Simply, during the game, abuse the arenas frequently to get maximum gold. Then, after you beat the game, go to Creature Campaign. There are several secret shops in which you can buy stat-boosting items and promotion items, and you can equip the silver card to buy everything at half-price. You may need to go through the Valni Tower or sell useless items to get extra money.

The following glitch is similar to the Phantom Glitch but works without a Phantom so is by definition more convenient.

Requirements:
- The main lord (Eirika if you're on her quest, Ephraim if you're on his quest)
- A unit without weapons (ie, unable to attack)
- A map with action tiles. Action tiles are Fire tiles, snag (the log that's cut to make a bridge, has to be the tile that has the log, not the bridge), or Gorgon Eggs
- Must be a skirmish or a Tower/Ruin map, cannot be a mission map

Have an enemy attack a character without a weapon, with the enemy standing on the action tile. Just as the health bars and/or experience vanish (this works best with animation off), soft reset your game. When you resume, the enemy that's attacking will fade out, leaving you control to any enemy who has not moved. Move an enemy near your main character to deposit its weapons into your supply convoy. Also, you can discard the enemy items, trade them (a zombie can hold an axe but cannot use it), move them or do anything you like.
However, this requires planning as the enemy has to be able to access your main character if you want to deposit, since they cannot trade with your characters.

To control the Enemy for one turn, you need a Summoner on your team and Gorgons on the enemy team.

Summon a Phantom and move it within attack range of a Gorgon. End the turn. The Gorgon should attack the Phantom. As soon as the Phantom and the health bar disappear, reset the Gameboy.
If done correctly, you will be controlling the enemy now. enemies can access the supply convoy, so have fun using enemy magic

Save on the map before a skirmish and then enter the skirmish. If it is foggy turn off your GBA and turn it back on do restart chapter and start from where you just saved. Now enter the skirmish again and the fog should be gone!

You know how in some levels there are those orange colored spaces, wher if you step on them, you will get hurt? And sometimes, they will block your path with no way around them. But if you have a rogue or an assassin(Eiher Rennac or promoted Colm) step on a flame tile and wait, it will disable it, allowing safe passage across.

First you need the control enemy glitch (Look in glitches) and get whatever you need (I suggest evil or crimson eye) and two sets of stones. Take Natasha and make her a bishop. After she is a bishop give her the stones to boost up her dark magic until you can use flux. Get it up to S. Another requirement is you have to have Naglfar (by beating the ruins 3 times). Equip her with the Naglfar (which is infinite) and because she is a bishop, it will be the monsters weakness. If you have the memebers card, fill up Natashas strength. If your enemy has no defense she will do 100 damage.

WEll get both your lords (Erika and Ephrium), Seth, Gilliam (general), Saleh, Gerik (Hero), Ewan (Sage), and L'Archal (Valkari) to lvl 20 and go to the secret shops. Buy a ton of stat items EX. talismin, Secret Books, ect. and upgrade them all to max stats. Now buy Ewan and Saleh Fimlburt or what ever it is called for the (lvl A anime spell) and buy every one else killer and silver weapons. Now when you fight people with dragon items kill them and give it to them. When you reach the top lvl of the ruins use the dragon weapons, rapiers (Erika), and dragon spears to gilliam and seth and ephrium. Use the lvl A spells on the dragons and PS. give them elixers before the battles. but buy purge and lvl A light spell for L'Arachal and physic staffs. Take out the draogns in the corners first so the others "Corner You" and just wipe the mout from there.

P.S. get rennic or colm really strong and use items so they wont die and they could help you gat the gold gem from the boss dragon.

Just do the ff.:
a. Enter the Ruins, retreat, restart.
b. Re-enter the Ruins and pick the Frelian Pegasus Knights (Vanessa, Tana, and Syrene)
c. Do a Triangle Attack on the Wight with the Secret Book then retreat.
d. Go to Melkaen Coast (the area northwest from Rausten Court).
e. Beat the Lvl. 20 Elder Bael (the E.B at the top right-hand side of the map).
2nd Note: Try using Silver or Killer weapons

Once you have completed the game, and you are in map mode it is possible to get other characters by completing the tower and the ruins. After you get one of these characters, change who they are using a cheat device, and save. The next time you go back into the tower or the ruins, you will receive the message telling you that you can now use that same character that you just changed. You can keep doing this to gain more units for battle or just some extra characters to use with your cheat device.

