Different Musharna
You can get a different Musharna after beating the Main Game. I'm not exactly sure the day, but I know you can get it.
| Unlockable | How to unlock |
| Telepathy Musharna | After beating the Main Game, return to the Abandoned lot of dreams (Dreamyard) on a Friday and go down as far as you can go. When on the lowest floor, go as far back until you see a sleeping Musharna. Interact with it to battle. It is level 50, knows psybeam, lucky chant, defense curl and hypnosis. Its ability is different from usual Musharna as its ability is Telepathy which means it can not be hurt by its partners' attack in a double or triple battle. Go nuts with it. |
Gift Pokemon
Through various points in the game, there are Pokemon you can receive just by talking to certain people and having a free space open in your party.
| Unlockable | How to unlock |
| Pansage, Pansear, Panpour | When you first enter the Abandoned Lot of Dreams, there is a lady who will give you any ONE of these three Pokemon. It is dependent on your starter however. If you choose Snivy, you'll get the Water-type, Panpour. If you picked Tepig, you'll get the Grass-type, Pansage. If you chose Oshawott, the lady gives you the Fire-type Pansear. They're at level 10 when you get them. |
| Zorua | To obtain Zorua, you need to first have transferred Celebi over to your game via the Transfer Machine. Then a lady in Castelia City will offer you Zorua. You must have at least one Poke Ball in your bag though it doesn't matter what kind of Poke Ball it is. It is at level 10 when you receive it. |
| Purotooga & Aaken | These are the fossil Pokemon of the Unova region and can be obtained by going to the Anceint Castle and picking which of the fossils to take. You can then revive it in the Shippou City Museum. The Shell Fossil is that of Purotooga while the Wing Fossil is revived into Aaken. Both will be at level 25. |
| Meraruba | To obtain Meraruba, you must receive a Pokemon Egg from a man who lives in Route 18. He'll have a red suit and hat. Since it's an Egg, you must hatch it in order to be able to use Mearuba. It is at level 1 like all other Egg Pokemon. |
| Magikarp | This is more or less a purchase like it is back in Kanto. A man on Wonder Bridge will sell you a rare Pokemon for 500 Poke Dollars. The difference is, Magikarp actually is very rare in Unova and can't be found anywhere else in the game. It is at level 5 when you receive it. |
| Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith, Cranidos, & Sheildon | There is a man in Ridge Cave who will give you a fossil every day after you get the National Pokedex. The fossils are of all the fossil Pokemon featured in Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. Take the fossils to the Shippou City Museum to revive the fossil into its respective Pokemon. They will all be at level 25 when revived. |
| Pansage, Pansear, or Panpour | In the area farthest to the right in the outer area of the Dreamyard, there is a lady who will give you one of these three Pokemon. It is dependent on your starter, however. If you choose Snivy, you'll get the Water-type, Panpour. If you picked Tepig, you'll get the Grass-type, Pansage. If you chose Oshawott, the lady gives you the Fire-type Pansear. They're at Level 10 when you get them. |
| Zorua | To obtain Zorua, you need to first have transferred Celebi over to your game via the Relocator and have it in your party. Then a lady in the bottom floor of the Game Freak building in Castelia City will offer you Zorua. You must have at least one Pokeball in your bag, though it doesn't matter what kind of Pokeball it is. It is at Level 10 when you receive it. |
| Tirtouga or Archen | These are the fossil Pokemon of the Unova region and can be obtained by going to the Ancient Castle and picking which of the fossils to take. You can then revive it in the Nacrene City Museum. The Shell Fossil is that of Tirtouga while the Wing Fossil is revived into Archen. Both will be at Level 25. |
| Larvesta | To obtain Larvesta, you must receive a Pokemon Egg from a man who lives in Route 18. His sprite is that of a male Pokemon Ranger. Since it's an Egg, you must hatch it in order to be able to use Larvesta. It is at Level 1 like all other Egg Pokemon. |
| Magikarp | This is more or less of a purchase like it is back in Kanto. A man on Marvelous Bridge will sell you a rare Pokemon for 500 Poke. The difference is, Magikarp is actually very rare in Unova and can't be found anywhere else in the game. It is at Level 5 when you receive it. |
| Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith, Cranidos, and Shieldon | There is a man in Twist Mountain who will give you a fossil every day after you get the National Pokedex. The fossils are of all the fossil Pokemon featured in Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. Take the fossils to the Nacrene City Museum to revive the fossil into its respective Pokemon. They will all be at Level 25 when revived. |
Interactable Pokemon
None of these are legendaries. Interactable means you must press A while facing it. Some of them have specific requirements.
| Unlockable | How to unlock |
| Darmanitan | After having beaten the main game, if you go to the Relic Castle entrance surrounded by "statues", Professor Juniper will show up and give you a RageCandyBar. Upon interacting with one of the "statues", it will reveal itself to be a real Darmanitan. These Darmanitans are quite rare in that they are the only non-Dream World Darmanitans with Zen Mode. They are at Level 35. |
| Foongus and Amoongus | On Routes 6 and 10, some items on the ground are actually Foongus (both Routes) or Amoongus (Route 10). Interacting with them will cause them to do a small jump and force you into a wild Pokemon battle with them. |
| Musharna | After having beaten the main game, a new area of the Dreamyard will be open to you. In the basement of this new area will be a Musharna. It is quite rare in that it is the only non-Dream World Musharna with Telepathy. It only appears on Fridays and it is Level 50. |
| Zoroark | If you transferred any of the event Raikou, Entei, and Suicune via the Relocator and have any of them in your party, at the dead-end of Lostlorn Forest, the speechless lady will attack you as a Pokemon, making it more of a forced battle than an interaction battle. If the first Pokemon in the ordering of your part is Entei, you will encounter Suicune. If it is Suicune, you will encounter Raikou. And if it is Raikou, you will encounter Entei. Whatever you encounter is treated as Dark-Type. However, if you attack it with a damaging move, it will reveal itself to be Zoroark. It is Level 25. |
| Volcarona | After completing the main game and going down to the bottom floor of Relic Castle that you were able to access during the main game, you will find that the room has filled up with sand, allowing you to enter the hole near the top of the room. After going through a rather literal maze of rooms, you will see one of the Seven Sages, but what's important is that Volcarona is in the room behind him and it is Level 70, making it the highest-leveled non-boss in the game.. |

