Put Yggdra Union into your GBA slot of your DS and do the tutorials. Yggdra should be the host. Also, when you do this, the game should unlock a new recruitable character, Pamela. You don't get her automatically though I think. If you don't have Yggdra Union, well just wait a month and maybe a code/cheat will be available that tricks the ds into thinking it is or something.