Instead of always clearing the tower of valni of all its monsters just keep defeating the boss instead. First this only works if the unit can move at least 6 spaces or it can attack 2 spaces away. choose tethys and the character you want to level up then check the map to see if the boss is on the left right or middle then put the character you want to gain exp. on the the farthest it can go in the same direction of the boss then put tethys right behind her/him (note: sometimes the boss will be blocked by another renevant.) then start the battle. first move your character only 5 spaces so tethys can catch up. then use her dance to move again. then move 6 spaces ahead (you should be able to have gotten far enough to attack.) then defeat the boss then retreat. (oh and make sure the settings is so that the turn doesn't end when the last unit finishes his/her turn then repeat the process until the unit becomes level 20. as you do this tethys will also level up (A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE the unit that does this must be powerful enough to kill th boss in one turn.

This works two ways:

1) Wait in front of an arena and keep on putting characters into arena battles. Healers heal the damage they recieve and most arena lvls have Vendors so STOCK UP ON HEALS!!! Easy money and EXP.

2) In the Tower of Valini, on the left and right side of the first floor, there are single spaces that you put your healer. Have a unit that you want leveled up on the space next to it to stop units from attacking your healer. Easy support/exp for your units! And your healer will not be touched!

This is a really simple trick. After the 10th Chapter in either Epraim or Eirika's route, go to the Valni Tower. Pick the person you want to level up, a healer, and go into battle. The character you picked will go in the center of the area and the healer will follow. The character you want to be leveled up will steadily kill eevryone. I don't suggest going past the 2nd or 3rd floor.
Note: Heal when needed so your character will not die. This also works with 3 units.

to make it more probabble you control the enemy get them on an action tile
A.I. fire tiles and the spot a snag used to be NOT the bridge part also reset / turn off the gameboy GBA ect. after the health bar disapears BEFORE the enemy turns black also turn the animation off this is not required but makes it much easier and last but not least YOU CAN PERFORME THIS CHEAT IN STORY MODE I HAVE DONE IT BEFORE AND SO HAVE THREE OF MY FRIENDS

I have been playing fire emblem for years beleive me I'm good

After you get Ewan and want to train him, take him to The Valni Tower. Have a stronger character rescue him. Have your other characters defeat all of the monsters, exept for the boss entombed. If you don't attack or sstand next to the entombed then it won't attack. After all of the monsters are gone exept for the boss, then drop off Ewan. Have him get up to a spot where he can attack without being next to the boss. Have Ewan use Fire.

You get those characters severely underleveled. If you want to use them, you can train them in the Tower of Valni doing this: make three of your best characters stand on the stairs of the first floor to make a wall. Then you can kill the enemies that approach to attack you with your magic user staying behind your disarmed units. If someone gets injured, use L'Arachel to heal.

currently i only have a toxin spear. obviously this uses the control enemy glitch so have that cheat down pat. u pretty much just do the same thing with the getting the enemy magic, but u can get toxin weps. this might be good for those pesky draco zombs on lvl 10 ruins ( havnt got there yet with the wep so i just guessing) the wep is usless on other monsters but it cool to have a toxic wep and it last 40 uses so it no all that bad.

get cleric/preist lvl up easy

k what u do is simple. ( this works for l"arachel to) u get enemy magic then go to tower of valni and kill kill without losing character
this much more effectinv then the heal at arena cheat ( i got natasha up on 30 min ) u obviously have to have enemy magic ) which is accuireable in one of the early lvls if u use the control enemy without summoner glitch)so it not all to hard

If you beat the game you have to beat the tower or ruins to unlock bosses. Beat the ruins or tower 3 times, you will unlock a very strong character.

Draco zombies are the most powerful monsters in the game. Their wretched air breath attacks can poison you. They fly up to five squares and silver weapons only do 1 or 6 damage. Use your most powerful units and have healers nearby with long range attackers.

When you get to the chapter where you can get Joshua, you will notice there is an arena in town. Kill all enemies except for the boss and stock up on at least 2 heals. Go to the arena with Seth and put either Moulder or Natasha behind him with Natasha's mend and 2 heals. Make Seth go in the arena to level up fast and heal as he goes with the healer behind him. If you get him to level 20, the next couples of chapters will be a breeze.

If Lute got to level 20 then evolved into a sage then got to level 20 again Lute should be able to take down the Draco zombie with the sacred tome Excaliber easily.