Tips
Doctors are your friends
In certain areas of the game, you will come across NPCs with sprites of Nurses and Doctors. Battle these trainers and, after the battle, they will heal you party as many times as you wish. These NPCs are particularly useful, as they provide free healing and are situated in many areas of Unova.
Easy Experience without much effort!
In the game, there is a special Pokemon named Audino that makes leveling-up your Pokemon easy. To find an Audino, go to almost any route that has wild grass. With enough time and patience, you will see a patch of grass shake in the midst of other patches of grass. This usually indicates that an Audino is in that patch of grass (Audino is not in the shaking grass 100% of the time in some areas). Proceed to the patch (without triggering any other battle) and fight Audino. Audino will yield a good amount of experience after your have made it faint, this is particularly useful for raising weak-leveled Pokemon as well as higher-leveled ones!
Audino appears virtually anywhere there is wild grass, meaning players who have just started are in the same position as players ahead in terms of easy leveling-up. Also, Audino will match the levels of the surrounding wild Pokemon.
Free Berries
It's a good idea to battle every PkMn Ranger and Breeder you come across on your adventure. Each of them relinquishes a berry upon defeat.
level 100 pokemon
go to gear station and stay in the circular place. go into the second lane cos you will run into a machene get your character to face you then put something heavy on the down button and wait about 12 hours (why not leave it over night!) as you ay know one step gives your pokemon in the day care 1 xp so put the pokemon you want at level 100 in the day care.
REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR DS CHARGER PLUGGED IN!

Make easy money early in game
Upon receiving the dowsing machine in Nacrene City it is wise to register it as your main key item, if you walk around with this item you can easily discover rare items like mushrooms, stardust etc.
These items sell for a pretty penny in the beginning of the game.
Santa Musical Props
A man inside the Western-most Building in Opelucid City will give you 4 Santa props, one a day until you've got all 4.
Stone and Mushroom Purchasers
There are two particularly useful NPC's that you should be aware of:
Stone Purchaser: In the Icirrus City Pokemon Center, there is a certain man there that is willing to purchase any stones you have in your inventory (Stones include Nuggets, Pearls, Evolution Stone, etc.). He will purchase them at double the price of what PokeMart vendors, meaning you get more money for your stones.
Mushroom Purchaser: In Route 5, there is a certain lady inside the truck that is willing to purchase Mushrooms and food items from you (Food Items might possibly include Berries and other items as well). She will purchase them at double the price of what PokeMart vendors offer and she is the only person who will purchase BalmMushrooms.
Glitches
How to make the move Transform fail.
First, because the move transform never misses, you'd think it would'nt fail. But it does. First, obtain a Zorua or Zoroark. Then, when you fight a ditto, because of Zorua and Zoroark's illusion ability they will turn into the last pokemon in your party the ditto will not know which pokemon to turn into. Zorua/Zoroark or the pokemon they are pretending to be? Because of this, the move Transform (ditto's only known move) will remain useless and never work, leaving the ditto utterly useless.

Sky Drop glitch
One of the most famous glitches of the game, this glitch only works in Double/Triple Battles, so get yourself into one if you're not already. To perform the glitch, you have to use Sky Drop on one Pokemon. Now when the other Pokemon uses Gravity, the Pokemon will be pulled down to the ground. However, the target of Sky Drop cannot move until the user of Sky Drop faints.
