Sega Rally 2 Cheats & Tips

Bonus cars
Place 1st in each year of the 10 Year Championship. Each time you finish a year you unlock a new car:

Secret Rally track
If you are going for the bonus cars, and place 1st in every year in the 10 year Championship, you will unlock a secret track.

All Tracks
From the Title Screen, press Up (x2), Down, A (x2), R, B (x2), Down. All tracks, including the Secret Rally track will be unlocked.

All cars (Japanese version)
From the Title screen, press Up, Down, Up, B, A, Left, B (x2), Down.

All Tracks (Japanese Version)
From the Title Screen, press Up, Left, Down, Right, B, A, B, Right, Down. This will unlock all tracks unlocked by the 10 year Championship, and will also unlock the secret rally track... it essentially skips through having to place 1st in each race.

Faster Frame Rates
60 frames per second:
From the Title Screen, press Up, A, Down (x2), Left, Right, B (x2), Down. 60 frames per second:
From the Title screen, press Up, A, Down (x2), Left, Right, B (x2), Up.

Alternate car colors
At the car selection screen, highlight a car and press L.

Hidden cone area
Select arcade mode and begin a game in the Rivera race in either championship or practice mode. Drive as usual until you reach the very last turn. There you should see two red construction cones. Knock both of those cones down. You'll hear something as you hit them. Now turn around and drive in the wrong direction of the track, and look for an opening leading to a hidden section of the track. You'll find an area with many many construction cones that give you 100pts when you knock them down. There's a timer that gives you 30 seconds to wrack up as many points as you can. submitted by Derek Langden