Lyon (necromancer) is thebest character in the game and when his stats are max, he is amazing. In order to get him max stats, get him to level 20 and then use all the money you got from beating the ruins three times to buy items and max out his stats. This is pricey but with it I beat the ruins with only one character!

NOTE: Make sure you equip your attacker with a long range weapon (bow, hand axe, javelin, rune sword, or magic) and defenders must not be equipped with ANY weapons

I will use Amelia and Moulder as examples. Take 3 very armoured units who will take very little to no damage in the Tower Of Valni (Gilliam, Seth, Duesell etc.) Then stay at the stairs in the first floor near the entrance. Set up your defenders in a row blocking the monsters from Moulder and Amelia. When the zombies come up and attack you, your guards will take no damage leaving them near the front for Amelia to attack with a javelin. If your defenders get hurt even the slightest bit use Moulder.

With this cheat you can get your weak units and your healers to level 20 no problem.

Once you beat the game, enter the creature Campaign. There will be 3 skirmishes. Pick one Unit and buy him/her iron weapons (for mages, monks, and shamans, buy them Fire, Lightning, or Flux). Go to one skirmish and only pick the Unit your going to level up (if your Unit is about to die, retreat out of the skirmish). Then you go to another skirmish and etc. After like about 7-8 skirmishes or less, your unit will be to lv20. Keep doing this to your other Units and they will go to lv20. (PLUS:If you raise enough money, you can go to the secret shops and buy power-ups for your Units and Max their stats out. Do this and you can get the bonus Units easier.

You must first successfully complete the game and then select the "Extras" option. You can then choose to see all of the support conversations that have been unlocked.

First give Erika Sieglinde and Audhulma, and Ephraim Siegmund and Vidofnir. It's helpful for them to be between levels 14-20, so train accordingly.

Next start the final mission. Make sure you have a healer with you, and that you place him out of range from the demon king. Then all you need to do is attack with Erika and Ephraim and heal with the healer.

The way you kill them easily, is that you just get the dragon weapons (Wyrmslayer, Dragon Axe, and Dragonspear) use these weapons and you will bring them down easy. Also when in Ruins, try to seperate the Draco Zombies from one another and kill them one by one.

If you do it right, this is the quickest and easiest of all the levels.
What you will need is
1) a minimum of 2 near maxed to maxed bishops with aura (you NEED to be able to 2 hit, and with aura its not too hard)
2) 2 more bishops or any other class that can heal with mend or physic
3) A rouge or assassin w/ lockpick for the black gem chest (optional but who would skip it?)
4)anyone else you want to have just to hit max people
remember, watch the draco range, nothing worse than when you want to keep every char in the game alive and your lock picker gets killed

ok so here is the best way to do it (that I have found)
1)take each aura bishop to attack the left and right middle dracos
2)bring the extra healers to heal up each of them (they should have aura just in case)
3)move people out of range of lower dracos (a MUST, almost lost le'archel cause I wasn't watching the range)
4)end turn, dracos will upper dracos will attack your aura bishops, should deal with it
5)heal your bishops and take out the top draco
6)get gem
7)run your bishops down to the VERY EDGE of the lower left and right dracos atk range, do NOT be where there is overlap or you loose a char
8)end round, will get attacked by the lower L and R dracos
9)heal up and kill the last draco
10)congradulantes you just beat lagdu and probably unlocked a character, have fun!

or alternative
every char who can use aura is in, put one in each draco range but this needs 8 max casters with aura which I only have because of 3 days straight in arenas. Will finish the map in one round.

To get Money (The SLOW Way) make Knoll a summoner and start summoning in the tower of Valni a few fluxes will maybe used because the monsters may surround Knoll.Summoning and attacking also raises exp.

After you beat the game, first save, then right after it saves, soft reset.
Go to Lagdou ruins, and you should be able to get these items from enemies (be careful, the enemies that have droppable weapons may use their stronger one against you, so attack first!!): Shamshir (or Iron Blade), 100 gold, Tomahawk (or devil axe), Brave Bow (or steel axe), killer lance (or steel lance), and 100 gold.

Or, to get money easier, do the reset and go to lagdou, but don't do anything (attack, move) and you can get a brave sword (or iron sword), Brave bow (or longbow), Orions Bolt, and 150 gold.

The #2 is the better deal (in my opinion) but its ya choice.

The third way to get money easy is to get an infiniti enemy weapon and kill kill kill (evil eye, demon surge, crimson eye) from Neleras Peak (the cheat you should be able to find yourself to get the enemy weapon).

I did #2 for about 2 hours and I have about 300,000 gold, with maxing out 5 of my character's stats.

To obtain this item that cuts all items you buy in price by half, when held is easy. In the chapter when the jhenna palace is burned down, there will be a area in the top righthand corner that will be surronded by cliffs, so that non flying units can not get up there. take a flying unit AND LAND EVERYSQUARE THAT IS ON THIS AREA. sometimes you may not get it so just resart the chapter every time until you do.

I use this team with just iron weapons and they never lose a fight, it's the perfect blend. My tip for all players is to stay away from units that start out good. Use them (ex. seth) in story mode to help win, but if you train the weak units to be strong, they will be 5x better, for example, getting franz to a paladin, he could destroy seth no competition.

If a wyvern knight gets his/her skill from far away, the game will freeze. This can be prevented by turning the animation off, or not giving them Javelin, Short Spear, or Spear.

Listen my friends, the only tip I can give you is get the "Brave" weapons: Brave Sword, Brave Bow, Brave Lance, and Brave Axe.

Dead easy. Just unlock Caellach (Beat 3rd floor ToV in the Creature Campaign) for the second Hoplon Guard, and for the second Filli Shield, get Valter (Beat the 7th floor of the Lagdou Ruins)

First, when u beat the game you'll see support conversations. Next, if u have the two charther go to the tower and rescue that chather for about 100 turns and then you can see the support conversation

To easily defeat the boss on seize gate or throne maps simply defeat all the other enemies then have a bow, throwing axe, or magic user attack. This only works for enemies that only have 1 range. (1-2 range is okay if you're using someone with a longbow) This works due to the fact that throne or gate bosses don't leave their spot.

I assume you know how to unlock Lyon but I bet you didn't know he could master more than one weapon. He can have dark magic S and staff S. It really helps when you need someone who can heal AND fight!

since Erika or Ephraim can't die or the game is over, when you move E or E into enemy area to attack, always keep a balanced or strong defencive unit nearby to draw the attack to them

To teach anyone Dark Magic, you need to be able to go to Neleras Peak.

Once you are there, make sure you have two or three strong characters WITHOUT weapons and your main Lord. Place the unarmed characters around one of the flame traps and wait for your enemy to attack them.

Then, the evil part starts. Between when the battle animation ends and the enemy turns grey, reset the game. If this is done right then the enemy will go grey and you will be in control of the enemies. Then get two Stones sent down from Gorgons straight to the supply convoy. Once you've done that, retreat. Then go to the Tower of Valni and give the Stones to the character whom you want to teach Dark Magic, and make them use the Stones on the monsters. Once both Stones are used up, your character should be able to use Flux.

Now enjoy building up to giving that character Naglfar!

Glitch Warning:
Always keep battle animations off when using Tethys (Yes she can learn Dark Magic), as if she double attacks and the animations are on, the game will freeze.

If there are any problems, bring them to my attention in the forum. This cheat really works as my L'Arachel has an S Rank in Dark Magic

im going to assume that most everybody by now is maxing out their people in creature campaign, but anyway these formations are useful in a pickle. Im going to keep them at 8 people.

50 50 def off

2 tanks (berserkers, generals, heroes, Great knights are most likely to pull their own weight an more) keep a ranged weapon with them, im serious.

1 healer, 1 dancer/ 2 healers- having 2 or more healers is stupid unless you are attracted to a pure mage team, or your people have low defense, so you have a horde of preists and preistesses and valkyries poking people with their staves.

blitzer- paladins, flying 8 moving people for transporting, or if they are pretty good and you beleive in them, sprint to the boss to kill them sooner.

1 ranged- mage or sniper for the bit of back up that goes a long way.

2 defenders- this can be anybody, reccomended with high con for rescue and good def. they are highest demand, so if its hard, replace everybody but your ranged and healer to defense.

Doom

2 teams, keep support together, 2 attacker, 1 healer, 1 backup. Do not be stationary and only retreat if your literally getting it up the butt.

Really dont want to mess this up.

Any team, but keep team moving at half pace, be wary of reinforcements, enemy movement and triple check the map.

Skirmish Tip

On the options menu, turn off autoend turns, so all your people can attack somebody and you can retreat even when everybody has moved.

Traning ewan, amelia, ross

Keep gilliam or dozla unarmed in one of the hallways on the side of tower of valni 1, have the children range the zombies

Coast money

Like working near the ocean? Like swimming? Enjoy fog? At the coast near rausten court, there will always be a monster in the upper right corner with an upgrade ( ex,hero crest, energy ring)

This is a very crude tactic, used by horrible generals often in the past, but i admit to using it also. In difficult levels, retreat your healers, only keep your attackers and tanks in battle, but also bring some noobs that you dont like for bait, so you can lure out those spiders and zombies for the feast of their life. But mid-meal, you have to stop the fun and give them necessary and unnecessary wounds.

to do this you need to use the "control the enemies" glitch. once you use it have a monster give you a crimson eye, evil eye, fetid claw, poison claw, rotten claw, fiery fang or sharp claw myrrh can use all of them without needing to train to use them. so save the dragonstone for the demon king or lyon or... when ever ya need it!

i suggest using ross, but ewan and emilia may also work, im working with them now.... Level him up normally and give him a bunch of upgrades.
make him a pirate, then get to lv( 20 and make him a berserker once he gets to lv 20 again your only worry should be his weapon's durability, which can be fixed if you cheat and get a demon surge or other monster weapon

For upgrades i suggest talismans to help with his magic problems, dont use energy rings because his str should max out easily.

I also found a cheat somewhere for infinite swiftsoles. To do this you need to be in creature campaign on easy or normal, (theres a different cheat for hard) You go to the ruins and make someone with a move of 7 go in this pattern, 2 right, 2 down, 2 left, and 1 up. You then move the cursor 1 to the right, it will turn the move arrow into either an L or a rotated L (dont actually move the unit).

Do this a total of 13 times then retreat from the ruins, then go back in. retreat and go in again (you dont have to do the movement thing) and retreat and go in again (for a 3rd entry) There should be a monster with a swiftsole and another with a dracoshield, just loot and pillage at will

Be careful of draco zombies (found on Lagdou Ruins floor 10 or Ch. 20 Darkling Woods). Their attacks negate your defense and resistance doing 25 damage (if it hits, usually). To make it easier, get a long range weapon (shadowshot (enemy control glitch),purge) to a bishop (anyone else it will be harder) and let them kill, kill, kill.

Note: Draco zombies have little move, but their attack range is 2. Be careful when near them.

When there is an enemy that has the green loot text, make it so he has no more items. then give him an item that you want him to have (not recommended for very far range items) and then you kill the enemy that you gave the wanted item to.

If it doesnt have a book, retreat, save, and soft reset ur game. Then, go bak 2 the ruins and he'll have it. Kill him, retreat, save, and reset. Its that simple. The secret books sell for 4000 ea so...have fun with the money. (I recommend keeping some so u dont have 2 buy them later..)

For infinite spears, go 2 the tower of valni. The skeleton to the left of the boss shuld have a spear in spoils (flashing green). If not then, retreat, save, reset, go bak. The only trick 2 this is having some1 with a ranged weapon equipped kill the skeleton. (he uses the spear if he sees some1 with a weapon range of 1)
I only did the spear cheat 7 times lol. I did the secret book cheat 2 many times 2 count and now i have 18 ppl with maxed out stats (bought stuff in the '? shop"s on creature campaign/ map mode) and 200k remaining.

After beating the game, go to "Map" Mode. You can now go to Secret Shops that you couldn't have before. At the Grado Keep, Rausten Court, and Jehanna they have power-up items. They are different at each store and the only one they don't have is the Swiftsole. Each are for 8,000 gold.

Beat the game once and play Ex.Map in Extra Mode. They will join in the next battle.

When you do the enemy control glitch, at Neralas Peak, take as many enemy weapons as possible. When all the creatures have no weapons kill them, you should get a ton of exp. Then go to the Tower of Valni. Equip your healer with a stone and a demon surge. When you do a stone they get a lvl E in dark magic. You need a D to equip flux. I recommend L'Arachel. She is incredibly hard to lvl up normally, but now you can get a lvl 20 easily and then lvl up. She is a beast! This works for anyone. However, if you use stone on a normal weapon user, the attack is weird. It looks like a ranged attack but you don't see the impact. You can use demon surge and it won't do anything weird. Don't use it on anyone you don't want to mess up.
